It was such a thrilling experience! My guide was knowledgeable and shared interesting facts with our group. I love the fact that it was raining; it added an extra layer of adventure:).

This was an AMAZING trip! Even though I went in January and it was cold, the staff provided us with a suit to go over our clothes and extra gloves...... I was in awe the whole time! We saw more sea eagles than I could count, a salmon farm, as well as Trollfjorden. Our guide was quite knowledgable about the history of this region and described the famous Battle of Trollfjord in 1890 between local fisherman and steam ship operators over the rights to fish. As a history teacher - This was fascinating. I was traveling alone, so I joined a larger group of people traveling together. It was a perfect 2 hours. If you do attend as a group - I recommend splitting up between 2 boats bc then you can take photos of your friends inside the boat with the scenary .... and they of you! I would have liked this but managed a decent selfie! Thanks so much for a wonderful day to remember always!

I did the morning kayak on one day and the sea eagle safari the next day with a tour group. Both were excellent activities and a couple of hours a piece. On the kayak tour, our guide, Toby was great at explaining a little of the history of the area and pointing out fish, starfish, sea urchins, fisherman's wife statue and other key areas. We lucked out with weather and although a little cloudy, the water was calm and incredibly clear. The eagle safari felt like an episode of 'Miami Vice' as you zip along in rubberized rafts/boats as you encounter several eagles and tremendous scenery. Very knowledgeable guide and well worth the visits.

Wonderful experience. Great family based company. Fast RIB ride through amazing scenery. We saw more sea eagles than we could count. Several companies offer a similar experience but Go2Lofoten is the best value

This was an amazing experience on the RIB as they called it. We were provided with gear to keep us warm & dry from the sprays etc plus safety gear. We are generally not great sea travellers but this trip was smooth & had the opportunity to see the sea eagles being fed. The scenes were tranquil & our skipper Tina was incredible with smooth sailin. Her stories were relevant as we learnt about Norwegian & Svolvaer history. Highly recommend it. Ofcourse the weather was amazing. Booking was made with go2lofoten directly at Svolvaer

A great boat tour that offered both a chance to see the sea eagles but also an opportunity to see plenty of wonderful mountain and fjord sceneries.

Highly recommend XXLofoten not only for the amazing Sea Eagle tours they give with experienced skippers and top-quality boats, but also because of their excellent support and customer service. I worked with them for many months, from a scout trip, to our actual adventure trip last month with a large group of travelers. My needs were complex including multiple tour guides and drivers, access and transportation; XXLofoten delivered on all fronts. My point of contact, Marilell, was absolutely wonderful from start to finish with helping me fulfill our photographic needs, as was Geir and Frank. Looking forward to a return visit to work together again!

Awesome experience to get to see the sea eagles so close. And a trip with a beautiful view of the mountains and Trollfjorden. Super nice guide who would tell different things throughout the trip, and happy to answer any questions.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip..and sea eagles very close by in various locations. We were lucky to be going in just one boat and our skipper was lovely.

Great tour! Saw a lot of sea eagles from close distance. Our gide, Aspen, told us about the region and gave background and historical information about the fjords and eagles. Tip for photographers: Used my 70-200mm lens and worked great. Eagles often approach the boat within meters. Range of 70-200mm is great!

You can book online or at the desk in Solvaer, the guys are really nice and helpful Once you get there you are given full equipment so you don’t get cold The ride is breathtaking but in full security and is wonderful to see the islands from the sea. Your skipper/guide tells about Lofoten history so you can get to know about fishermen of the past

Incredible boat ride to Trollfjorden. We saw so many sea eagles (white-tailed eagles)! They were visible in a few different spots, and right up next to us. We had a clear day. The suits and gloves are warm, but I did wear a coat underneath it and would suggest it, maybe personal gloves as well.

We thought this was great tourism. Of course it's fun to go on the RIB boat but it has to be about more than that and it was. I didn't imagine that we would get within a few feet of the Sea Eagles but we did, as they took the frozen herring from the water and other opportunistic but rather foolhardy seagulls. Their size, strength and grace were awe inspiring and everyone got memorable photos. The guide offered lots of interesting and often surprising information about them and Norwegian culture and it was all done with great humour. The three children with another family on our trip were transfixed as were we. A tip is to dress warmly even though you get a survival suit and also expect to have to wear large anti-wind goggles. They do fit over most glasses but if you have contact lenses they would be better.

This was a truly incredible trip, where white-tailed eagles with eight-foot wing spans fly right over and around your boat, while the captain throws them fish and the eagles fight with the seagulls to grab the fish right out of the air or water. The ride around the bay and up the Trollfjord was also gripping (literally!) and spectacular, as the specially configured boat bounces happily over the waves. In addition, the customer service in the company office adjacent to the docks was terrific, and the friendly staff helps you get outfitted in special water-resistant suits, boots and goggles for the two-hour tour. If you love nature and wildlife, this is a must-do experience!

It was freezing but absolutely amazing to see these eagles in such close proximity. We were blown away by what we saw! Sweet guides who were caring and fun.
