Our guide Jeannie was a delight. She picked us up in the lobby of our downtown hotel which was nice. We. Spent the time visiting the king’s palace, dropped into a museum which taught us about Korean family culture. We absolutely loved the village area where we took great pictures. Best way to end a tour is shopping at the quaint little shops for souvenirs! Jeannie’s English was great and she really helped us to understand Korea better.

My “buddy” Jeannie was a sweetheart! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We toured exquisite Changdeokgung Palace before stopping for a yummy sweet treat in an elegant tea house before visiting nearby Bukchon Hanok Village. She had been delayed meeting me due to having been sent to the wrong hotel. She was so apologetic and gracious that she accompanied me in the taxi to my special evening performance of The Painters

Had a fun & lovely time with Tracy on a sunny day in Seoul. She was immensely knowledge about all things South Korean culture and history, quickly identifying what I had already experienced and ensuring that we only covered new ground. We had a delicious and off-the-beaten-path lunch, showing me areas of the city I would not have found myself.

Sung is a informative and extremely knowledgeable guide, she provided us with local information and a history of South Korea which we we would never have gained by ourselves. It was great way to start our first day in Seoul.

We had a great half day with Sung. She did a great job explaining Korean history to us and was very well spoken in English. Our sons enjoyed the day!

Catherine was so knowledgeable about Korean history and culture and explained it very well. She also answered all of my questions. She also brought a book with pictures and diagrams to help explain various aspects of history. It was a very informative tour from start to finish. And while her English is very very good, she was also able to help me practice my Korean language skills.

Experienced a little bit of a mixup in the beginning. We previously completed one of these Korean Buddy 4 hour tours earlier in our trip. We booked a second one as we found the first guide especially knowledgeable and helpful. It seems each of our tours booked thru Viator reached out the day before with meetup details and working out an itinerary. Except in this particular booking, no one reached out and I had to contact the agency thru Viator to inquire about the scheduled tour for the following day. Instead of the agency reaching out to the assigned tour guide themselves, they gave me her phone number. After messaging Rose, the tour guide, we settled on an itinerary for the next day. The day of the booking, a different tour guid, Rebecca, was waiting for her assigned booking, at the lobby of our hotel. After some additional calls she made to the agency, she determine we were the group she was there to pick up. The agency had sent her to fill-in Rose's place and Rose was supposed to let us know but she did not. Very poor communication experience from Rose. I would have given this Korean Buddy booking only 2 stars had Rebecca's helpfulness and willingness in taking us to the two places we wanted to go, which were not typical tour requests. Despite Rebecca needing to ask many people along the way if they knew the places we wanted to see (Music Zone at Olympic stadium which several people she asked didn't know where it was and the other was a specific store in the Coex Mall in Gangnam) and taxi drivers dropping us off at the wrong stadium, Rebecca made sure our mission was completed. She also brought mugwort rice cakes for us and provided great conversation and stuck around to have dinner with us, past the 4 hour marking the end of the tour. Thank you so much Rebecca!

To get a feel for Seoul, we advise you to take this tour. Our outing was a huge success. Tracy, your tour companion from Korea, is helpful and fluent in English. There was plenty of time for us to take pictures and explore. In a word, thank you.

The sightseeing trip across Seoul was a great experience for my family and me. Our Korean guide obviously has a wealth of knowledge about the city of Seoul. My daughter and I peppered her with questions, and she patiently answered each one with a thorough explanation. I really value your help.

Piecing together the culture of this tour was made simple by ron's remarkable ability to explain the historical context of the culture of the Korean Peninsula and the reason the Seoul was created. She was well-organized and meticulous. Our tour bus was the first to arrive at the Seoul because we were consistently on time and on schedule. Finding tour korean buddys who place such an emphasis on giving clients the best value and experience is nearly unheard of and rare. A fantastic tour korean buddy was Tracy! She is fluent in English and shared with us some intriguing tales and facts about the past. The traditional market visit was a little challenging to notice the details because it was so chilly and misty in December. She worked extremely hard despite the early hour of the day to make sure we could obtain tickets. Overall, I'd give it a 10/10!

With ron, it was a fantastic tour! Even though we departed for the tour quite early in the morning, ron was still very energized. ron spoke English well and was a jovial, warm, bubbly person.
