My partner and had an outstanding experience with the Alpine Segway. The staff were phenomenal and very helpful. The scenic beauty just outside of Juneau, Alaska was nothing short of amazing.

My Wife and my parents and I all had a wonderful tour! The day could not have been prettier. And the guides were excellent. Shared lots of knowledge about the area and the local vegetation. We got good pictures and overall just a great experience.

Had a great time with Ollisa. Turned out it wa some two of us, so fun, personalized experience. She had great botany experience to explain what we saw. Small mix up on the timing through Viator or their system (4pm vs 5pm), but we walked around for a bit and then joined them.

A breath of fresh air unlike any ever. The air was amazing. The scenery was fabulous. We were a family of 4 with 2 young adult children and loved our Segway tour. Everything went so smoothly from pick up at the pier to when we were dropped of. Ben and Paul were great hosts and guides. They taught us to ride, how to be safe and it was great. The brought us to a beautiful trail and we absolutely loved the natural surroundings. I would highly recommend this tour. I wished the tour itself was a bit longer but overall 5 stars. So much fun! Really energetic tour guides made the scenery that much better. The Segways were easy to learn. Definitely worth my time and money.

A Segway ride had been on my bucket list for several years. This was part of a cruise excursion (no one in my family would go with me), and it was my last day of eligibility as I turned 66 the next day. It was a BLAST!! I had a great time. Carlie and Paul were great - they were patient with me and gave thorough instruction and encouragement. They obviously love their job and made the experience quite enjoyable.

Excellent tour, guides Ben and Casey made learning and riding safe, fun and informative. Trails were nice way to see Alaska Tongass Forest. Easy pickup and return to Juneau port, with driver Jerod (sorry if I messed names). We’re mid-60’s, easy if you can stand balanced, lean forward and back. Recommend for anyone who enjoys nature and appreciates personable guides.

Great tour! The tour guides were friendly, and went out of their way to help us. The instructors were great at teaching us how to use the segways and made sure we were all super comfortable before starting the actual tour.

My Mom and I booked the alpine meadow Segway excursion through Princess Cruise lines. The Segway adventure was amazing! Props to our guides Ben and Paul! They were extremely thoughtful and patient through our training on the Segway, then gave us a terrific guided tour through the unspoiled beauty of an Alaskan glacial valley. I was particularly impressed with the in depth explanations of both the flora and fauna of the area, and the history as well. I highly recommend this activity on a layover in Juneau!

This was so much fun!!! Been, our guide, was amazing! Not only did he guide us through hills and valleys, but Ben was also very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the area. It was a fabulous time, and I can’t wait to do it again!!!

We had a lot of fun learning to ride a Segway from Carly. The trail was beautiful and fun. Carly did a great job showing the sites and sharing details of the plants that fill the forest. Never knew that learning to stand was such a workout!

The criticism in this review is not towards the guides (they were excellent: cheerful, caring, and informative) but towards the activity itself. We were driven across the bay to the Tongass national forest, given a long tutorial on how to ride the Segway, and led down a wide gravel trail for a few miles before turning around and returning the same way. This trail did not detour far from the road and could easily have been explored by foot. Because of group sizes, you have to wait in a long line every time you go up or down a hill. It got a bit dull, especially by the return trip. If your main goal is the ride a Segway, this is for you. BUT if your goal is to take pictures or explore the geography of the forest there are likely better activities you could do. We spent maybe an hour in the forest and the trail, despite the guides’ best efforts to make it interesting for us, was somewhat bland. It was not a bad experience but I wouldn’t pay to do it again and I probably wouldn’t recommend it to a friend. I would suggest to this company to find a more interesting route or at least a loop trail

We learned very early, be ready for any weather when exploring in Alaska. Our tour guides met us at the port and shuttled our group up the mountain for our Alpine Wilderness Segway ride. We had some experienced Segway riders and some non-experienced riders in our group as well. Our guide Kate spent time discussing the operation of the Segways as well as the safety of each rider. Each person was provided a helmet and some personal instruction / training before heading out onto the trail. The day of our Segway tour was wet and rainy, but the show must go on. We rode in the rain and loved every minute of our day. Kate was absolutely fantastic, full of knowledge and fun information. We were dressed to handle the rain and the Segways had no problems with the weather or the terrain. We have ridden Segways a number of times around the U.S. and Mexico, this was the most beautiful and fun filled ride of all. Thank you Kate for making our tour so fantastic! Mark

Thank you for being flexible with my family and also for coming to pick us up in the pouring rain in Juneau! So glad it cleared up for our ride. A nice relaxing tour with lots of scenery and great guides! Jeran and Ben were great. I do wish the ride was slightly longer but I don't think much can be done about that :)
