Showed up on time. Was checked in and given tour sticker. Only after completing all of this were we told the guide did not show up. We were given the choice of a full refund or guide refund and tour on our own. Hard to believe such a large company would not have redundancy built in for this situation.

Highly recommend this tour if you want to see the main sites of the Vatican! Our tour guide was so informative and also such a character he was great, unfortunately I didn’t get his name but his mascot was Rufus the warthog! We did the later tour around 3pm which was a great time to go as it was a bit cooler and not as busy, the tour guide even commented it wasn’t as busy. It’s very worth getting the tour guide as the museums are so vast, the tour guide makes sure you don’t miss the main sights! Don’t hesitate in booking this.

Our tour guide Amy was amazing. Smart, funny and she kept the conversation going and we all loved her. As a art history major she really knew her stuff! If you can request her and I promise you will have a great time and learn more than you think you can.

A lot of history and beautiful things to see but semi private tour is very misleading. We had about 20 people in our tour but we were wall to wall people throughout our tour and it was very difficult to hear our guide even with a headset. Only had one ear piece so the loudness from all the people made it difficult to hear. Did not catch a lot of the history.

At the time the tour was to start we were notified the guide was not going to be there for the tour. Therefore, the tour was cancelled. I expect a full refund but based on the unprofessional execution of the tour, I expect a full refund.

Our reservation was canceled the night before our booking. It cost us hundreds of euros to rebook last minuet with another company. It was actually a miracle to find another tour with everything sold out. Imagine you’re in Rome finally. Your booking for the next day. You get the cancellation email. What do you do? Talking about some serious stress…….

Our tour was fantastic! Christian Savona was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and went above and beyond for our small group tour. Taking this tour made a big difference in our ability to understand what we were seeing.

Christian Savona was the BEST!!! He was very knowledgeable and he made the tour so much fun! The Vatican museums are incredible art galleries, as is St Peter’s Basilica. And the Sistine Chapel is so very moving. Fabulous tour!

Our guide Valerio Chini was a great source of information and knowledge on the sisteen and museum. Also archeologist so had great insight on artefacts

The tour was amazing. I learned so much and it was more meaningful than had I gone alone. Highly recommended place to visit and it would be so helpful to go with a tour.

Very well organised and informative and passionate guide Christian. Yes you wait in queues but they move very quickly. He was advised that the Sistine chapel had an unscheduled closure on the day of our tour, he made sure that we were able to view it before it closed. Even though we had a lot of time standing, waiting, during the tour which extended the time it took to see all 3. he stayed with us for longer to make sure we got the full tour and didn’t just leave us when our allotted tour time was up which we were all very grateful for.

Simona was a great guide and narrated the entire time. This is a fast paced tour so not boring. Customers can go back to be bored on their own after the tour. Although the Vatican is not one of the wonders of the world, it should be. Absolutely amazing.
