Enjoyed the rainforest experience, to include multiple eagle sightings. Cold weather gear, to include gloves, recommended! Did not expect to ride the Segway along a major road the entire time. Probably would not have signed up.

This was a really fun way to see some great locations away from the usual tourist stuff. It was just the right length. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to see Alaska as it really is.

We did our homework before arriving in Juneau and booked with Segway as a great way to explore. Our goal with the group was to make sure we had fun with Erin and Reuben with others. Husband and wife duo were very entertaining and a great way to get together for fun. Ideally book in advance as this business is very busy. We had a few newbie’s who hadn’t ridden before and a few rusty ones… lol. The group certainly become comfortable with the leadership of the experienced team of Segway Alaska and the jokes did fly around. Definitely a good way to start the Juneau experience.

The tour guides were knowledgeable of the area and were very patient with the first-time users of the segway. The weather was cooperative, and we were able to ride the path without any issues.

We had a fun time learning to drive the Segway and saw beautiful scenery along the way. Would recommend this tour.

The scenery was amazing, loved the hike through the rain forest and our tour guide Mary Ann was a lot of fun…highly recommend the tour, it took us just a few minutes to learn how to ride the segways.

Booked this segway tour for our family to enjoy during our Juneau cruise ship port stop. It worked out really well! My husband, 9 year old and I were the only ones on the tour that day and thoroughly enjoyed the ride along the coast and the mid-way hike into the rainforest. The views were spectacular and we even got a great view of Mendenhall Glacier in the distance. Our son was too young for a segway so he got a unique Trikke type scooter that was just as neat, and had a great time. Our guide Maria was fun and informative. We'd definitely recommend this tour for the beautiful Alaska scenery and unique experience of riding a segway. There's very minimal driving time to the tour destination and you really get to spend a fair amount of time riding about.

The ride was great with excellent guides. The scenery’s were breathtaking. Even at 70 years of age, we managed the segways with the best instructions.

We did our segway tour along the side of a paved highway which was a beautiful location with water along one side. We made a few stops along the road to see a waterfall and another site. When we reached the rain forest we left our segways in the parking lot and did an easy walk though the rainforest. The guides were quite knowledge on the tour pointing out various plants in the forest but on the segwaybportionbof the tour it was difficult to understand what was being said via the radio attached to most people's segway. The walk through the rainforest was interesting but we didn't realize that half of the trip would be on the segways and half walking through the rainforest. We enjoyed the experience.

Our Segway tour was awesome. Not only did Mother nature deliver an amazing day, we landed an amazing tour guide. Kacie was "super" enthusiastic, bubbly & knowledgeable. Her passion for her job & nature provided us with a beautiful experience. She was very thorough in her safety breifing & Segway training, making us feel comfortable. Amazing views, a great rain forest hike, a yummy snack on the beach & a bald eagle to top off our beautiful tour. We were very pleased with our Juneau Segway excursion. Highly recommend it! With my grandson too light to ride a segway (90# minimum) despite being almost 13 years old, we had to choose the coastal wilderness adventure, as he needed to use a Pon-E, a motorized 3-wheeler scooter. Our entire segway trek was on the shoulder of a 2-lane highway, albeit with very few cars during the 60 or so minutes we were actually riding. The rest of the 3 hours was spent at a waterfall (10 minutes), a coastal overlook (10 minutes), and a walk though a pine forest (45 minutes). The guides were great, but there wasn't enough time riding the segway and definitely not enough wilderness. The other tour offered by this outfit would be a better choice, I suspect, for those wanting a more rewarding segway ride.

We had done Segway tours overseas, for that reason wanted to try one here in Alaska. The route was a good 20 minute drive from the Juneau pier. We started on the side of a 2-lane highway with a good view of the Mendenhall Glacier across the waterway. The route was relatively flat, with a long uphill just before arriving at the rainforest stop. Maria was very good about keeping everyone single file and safe. The rainforest hike was short and informative, leading to a picturesque spot along the shore. The guides shared with us a yummy salmon spread with crackers that hit the spot! On the way back to the van, one of our group wiped out on the long downhill when they hit the edge of the pavement. It was a reminder that these Segways are not to be taken for granted. We had a great time, but it would have been even better without the steady drizzle.

This was absolutely the best Excursion of my day in the Tongass National Forest. I'd never ridden on a Segway before and found this first experience to be the best. Our 2 guides were so professional, courteous, and above all; patient. They ensured that we all knew exactly how to safely maneuver the Segways, before we headed out on the Trails. They also conveniently narrated along the way. We all enjoyed the experience and each other. My only disappointment was that it ended too soon. ;-) I hope to have a repeat of this day with this company on my next Alaskan cruise ;-) Also, thanks guys for the thoughtful snack you packed for all of us guests. It was so very nice of you.

I booked this as an alternative to normal cruise ship excursions. We had previously been on Segway tours 3 times so I had no anxiety about the process of riding. The two leaders were very knowledgeable, professional and safety conscious. Our pre-trip "tune up" was accomplished quickly and safely. All participants quickly became competent with the Segways. We made a few stops. One was a scenic waterfall. Another longer stop included an easy hike through a forest down to a rocky beach. We had some good views of Mendenhall Glacier on the return trip. Note: some may object to the route; you spend your Segway time on the shoulder of a lightly-trafficked 2-lane road. I never felt unsafe on this route.
