My daughter and I booked the cooking class in Palermo with Patrizia last week and had such a wonderful time! I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and delicious break from site seeing. We met Patrizia and walked to the AMAZING market to pick our fresh seafood and dinner ingredients. The market was phenomenal, so much fresh seafood. We picked from what was in season and then casually walked back to Patrizia's charming place. We drank wine, ate cheese and made swordfish rolls, fresh pesto pasta, delicious artichokes and a sweet dessert with a Limoncello chaser (whatch out for that one!). Patrizia was such a great hostess, we had such a lovely time and agreed this was the best meal we had in Rome/Palermo. It was so fresh and so delicious! The experience was one we will not soon forget, I cannot recommend it more highly. Thank you Patrizia!

A delightful stroll thru the market to purchase our meal ingredients, watched a fish monger carve the fish and watched our chef haggle for the fresher veggies. Patricia welcomed us into her home, and together we prepared a wonderful Sicilian feast. Felt like friends around the table chatting and enjoying delicious food. Definitely do this!

We had the best day with Patrizia! This turned out to be one of our best experiences in Palermo! My husband is 3/4 Sicilian and we chose this class specifically for Sicilian recipes. We loved the experience, the food and the wine! Patrizia made us feel right at home in her apartment and was the perfect host! Can't wait to go back! PS...buy the cookbook! We did, and we're slowly making our way through all the recipes.

My wife and I totally enjoyed meeting our guide and instructor, Patricia. She was warm and welcoming into her Palermo home for a light hearted class on her terrace for Sicilian dishes.

The wonderful chef who shopped for ingredients at the Market and taught me how to cook them. I was a solo traveler and Patrizia made me feeL right at home. A beautiful covered balcony where we cooked and drank Sicilian wine. I am preparing my own Sicilian meal in my home from her cookbook, Seriously Sicilian. I love it and it is a beautiful book. I highly recommend this adventure. ,

Patrizia was a great host for this cooking class! I recommend booking the morning time slots because the market is open and the food is fresh. Going to the market and purchasing the ingredients for the meal is part of the experience you don't want to miss! The class was very informative, also very relaxed and enjoyable. The food was outstanding!

This was an amazing experience! Up to this point, we had a definite preference for Tuscan food and really thought we were not going to enjoy this (we signed up before coming to Sicily and eating some Sicilian food). Not only did Patrizia teach us about the food and help us make an amazing meal, she helped us understand the mix of flavors that - when cooked right - makes the food so wonderful. She is a great teacher and wonderful cook. Make sure you buy her cookbook too. I quit collecting cookbooks as I did in my younger years because you can find so much on the internet but her recipes are truly special. She doesn't push you to buy anything at all but because we love to cook, we wanted to. It is truly the highlight of this trip to Italy,

Patrizia was a perfect hostess. After a lovely walk through one of the markets to pick up needed ingredients, we were made comfortable on a lovely terrace overlooking the Cathedral for some cheese and wine. Making the pasta was super fun, and each course we prepared was fantastic. This was just a great way to spend a few hours in Palermo. Highly recommended!

Patrizia was a wonderful guide and teacher! Great walking through the Capo market and gathering our ingredients! Pasta! Pesto! Fish! Eggplants! Pears! Wine! All combined to make spectacular dishes! Recommended for foodies and chefs! I went as solo, group was great!

This was the most AMAZING experience i had in Italy. Worth every penny. Patrizia - born and raised in Palermo - taught us so much about Sicilian cooking and opened her home and her heart to us. From the aperitif and wine and cheese pairings - to the market trip and all the cooking we did from scratch - I learned SO MUCH - bought her cookbook and can’t wait to try all the recipes! Was definitely one of the highlights of my Sicilian tour. Great that we got to shop the markets for the local ingredients prior to the cooking class. We cooked up some of the local specialities - Busiati al Pesto Trapanese followed by Involtini de Pesce Spada with Caponata and Patrizia even made me mine eggplant free as I can’t eat eggplant. Pear tart finished off the meal perfectly. Best meal I had in Palermo and Patricia is an excellent host & teacher. Would thoroughly recommend this for foodies.

It was incredibly interesting! It was a very friendly environment. It was very interesting to learn how to cook something new. So many interesting things to learn! It was a wonderful experience.

Enjoyed every aspect of this experience from picking the ingredients at the market we would need to create our dishes to experiencing the locale cuisine and culture with chef Patricia in her home where we made our creations. Would highly recommend this, very hands on experience and it was just my wife and I so very fun…especially the wine as we worked through our dishes.

We had the best time spending the evening with Patrizia! She was so welcoming! She had cheeses, olives, and wines for us to taste while we cooked multiple dishes. She even has her own cook book, so we’re excited to try to recreate the foods we made at home. She is a wonderful host and we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Palermo!

Patricia came highly recommended by a family friend working in Palermo. From the very start, when we met at the Capo market, Patricia and us hit it off splendidly. She is a great guide as well as a cook and historian. Going through the market and buying our ingredients was a pleasure when accompanied by her. Nothing was a problem but a choice for a delicious lunch. We settled on fresh tuna with caponata, pasta with red pesto and cassata cake for dessert. Preparation was an easy banter seemingly totally effortless and just a great conversation with an incredibly personable woman with experience and attention to detail in everything! Three bottles of local wine were tasted with ease and everything was simply delicious and very tasty. With just the two of us, it was like having lunch with a good friend. Highly recommend this Sicilian experience with Patricia!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience learning and cooking with Patrizia! She was so kind and welcoming to us into her home. It was fun going to the Capo Market together to pick up the ingredients beforehand. All of the food was delicious, and we look forward to recreating the recipes when we return home to the US (California). My husband and I are very grateful for this unique and memorable experience.
