Our experience was excellent. Captain Mike and First Mate Elia are consummate hosts. They filled us with knowledge of the history and geology of the Caldera. They put us on fish, from which they prepared a very fine meal. In all, a perfect day on the water.

If you’re traveling to Santorini and don’t go on this tour, you’re definitely missing out. I’m so thankful I found their tour. This was an unreal experience that we'll never forget. I could go on and on about this trip. The Captain Makis and llias were incredibly genuine people that shared so many stories and similarities with us. The captain made homemade dishes for us, grilled the grouper and the mackeral was made into the best ceviche, maybe even the best meal, we've ever had. We're so grateful to have been with them on the boat. It's hard to describe in words just how amazing this was. The boat itself was one-of-a-kind too. I hope to come back again one day and see them again.

The guides were amazing! They made this trip so much more than fishing. We did manage to snag a grouper! It was a bit cold and windy and they made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Lots of great drink and stories about the island. It’s a great mix of fishing and a tour by boat of the island. The BBQ was perfect, the captain is a hell of a cook and was one of our favorite meals during our stay. They know how to bring great energy and we were jamming music and having a blast. We also got to post up at a prime spot to watch the infamous Oia sunset before heading it. I’d absolutely recommend this excursion to anyone! Great team!

We stayed on Santorini several days and had a few activities planned. This was definitely a highlight. Our hotel (Anastassis Apartments) actually booked this for us. Mikes and Elias were amazing guides and hosts. They provided transportation to and from our hotel which took the worry away of how to get there, timing and parking. The boat is gorgeous and immaculate. We had so much fun cruising, snorkeling and swimming and I caught a barracuda! They provide everything. They prepared us a fabulous meal doing a Greek barbecue. Then we made our way back to Ammoudi Bay and watched the sunset. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

I went on a tour with the these guys and it was such an amazing day! Everything was perfect, with the combination of history knowledge, local fishing experience, chef quality food and two legends it was hard to not have the best day of my whole Greece trip. Later that day I cooked up some of the tuna that had been filleted seconds from being caught when we where out, it was some of the best fish I’ve ever cooked. Literally cannot recommend them enough, get on it!! Thanks again boys! 👌

The trip was amazing, Elias & Captain Makis made us feel comfortable and were both fantastic throughout the trip. The views from the boat are something else, dreamy. We caught two fish, both Sea Bream which my partner was able to reel in both. The food was so tasty homemade & traditional. The ceviche was unbelievable. We were able to snorkel in a cove, so we were able to see the ship wrecks underneath and lots of fishes! Would recommend this trip to anyone. Highlight of our Santorini trip! Elias and Mikis were fun and knowledgable. The food was delicious. Our family (kids ages 11,11,13) had a fantastic time.

Our group of 10 people, family and close friends went out with Capt. Mikis and first mate Elias for a morning 5 hour cruise. We wanted to go to areas that the normal tours don’t go and the Captain delivered. Both Mikis and Elias were very easy to talk with and very informative about the area. The Captain has lived in this area his entire life. They set up some poles and trolled while we toured to catch our lunch and were successful. Mikis cooked us a meal right on the boat with some of the food prepared priority from his own family garden. It was phenomenal. He took us so close to areas you could touch with your hands. We stopped for some swim and snorkeling. If you’re a snorkel enthusiast don’t expect to see a ton but we did get to see a couple sunken boats in this crystal clear water. It was an awesome day on the water and boat. We did a private tour the day prior which was good as well but Captain Mikis delivered on his promise of a unique experience. I highly recommend The Pirate as choice you won’t be disappointed with.

All that we hoped a fishing charter in beautiful Santorini would be! Makis & Ilias (sorry about spelling) are an incredible pair - Captain Makis finds the fish and navigating the Islands, reefs and coves while Ilias gives us an incredible history lesson on all things Santorini. We were lucky enough to catch a few fish and then the crew cooked them on the boat with an incredible homemade lunch. Captain Makis’ boat is beautiful and very comfortable. The time flew bye and I definitely recommend booking with Pirate tours.

During our 3 week honeymoon, this was the highlight! The secluded snorkeling, catching some Bluefin Tuna, and the amazing dinner on board was all so incredible. Do not hesitate to book this. The crew, the new boat, the drinks...they won't let you down!

Magical afternoon on the water. We went swimming in a hot spring, snorkeling in the bluest of waters, and learned a lot about Santorini and its neighboring islands. Captain Mikee and Hlias (spelling?!) cooked us a delicious meal made with the freshest ingredients—even tomato fritters made from delicious cherry tomatoes from a local farm. By far our best day in Santorini.

Captain Makis and Elias are really nice people, always entertaining and finding the best place to swim, we spent a marvelous time with fishing, eating the catch of the day, swimming, relaxing, sightseeing and just having fun! Best cook! Great cruise, beautiful point of views from Santorini and the volcano! Thank you both !

We had an amazing, memorable day. Micas and Elias could not have been a better team. The small fishing boat allowed us to get up close to rock formations and into small bays. The boat had great canopy/sun protection while we learned about the island, the volcano, and sea. We swam and snorkeled in crystal clear lagoons and took in amazing views. We caught a yellow fin tuna and barracuda . The lunch was delicious. Freshest tuna ceviche ever. Yummy tomato fritters/ salad / meatballs and drinks. This was a great experience.

This is a fabulous charter and made our trip to Greece extra special. We caught huge fish, had a perfect lunch with fresh vegetables from the captain’s garden and the fish caught, saw the coast, and swam. We snorkeled and loved swimming. The captain and crew are amazing people.. perfect way to experience Greece! We have already recommended to friends as a must for Santorini!
