A must do in Ho Chi Minh! We got to try so many new and local foods at places that were really off the beaten track! Tony and Thomas were amazing hosts and also taught us so much about the local culture. We had some of the best food we have had whilst being in Vietnam! It was a real highlight and treat - you get so much food so don’t eat before!

The tour was excellent. Food was amazing and Tony our guide was very friendly and gave a great back story about each dish. The motorbikes were safe. Our teenagers 14 & 15 yo loved it! A great way to experience Vietnamese food away from all the traditional touristy restaurants!

A wonderful time and great way to see the real Saigon! From Baum Mi to a seafood and snail feast finishing with refreshing tropical dessert. Safe cross crossing of HCMC on back of motorcycle another experience in itself. Thanks Tony and your team

Fantastic night. The local knowledge from Tony was incredible. Our kids (14 & 11) had an absolute ball on the mopeds and were very adventurous trying the different food options. Food variety was great. Would highly recommend as a way to experience Saigon.

Incredible tour, excellent hosts, awesome time! Our guides Duy Anh (Tony) and Trinh took my husband and I all over Saigon and helped us explore places we never would have ventured on our own. We ate more than I ever could have imagined and it was all delicious (though I think the octopus was my favourite)! I’ve never felt so safe on the back of a scooter - I ended up enjoying the ride as much as the food! Each stop offered a different vibe and a new perspective on this beautiful city. Can’t recommend this tour or our guides highly enough!

Had a great time on this tour! Can't decide what was better the food or our tour guides!! Every stop on the tour had a unique vibe and truly felt like we were dining with the local people! Our guides Tony and Trinh were both very informative and excellent drivers. My wife and I were both a little nervous about being on the back of the bikes in such a busy city, but before we even reached the first stop of the tour we were both comfortable and having a great time!! By the end of the tour neither of us could eat anymore food which was all excellent, and things we never would have tried on our own. This tour was definitely a highlight of Saigon for us and would recommend to anyone visiting the city for the first time or the hundredth time!!

Timmy knows all the spots with the best food and best stories. His knowledge of the city is better than that of any other guide I have used. He is a great guy with a great staff and their focus on the customer is impeccable.

This is our first trip to Vietnam and after watching a Youtube video (by Int Affair) we thought it would be a great introduction to the food scene. We booked on their website at home and took the trip on our second full day. We were not disappointed! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone - we’re in our sixties and had great fun. Yes the traffic is crazy, yes you might not have any experience of being a pillion passenger (we didn’t), but as the evening progressed I found myself looking forward to the ride to the next stop. The food was delicious and the guides very knowledgeable. We eat in places that I would have found difficult to manage as a tourist and, as a result, eat dishes I wouldn’t have known how to order. Thanks Tony, Niki, Tom and Belle, you gave us an unforgettable experience.

Tony and the team really went above and beyond to show us the best food of their home town! Five separate restaurants, with exhilarating scooter rides between them all. The evening was very well organized, the rides were safe, the food was delicious, and the conversation was fun!

A great tour for regular food tour takers (ample food, great variety, flexible choices), folks who'd like a feel for a city where there happens to be food (knowledgeable guide, doesn't feel rushed, lots of personal anecdotes), and/or people looking for a deeper dive into the nuances of a cuisine (off-the-beaten-track places, dishes that go beyond the "basics", lots of background into what we were eating). The Seafood Tour with Vu, Trinh, and Noah was fantastic in that it ticked the boxes for a group as varied as mine. I was very interested in the food and really appreciated the fact that this was focused on a specific slice of Vietnamese cuisine and food culture. Vu went beyond just explaining dishes but contextualized it in the broader food scene and even regional nuances. My dad will eat anything you put in front of him but is keenly interested in politics and history which Vu handled with ease so as to make conversations engaging but still fit for the dinner table. And my mom was willing to skip all tours in HCM that involved scooters but by the end was absolutely beaming after being safely whisked through traffic. So yes go on the tour if you'd like to go beyond the basics of Vietnamese cuisine (Vu has other tours for that as well!). But also go because, and at the risk of oversimplifying it, you get to ride around the city enjoying great seafood and cold beers just as the locals do. In a way this tour feels more like finally visiting friends in their hometown rather than an explicitly touristy activity. Seeing as we didn't get to eat everything on the menu, would definitely book this tour again!

What an amazing food tour! Tony took us on insightful, interesting and most importantly delicious tour through Saigon. He showed us places outside of the main tourist areas in Saigon and provided so much great information about the history and culture of a crazy city. Tony was friendly, funny and charismatic, making the tour so engaging and enjoyable. Couldnt recommend it enough! PS: going on the back of the scooter was one of my favourite parts.

Hands down you have to do a food tour with Saigon street eats if you come to HCMC. The tour exceeded our expectations. I booked the tour online through their website and I quickly got a confirmation via email. The guide Tony was incredible, spoke excellent English and ensured that our dietary needs were accommodated during the tour. I have to say the food was amazing and the vesper driver that took me around Saigon was so polite. I learnt so much about Vietnamese food, history, what to look for when picking a place to eat in Vietnam and culture during this tour. If this is your first time to Vietnam or you want to do a food tour in Saigon you should book with Saigon street eats <3.

From the pickup at the hotel until drop off, the Saigon Street Eats Tour was an absolute delight! The team are super efficient and knowledgeable and will make you feel welcome, help you through the food experience and see to your every need along the way. Niki was my designated driver for the evening. She explains how to be at ease on the motorbike while she navigates like melted chocolate through the chaotic traffic of Saigon. I think Niki was born on the seat of a bike! Enjoy traveling from one district to another eating some of the best food you'll ever taste in Vietnam. All washed down with some cold beers, great conversations and a cultural history lesson from Toni, a very well versed individual on the historic food culture of Vietnam, although as self professed, not much of a cook because his mum is an amazing cook. What a lucky guy!! Don't ever visit Saigon without booking a street food tour with SAIGON STREET EATS!!!!

If you’re a foodie like me, this is a must do in HCMC! This particular food tour is focused on seafood, in particular shellfish. I have tried a number of food tours around the world and this has been among my favourites. We tasted 15 dishes a various places. All of high quality and great flavour. I you want to try local food that is not banh mi of pho, this is for you. Our guides Niki and Tony were the best. So sweet and helpful and provided great input not only to the food scene but HCMH in general. We were on the back of scooters and they drove very safe. All in all this is a must do! This was a great tour! A must do in HCMC. Our tour guide were awesome! Tony, Niki, and Yen zipped us around the local neighborhood street vendors for great food! All in the back of a scooter a bit of hood history and just an overall great time. what a cool experience. Highly recommend.

We opted for the fun way-on scooters. Vu was our guide and did an amazing job taking care of us. His team were fabulous and we enjoyed all the places we went. We felt very comfortable with the team and got a true experience where locals ate. Totally recommend this!

We got to try essential Saigon street food of great quality, and found new favorite dishes ;) The tour is also very informative. Tony is a great guide and will make sure you'll know your way around Vietnamese food culture. The organization is superb. You are taken care of at every point. You will go to different districts by motorbike. This sounds scary, but trust your driver and enjoy the ride! This is such a fun part of the tour, especially going around Saigon in the evening when the city lights up, truly a magical sight and where the charm of Saigon comes through. All the food was incredible, made sure to have vegetarian options at every place for one as well 🤤 Cannot recommend enough, if you can do this at the start of your time in HCMC as they will give great tips for the city and help make get you comfortable with the city! Fantastic drivers, felt very safe on the back of the Scooter as well ☺️
