Our tour guides Lisa and Mike were absolutely wonderful. Lisa is a wealth of information. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to hike up Diamond Head. Mahalo.

Although we saw this hike whilst browsing and didn't think much of actually walking it. My fiance just spontaneously said let's go on the Diamond Head Hike ! We called for our car to be pulled up and hit the GPS route. Have to say that we are active and this fit right in line with our lifestyle. It was a great experience and I'd have to say I would not shy away from doing it again to catch any views that we didn't catch the 1st time. The views and resting points along the way are simply amazing. The Hike is very well laid out and an easy walk as the trail snakes on cliffs edge and even through the mountain at one point. So cool.

Our tour guides were very nice and they knew a lot about the history of Hawaii. We didn't care much about the hotels tour but we loved the rest of the tour, also the hike was very fun. Remember to bring a lot of water and a hat. I would recommend it to a friend.

This was the perfect tour of Waikiki, with great tour guides. We learned about all of the nice restaurants, shops, bakery’s and much more. It is also a great way to get some history on Waikiki. The hike at the end is a great way to end it, it is very fulfilling once you’re able to see the amazing view from the top. In conclusion I would definitely recommend this tour as it is very informative and has spectacular guides that will make this a fun and informative experience for all.

This was a great tour that we got to do on our first full day in Waikiki! Lisa and Michael showed us all the great areas of the city and gave us a lot of cool facts and information on the different areas to visit while here! Lisa got AWESOME pictures of us the whole tour which was so great and very appreciated! The hike up to Diamond Head was so beautiful and the sights were breathtaking! I would 100% recommend this tour as one of the first to do!

Shaxi was awesome to work with! After originally booking, it became apparent that the hike on Friday morning was going to experience some rain. After messaging Shaxi, Michael reached out right away and worked with me to change the time and day to a sunnier option :). Lisa and Michael went out of their way to make me feel like royalty on their tour. Such an easy fun filled tour which included a tour of Waikiki, Diamond Head hike, and then finishing with the famous Leonard's Bakery :). A perfect 3 to 4 hour excursion while in Oahu :). Don't hesitate to book with Shaxi!

Michael was our driver and tour guide. Fortunately, we were the only people on the tour that morning. Michael was very knowledgeable about local history and quite affable. The actual tour takes between 3-4 hours and the other 2 hours are spent hiking up Diamond Head. Word of warning: Make sure you wear good tennis shoes and light clothing for your hike. If you can, bring a bottle of water with you. I would consider this a moderate to hard hike primarily because of the uneven terrain. However, it is certainly worth the effort when you reach the top. Coming down is a heck of lot easier than going up! We were very impressed with the tour as it gave us a good local flavoring of Waikiki and the Diamond Head areas. We suggest you take it as early as possible during your visit to the Waikiki Beach area.

We enjoyed all of the stops and notable landmarks around Waikiki. Our tour guide was messing and extremely knowledgeable regarding the rich history surrounding the island. The Diamondhead hike was absolutely beautiful, and can easily be completed within the amount of time allowed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience filled with perfect Waikiki Kodak moments!

We had an amazing time!!! We had our tour split up due to a big event coming to town and Shaxi wanting to give us the best experience! Well they totally did! We had Lisa for a sunset tour and she was absolutely fabulous! She was so knowledgeable and fun! It felt like we were roaming around town with a best friend! We had Michael take up to Diamond Head for the second part of the tour. He was super nice and helpful. We truly appreciate them both giving us an excellent experience! Would recommend Shaxi to anyone looking for a fun way to see the area!

The tour was amazing. I enjoyed the tour guide. However, she took photos of us which was not that many. I texted her a couple of times about the photos and she promised to send them but never did. I asked did we have to pay for the pictures and she assured me no. My friend tipped her because I did have any cash on me at the time. Overall it was a good experience.

Please take this tour when you first arrive.....it will set you up for a great rest of your vacation!!!! You see all of Waikiki and if Lisa is your guide you will be entertained while hearing all about the people and the history of the area. My favorite part was the Natatorium stop.....they need to figure out how to restore that to greatness ASAP!!! Also, Leonard's of course. The hike is a bit more intense than you might think. Super fun tour!

Great Tour !! So glad we did this tour. We were only in Honolulu for 1 night and 2 days. The tour with Lisa showed us so much of the sites. She was very informative about the sites and the history behind it all. She took pictures for us at each stop and sent them to us after the tour. My husband loved the Malasadas !!!

We are in are 60s and we are not exercise buffs. We walked to the top. We may have had more rests but we made it to the top. Beautiful sights at top of Diamond Head. The driver of the shaxi gave us a tour. She drove us around & gave us great info. Also, she made stops for photos & places of interest. She also sent us photos of the sights we had visited.

Easy, safe and a one of a kind way to see Waikiki and do the Diamond Head hike! It was not as stifling as a coach bus would have been. The Shaxi car was an open air electric vehicle uniquely decorated that drove us around. Lisa was on time, a great tour guide and very entertaining! She also took and sent a lot of photos of our tour.
