Interesting tour. All the family found it interesting and fun. It helped us to explore the town and learn new facts about Colmar. The bag was filled with the local produce and souvenirs.

You can tell that this app has been created by people who know Colmar and Strasbourg, and who have put a lot of effort into its design. We had great fun wandering around the city, solving the puzzles and discovering the buildings are areas. The tour includes the main Christmas markets, so we were able to both enjoy the tour and take breaks at the markets. Highly recommended.

Really nice tour made on my own rhythm. I did not successfully complete it because I also wanted to get lost on the beautiful streets. Congratulations for the idea. I read in one comment that the tour is overpriced. I really appreciate someone prepared the small gifts, carefully packed them, and also the mobile app which was created on purpose for this tour. The idea and the effort should be rewarded for sure.

My husband and I took this tour and our guide, Loubna, was fantastic! She made sure to tell us the history of the locations we visited, introduced us to amazing cuisine, and gave us a spectacular tour. I absolutely would recommend both her and this tour to anyone. She was prompt, professional, and even told us some of her other favorite restaurants and shops in the area after the tour ended. Thanks for such a great experience!

A great way to tour the city at your own pace. We stopped for ice cream, water, lunch etc. along the way, so it was hard to say how long the tour really was. You probably could blast through it in 3 hours. But it allows you to go into museums and cathedrals along your route. A very detailed tour and some fun with quizzes and prizes along to way. Would recommend 100%.

It was fun, Educational and took us to places we wouldn’t have seen and gave us a deeper knowledge of the city . Opening the small gifts was fun as well. We even saw others doing this and helped each other occasionally I took off a star because I feel it’s overpriced Still, it’s worth doing and enjoyable

The town was very quaint. Easy to get to by train. Hard to read, follow symbols and juggle a camera. It's a 2.5 hour tour but takes about 4 hours with taking pictures and stopping to eat. If you prefer a tour with audio this does not have it.

I did this tour with my daughter and young grandchildren (3 yrs and 1 year) while in Colmar. We really enjoyed it and definitely learned more about the city. Opening the surprises was a lot of fun! We loved that the tour was self paced and we could stop for breaks as needed with the kids. The app was very easy to use. We did have some trouble logging into the app at first. I called the number provided and the person on the phone was very helpful and we were eventually able to log into the app.

This was an app which takes you for a walk around Colmar. It points out places of interest, history, funny little stories about things around and about. Along the way you get to open packages (6 little sacks) with a small token of the area - wont say what, it is a surprise. You can stop and start the app at any time and we had a break for lunch. The walk takes about 2 and half hours excluding the break. So well worth the cost and better than wondering around aimlessly not knowing all the fascinating symbols and history all around you. Only problem was some works being done by the church so we couldnt get close up or go inside and it sort of took us out of our way as the route was barred. We soon got back on track and this was not the fault of the application. Excellent way to see a town and be able to take it at your own pace.

Very fun activity. Would get the same information from a guided tour but this allows the freedom to take your time and go into the museums that interest you. The gifts were extra fun.

Great time! We did it with the kids but would have enjoyed it the same just the 2 of us. The pack is super easy to collect and then to follow. Anecdotes are both fun and insightful. Ideal if you want to go your pace with a more innovative solution than a simple travel guide. Sue & Chris

This was really an unique and fun experience! Love the surprises in the backpack and the opportunity to take a break and come back to the tour!!!! Will definitely do this again in other cities!

This was the best experience we've had so far visiting Europe with the kids. Each stop was fun, relevant and interesting. Our 3 kids were so excited to get each reward. Along the way, many families and couples were stopping us to ask what we were doing because we had so much fun. We 100% recommend this activity.

I really cannot say enough good things about this tour! We booked a last-minute weekend getaway to Colmar and I didn't have a chance to do all the research I would normally do before a trip. Luckily, I found this tour, and they did all the hard work and research so that I didn't have to. This was such a fun way to explore the city and a unique way to get the kids involved and interested, which, let's be honest, can be a struggle when traveling at times. They loved opening the gifts at just the right moment and they loved the quizzes. The app and instructions were REALLY well done and extremely clear. Also Georges, the creator of the tour, was super friendly and said we could contact him at any moment during the tour if we had a problem. Since everything was explained so well, we didn't have to, but it was nice to feel like we could and that we wouldn't be "bothering" anyone. Highly recommend this to anyone as a wonderful way to discover Colmar!

I can't say enough good things about this tour and its creator, Georges. It was well-worth the money, and I hope that Georges adds more locations soon! Sometimes it's tough to find trips that are keep the whole family interested. COVID and other things have made travel planning even harder lately. We arrived in Colmar to find that the boat tour and the museum we were planning on going to were both closed/cancelled for the duration of our time in Colmar. We heard about this tour and the Hopla Guide from a travel Facebook page and decided to give it a try. It kept us (and our 5-year old) entertained for 2 days, as we took our time and walked around the city. The little gifts kept our son excited. With each one he'd open, he'd say, "How did they know I'd LOVE this?" Hahaha! He walked and walked all over Colmar and didn't seem to get tired once because the promise of another gift to open "just around the corner" held his interest and kept him going. We also learned way more about the city than we would've had we tried to do this on our own with a book or map. The interactive app was really fun. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun way to see the city!

Such a fun experience and loved getting to know Colmar through this tour! Super well done, easy to follow and the surprise gifts are really nice keepsakes!! The most fun walking tour we’ve done.

Our experience with the interactive tour in colmar was so cool. We had 3 tired children but since we could go to the sites on our own time we got through all of the stops. You get to navigate your own way through colmar and you get 6 cool gifts to open during your tour. Pretty easy navigation and the information and history on colmar was awesome. And the interactive games were enjoyed by my children.

My partner and I did this tour of Colmar after having done multiple other "riddle" tour all over Europe. We felt this was the best one we did so far! The level of detail and info about the town was just right, and opening our presents along the way was such a nice touch!
