Not worth the money at all! The food was awful -- poor quality and cold! They had hot dogs and served cold hot dog buns and coffee that was cold as well. You are better off waiting in line to meet the characters than to waste your money on this experience. I felt like I was sitting in a cafeteria and was served food worse than I could've ever imagined. I also contacted them about this and have yet to receive a call back. Very disappointing as I enjoyed the park overall.

I bought a season past a year ago and visited the park over 30 times since then. Always bought stuff in the stores, countless dine with Elmo, and spent thousands at this park. Always noticed miserable employees rolling their eyes at events and shows. Nasty attitudes at concession stands but overall we had a good time. This last time I was clearly a racial target due to my darkened complexion. Detained for a white person's mistake. I don't recommend going unless u have white skin.

We had a great time. This place put a huge smile on my son's face. My favorite photo of him playing in the water made me feel he could do an add or be a model for them I thank God for the unforgettable memories created.

My kids absolutely loved Sesame Place. They enjoyed all the rides and they particularly enjoyed the parade. That being said, the park was definitely understaffed. None of the water slides in the water play area were open, and it appear only 1 water ride other than the lazy river was open. The food stands along the parade route had only 1 person working them right before the parade, despite super long lines, and they continually ran out of food. Even more frustrating was the kids rides themselves had long lines not because of crowds, but because of lack of staff. For example, rather than having 2 attendants on a ride (one handling letting people on and a second helping people get into their seats), each ride only had 1 attendant, which probably added 2-3 minutes to each cycle of a ride. For a park where most kids are under 8 years old, speed of getting kids on and off a ride should be paramount. The Magic Queue is expensive, but if your kids are going to want to go on rides multiple times, it is probably necessary (my kids only went on each ride once, so we did not buy it). The prices of things in the park were expensive, but that is most theme parks nowadays, so nothing unexpected there.

We went on 8/27, the Sunday before labor day weekend. Got to parking lot at 9:45am, waited about 3 minutes parked closer than the reserve parking. Line to get through security 5-10 minutes, line to get ticket scanned 5-10 minutes. So we were in the park by about 10:10am and there was no line for anything. My husband and I went with our 3 year old girl and she had a ball. No lines for any of the dry rides, we rode three of them, and she passed on the rest, but there was still no long lines by the time we left the dry area around 11am. I read the reviews of the food and opted for the Dine with Elmo to avoid the headache and get guaranteed character meetings. This was my daughters favorite part of the day and well worth it despite, the absolutely terrible food. The shows were also cute for her and I really liked the one on Sesame Street with Big Bird because it felt like watching an episode being filmed. We also skipped the two water slides because lines, and my daughter took one look and went "no thanks", but there was zero line for the lazy river and we did that a few times and spent the rest of the day by the wave pool (which I wish went a little deeper). I didn't think the employees were rude, but I'm a NYer who doesn't really love/need in your face happiness either... There were also little to no lines for the characters that were out and about if you caught it when they were getting to there spot, which was easy to do if you checked the app. It was a great park for my 3 year old, who barely sat in her stroller because it's just not that big. Will we go back? She'll probably outgrow it in 2 years, so not likely, but it was worth it for the HALF PRICE tix we got. Worth it for full price? Probably not.

Just Awful! Multiple bathrooms were just disgusting all day. $35 to rent a locker. Multiple attractions closed. Only two quick serve restaurants open with lines out the doors and 1-2 cashiers. Trash everywhere. $6 for a bottled water! We left early and didn’t come back for our free second day. Seaworld execs should be embarrassed by this park. The only reason I gave two stars was because my kids had fun meeting the few characters that were available that day. Judging by all recent reviews, you should just avoid at all costs.

Horrendous. The park is extremely short staffed. There was one single water slide open due to lack of employees. Of course everyone waited on line to ride it. 2 hours for a 5 second ride. This particular ride (rosita's) also has side by side slides but only one side was in use because there was only one employee/lifeguard available. Complete ineffective and a waste of time. Never again.

We went to Sesame place with our 3 kids ages 5,6 &8. It was great. We went middle of August and it was busy but nothing we didn't expect. The rides were great for kids these ages. There were water rides and amusement rides. We arrived at 1120 am and left just before closing at 620pm . This is a great place where parents can watch their kids have the biggest smiles on their faces. The lines for the meet and greets were also very small.

I would like to mention that I’ve been to many theme parks. This is by far, the worst. The Good: other reviews say it’s good for toddlers. That’s it. The Bad: 1. Parking is as expensive as Disney world. Really? 2. Staff never smile! Rude and impersonal. The worst treatment I witnessed in theme parks. Whether it’s at the ticket office to the rides. 3. If you don’t get the fast pass, skip the entire park. You’ll be waiting in their sad little lines forever. 4. Other reviews that mention it’s better for toddlers lack value. Disneyworld has more rides for toddlers than sesame 5. Water park is dirty. You can see garbage floating with you. Yikes! I’m really disappointed and wish I had saved time and money and went to disneyworld. Totally overrated!

I'm writing to express my disappointment in my family's Sesame Place experience from 8/21/23. My family of four--my husband, myself and our children (2 and 4) arrived at 10:30am, waited in a long line to pay for parking, a long line for security (but it moved quickly) and a short line that moved terribly slow for tickets. When we finally got in the park we were anxious to enjoy the attractions. We were met with a 45-minute wait for the lazy river. We watched empty tubes pile up at an exit that was unmanned by staff and therefore people were not entering the river as they did not have access to these tubes that were about 200 yards upstream. After one loop of the river we decided to try the family tube ride that could hold all 4 of us. The wait was 90 minutes. Although we thoroughly enjoyed the slide, it was certainly not worth the wait. By now it was after 1:30 so we waited in yet another line for lunch--I think it was 40 minutes. And $90 for one cheeseburger, one chicken sandwich and two uncrustables and two drinks? Wow. In a park where bringing your own food is not an option to charge those insane prices and have such terrible waits for food that was basic as best. To top it off we learn there are surcharges for using credit cards, yet cash was not accepted. What?! This is criminal. That was the end we decided to leave. We finished lunch at 2:50 just in time for a parade, which was actually good, then left. I've wanted to visit Sesame Place since I was a child. I could not wait to take my children. Sadly, we will never return. Almost 5 hours and we only could do 2 rides and watch a parade. Yes it was expensive too, which is aggravating, but the time was the real issue. If we had paid all the money that we did and actually got to enjoy it my review would've been different. See you NEVER Sesame Place.

The park is organized and fun for small children. The water activities are nice for all ages. Renting a Cabana is a plus and a must if you like to get away from the crowd and for privacy. It has its perks. Now what needs improvement is food service; the amount of time waiting for your order and the taste of the food is terrible. The chicken tenders are your best bet. The bathrooms are nasty and smelly, the bathroom attendants need to clean at least every 30 mins when the park is full. Overall Sesame Place is cool, but even better on a least busy day.

I have never written a review before, but felt I had to after today’s visit to sesame place. For paying over $300 for our family to go it was beyond a disappointment! Not only are there barely any rides and one of the water slides was not working, the crowds were insane! The park was way over capacity to the point of feeling dangerous. The lazy River had no room to float everyone was walking, those in tubes running over kids with no life guards in the water. You also had to walk to get a tube, no one working there was bringing them over. Most of the drink places were closed and the Count’s splash area was so overrun it with people my kids couldn’t go. They went for a few minutes and my son got lost in the crowd. I strongly discourage any visit here.

I will never recommend anybody to go there ways the money. We stay there for 5 hours. The kids only use the Slide for 4 time. They have to wait 1 hours online.. Can I pay extra for tickets VIP? Just because there are short stuff, it's not my problem. At least they should Tell customers note to pay extra. But they don't care, they just want you money.

8/13/23 EXPENSIVE- We paid $55 for 1 handicapped parking (which wasn't available as preferred parking is the same lot and all the spots were taken), tax +5% surcharge to every purchase. Tickets weren't terribly priced as we only paid $65/ea. for a Sunday but if schedules allow they have some good discounts mid week. $21+/refillable soda cup...not awful if you enjoy soda however every stand was out of ice come noon and half the stands were out of certain soda (regular coke was what we saw), how do they not have ice? We didn't eat in the park and I wouldn't even recommend it (we made 12 sandwiches with snacks and drinks for the price we would've paid for 2 hotdogs ($11.99/ea)..I get you're a park but its a hot dog folks!! CLEANLINESS- The gates open at 10a, by 11 the place was destroyed and got worse throughout the day. We did dry rides first but the over population of guests the wait lines were ridiculous. 3 kid rides in over 2 hrs...what a waste!! After we exited the park to eat in the handicapped lot (that was actually the nicest part of the park) we changed to hit up water rides. OMG, the place was filthy, like beyond disgusting. DO NOT FORGET WATER SHOES!! Food and drinks are allowed in all areas of the water parts and it shows. Food on the ground was nasty, the chairs (if you found one) along with the ground was covered in ketchup, popcorn, hot dog bun pieces, crackers smushed and everything else you could possibly eat wet and covered every inch of the water park ground. **WHY IS FOOD ALLOWED IN THE WATER AREAS** CROWD: I don't know what the park caps at but I think it should be less. The amount of people just made for a miserable day. EVERY line was over a 45 minute wait. Even the folks that paid for special passes were waiting. Does Sesame Place not have Maintenance that continues to clean all day?? People are just gross. Water Parks should be designed to walk around in bare feet but this park you're walking on trash all day. And don't even get me started on the restrooms... I was there in the late 80s and revisted with my nephews..I definitely will not recomment.

I visited Sesame Place on the morning of Sunday, July 30, 2023. I was with my husband and my three children ages 5 weeks, 2 years and 5 years old. The line to get in to the park was over a mile long and we waited in it for over an hour with three children under 5. Despite the line, the kids were excited to enter the park. When we finally got to security, my diaper bag was scanned and flagged for having two 4oz glass baby bottles. I was told I had to throw them away or take them back to the car. I immediately started to cry and panic because I was given options that left me with no ability to feed a five week old baby. Not to mention that we also had just spent a fortune on parking and had to wait in line for over an hour in the heat of the summer with small children. None of the staff members provided any viable options to allow us to stay at the park with the baby bottles. No staff members offered support or guidance about who I could speak to regarding the issue. I was so panic stricken that I could not think clearly enough to come up with any viable options myself. All I could do was cry and see my children sitting there wondering why I was so upset. People in line were staring at us, staff members just wanted to push us along, and no one was offering help. I felt embarrassed, panicked and completely helpless. All I could think about was how do I feed my baby? She is only 5 weeks old?! I was going to have to leave the park, turn around and go home. Thankfully, a random stranger came out of line and gave me one of her extra bottles. She understood the panic that I was feeling at the time. She understood how helpless I was feeling because I could not provide food to a five week old baby. She gave me a hug and helped get me and my kids situated at the side of the line while my husband had to sprint back to our car to store the bottles. She saved me that day. I fully understand why you prohibit glass in the park because of the swimming pools and because of the liability issues. As a mom who was five weeks post-partum and sleep deprived, I was not even thinking the bottles would have been flagged. However, I feel like the situation could have been handled differently and a more professional and empathetic way. I would have gladly handed them over to guest relations where I could have come back and fed my daughter periodically throughout the day with the glass bottles. I would have appreciated if the staff could have pulled us to the side to handle the issue so that I wasn’t having a panic attack in front of literally hundreds of people. I would have just appreciated being treated with some empathy and sensitivity. You have lost my business and the business of my friends and family. I am disappointed in the way this was handled and plan never to return.

Hadn't been to SP for about 4 years. Happy to see that they have improved the Dining with Elmo experience. The sanitation, food quality and food handling has improved greatly. They also do play cute games and other activities with the characters and kids which really enriches the character engagement and makes it worthwhile IMO. My big complain with SP is the lack of built in shade in the parks and lack of proper staffing. Some of the rides in Cookie Monster land don't open until an hour after park opening so arriving early doesn't necessarily help. At the water park on a Friday morning, it took over an hour to get on Rosita's slides because they only had one slide open. Additionally, the magic quee that they have added where you can pay more to skip the line/express line is awful. It makes the regular long that much longer, luckily most park goers don't participate but I can't imagine the increased wait times if more well heeled customers starting using this system. Creating a two tier experience is a no for me. Easy, small and manageable Great park for the under 7/8. set. Needs more shade and better staffing.

Killing some time while I’m waiting in yet another line at Sesame Place…….I’ve never in my life written a bad review but this day has been so dismal I felt compelled. We’ve been here 6 hours and have only been able to do the lazy River, eat lunch and watch the parade due to the absolutely atrocious lines for EVERYTHING. They seem to be even more short-staffed than usual……at 12:15 we were told multiple lunch places still were not open because so many staff had called out. Lines for rides are longer than we experienced at Disney. I read previous reviews about the employees’ surly attitudes skeptically but honestly- everyone who works here seems to be as miserable as half the guests. There’s just far too many people for what this place can handle. For the price, it’s truly ridiculous. Between tickets for 7, parking, food and 2 small souvenirs, we’ve spent over $1000. Learn from our mistake and save that money to do something actually fun like Disney.

We went on two weekdays (tues/wed) during August and it was quite different. Tuesday was overcast and a bit chilly and we had a wonderful time. There weren't that many people and so even if the lines were slow moving the waits weren't bad. Met a few characters, saw some shows and the parade (which was a good 20 mins) and the kids had a lot of fun. Stayed from open until 6pm. That day is 5 stars. Everyone had fun. Wednesday however was hot and sunny and we arrived at opening again. Did a few water rides before the crowds built up but oh boy did they build. I think a lot of locals are pass holders so when it's sunny they flood the park. The lines grew to ridiculous lengths making the rides unusable and just being there uncomfortable. Both days the Rosita slides had one closed but Tuesday you could still ride it. On Wednesday it looked like half a day wait. The line for the raft ride was down to the ground so that was also probably over an hour. People were doing downright ridiculous things. Some women and children who didn't get there early enough to grab seats right in front of the kiddie pool decided to carry another chair from somewhere else right in front of the established line of chairs and stick their large double stroller next to it blocking numerous people who did get there early and were actually sitting there. Those clowns were practically in the water themselves but no employees around to ask them wtf are you doing. That day we decided to leave early, before the parade even. Wednesday is definitely a 1 because after 11am it was basically a miserable time with rides unusable and we couldn't bear to stay. I can only imagine how bad it would be on a hot sunny weekend day. I think you're best bet is to hope for clouds and a chance of rain (but not actual rain) on a weekday. I'm going to combine my days for a 3-star experience. Other things... Food is awful quality and high priced and they don't let you bring your own. I think they don't let you bring homemade meals like tacos and your chips and dips spread because that would be a mess especially with how the locals just kind of do whatever they want. However they didn't confiscate my kids' chewy bars and I had a big bottle of water so we only needed one meal thankfully. The shows and character meets are in my mind the reason for going. The rides aren't spectacular and there are better parks, water parks, even town pools for much cheaper but they don't have sesame street or likely any characters/shows. Check the schedule on the app to see the shows. The welcome party show at paradise theater was excellent and the beach music dance one was cool (although too loud) and again the parade was very good. All in all I'm very happy we got to go on that cloudy day - the kids had a good time and got to ride everything they wanted and see many characters. We probably won't be back anytime soon though because the sunny days are a hot mess. Go on a weekday when the weather forecast is iffy.

Great place for kids in the 3-10 year old range - definitely enough to keep the kids busy for most of the day - we spent half the day in water parts - tickets are EXPENSIVE, but they are usually offered at a 30-50% discount so try to get on the mailing list to get discount tickets alerts
