We had the most amazing time! The crew, the food, and the sunset were incredible. It was the highlight of our trip in Santorini.

This was such an amazing experience having our own catamaran for the day: we had Jonas as our captain and George as our chef. Both were amazing and took great care of us to ensure we had the best time.

Amazing views of the Fira, Black, Red and White beaches. Oia looks like a snow capped mountains from the water. Refreshing swim and great friendly crew. Crank up your fav music from your phone and enjoy.

Amazing experience in beautiful location! They give you a tour of the different locations before posting up in a cove for a few hours to eat and relax. Would highly recommend!

Tanos and George were PERFECT!! ABSOLUTELY loved our experience So kind and accommodating. They attended to our every need and want. It was windy when we went and Tanos and George made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The views and sunset were breathtaking . THIS is the CRUISE YOU WANT TO TAKE WHEN ON Santorini it's a must for your trip here. Absolutely wonderful. An experience of a lifetime made so much better by Tanos and George. The only way to go!!!

The half-day private catamaran sunset cruise we did with Sail Away was the best part of our honeymoon in Santorini. Top-notch service on all counts, and we really appreciate that transfer service was included in to our hotel in Oia. We were able to cruise all around the caldera, see the beaches on the south side of the island, swim/snorkel for a bit, and the captain gave us suggestions to make the most of our experience. The meal we had for dinner was delicious, and we were able to relax on the bow the entire cruise. Cannot recommend enough, there are several vendors in Santorini that provide this type of experience but I am so happy we went with Sail Away. Extremely friendly/professional to work with and would recommend to anyone!

Our guides were fantastic. They gave us options on where they could take us, let us know what to avoid, and spent time at the best "spots". The onboard meal was nothing short of wonderful. All of us enjoyed it tremendously!

Amazing boat trip! Our captain and first mate were so nice. They took us to very scenic places around Santorini island. They also cooked us the most amazing lunch! We stopped the boat a few times so we could snorkel, swim, and see some beaches along the coast. It was a great trip!

Our group of 8 (yes 8!) opted for the half-day tour, and we were left in awe by the experience that the crew aboard the catamaran had just delivered to us. The entire crew (Capt. Tzannes, Sailor Manu, and Chef George) was so professional and took such great care of us, treating us as if we were their own. Most importantly, they were all so incredibly kind on top of being extremely attentive and welcoming, making it very clear from the get-go that their goal was to ensure that we would have nothing shy of an incredible time. THEY. DELIVERED! The catamaran was exceptionally clean, and the crew went above and beyond to ensure we had a truly luxurious experience. Not once did any of us have an empty beverage cup, not once was the restroom/toilet ever not tended to and cleaned, after every individual use might I add, and not once afterward did we think twice about whether the decision to go with Sail Away Santorini Catamaran Sailing was the right choice. We loved that transportation, both to and from the catamaran, was arranged for us, sparing us from having to navigate the roads of Santorini. We were blown away by the food George prepared for us that afternoon - not to mention the sheer amount which fed all (hungry) eight of us sufficiently! Hands down, the food that we ate during the Catamaran trip was one of the best meals we had the pleasure of devouring during our entire 10-day tour of Greece. The ingredients were both simple and fresh, and the flavors robust and savory. George served up a Greek-style rice pilaf with hearty portions of Greek-style chicken slathered in a yummy mustard sauce, mussels served in a citrusy-pepper sauce, and shrimp drenched in a delicious butter sauce served alongside a packed tray of deliciously seasoned grilled vegetables; and there was plenty of wine and an assortment of beverages to wash it all down with! We opted for the single-stop during the sailing trip so that we could enjoy more time at one destination, and we were so happy that we did. At no point did this experience feel rushed, and Captain Tzannes gave us ample time at every site location for photo opportunities. I/we can't recommend this group and experience enough! We are grateful for the crew and the experience they provided us - they helped craft and foster one of the most memorable experiences of our trip, and we can't thank them and Sail Away Santorini Catamaran Sailing enough! Captain Janus and George were fantastic! Highly recommend. The boat was clean, crew professional and friendly and we were well taken care of. Our Travel Agent (Dorcas Travel - top notch, also HIGHLY recommend) booked this trip for us and Peter, the company owner along with Captain Janus and George all took great care of us. The experience was seamless and a great way to enjoy Santorini from the sea. DO IT!!!!

Great ship, great crew. Everyone was extremely friendly and since it’s a custom tour you are able to adapt the route to what you’re looking for (more sightseeing v. swimming, for instance). Drive to/from hotel included and was a great plus. Worth it to see some of the best sights on the island!

It was a 5 hours dream with Peter, Mano, George and Jano. Since the beginning we were at ease with all the explanations regarding what we could do, ask to the crew...We had the choice to either be on our own or get some explanations from the crew. Always on purpose the explanations gave us a lot of details regarding the history and the anecdotes because we were asking for it. Impossible to be hungry or thirsty, the crew members were asking / pushing us to order things even if all was included. At the end of the cruise George made us a very good greek diner. We were two, I think ten people could have eaten ! We will remember it and the 4 sailors for a long time.

Such a great experience from scheduling and booking with Markella, to the shuttle service in luxurious vans, to being greeted by the owner and lastly to the captain and crew who went above and beyond to make sure all 16 of us were happy at all times. They bbq fresh on the catamaran and the food is just superb. The value is the best you will find and you should not hesitate to book or else you'll be sorry. I basically did the hard work already for you. I was lucky enough that I waited too long to book another company and they ended up being booked for the day I needed. I then basically looked around and found this gem. I'm telling you, don't hesitate. Have fun!

We just got off the cruise a few hours ago but we had such a good time I needed to write this as soon as possible. First, I arranged the cruise with Peter and the whole way through he was extremely kind and welcoming. We did the half day private sunset cruise and magical does not even begin to describe our experience. Theo and Harris took care of us and managed to give us exactly whatever we wanted even when we didn’t know we wanted it! Drinks, little facts about the island. We would be looking at something on the rocks and asking ourselves what it was then all of a sudden Theo appeared and started telling us all about it and trust me he’s clairvoyant because he definitely couldn’t hear us. They were both all smiles all the time. We skipped all the busy locations where the huge party/semi private cruises had stopped in packs of ten or twenty to offload people for a swim and went to a beautiful secluded area next to the caldera. We were so lucky because it turns out Theo worked on the semi private cruises and knows their routes so he expertly avoided them for us because really who wants to listen to baby got back in the middle of the Aegean ocean watching a beautiful sunset over the age of 21. And then on top of everything, the food was phenomenal! I seriously couldn’t have asked for anything more. Everything was perfect. My only regret is we didn’t do it sooner and we don’t have enough time here to do it again. Thank you guys for an unforgettable day!

The crew was so pleasent and the swim at the Red beach was awesome. Love the seafood and traditional food.

Fantastic trip. Peter and his crew were great hosts. Would definitely recommend. The sunset was spectacular. Food was great and plentiful.

This was the highlight of our Santorini trip aside from our amazing Airbnb. George was punctual picking us up at our location in an air-conditioned minibus. Anastasia and Harris made this excursion totally worth it. They were knowledgeable, kind and attentive to whatever we ‘thought’ before even requesting (mind readers?? Lol) and asked if we wanted to play our own music leveraging Bluetooth. My husband went ‘live’ on Facebook while we were on board, so that says something about the WiFi! Swimming at red beach, swimming by the non-active volcano- two of us saw jellyfish swimming while snorkeling, dinner was perfect, and the unlimited water, beer, and wine was the icing on the cake! We had a party of 6 and the boat all to ourselves (versus other boats we saw on the water with several different parties). We highly recommend this specific private catamaran! Crew makes a difference and if you’re wondering if the cost is worth it for a private catamaran versus a shared one- IT IS WORTH IT! 😁
