Knowledge of the tour guide was extremely interesting plus he added quite a bit of humor to make the trip more enjoyable.

We had a great time with our amazing tour guide, Mary! She is vibrant, energetic, and so knowledgeable. We saw the entire island, the ruins, went to the best locations for photos and shops, and had lunch at a beautiful seafood restaurant right on the black sand beach. We learned so much and came home with souvenirs and fond memories.

We had booked the group tour and die to it being off season, we got so lucky to have King George all to ourselves. He showed us the most fantastic day. We spent 6 hours together and he brought this village to life through his incredible stories. He played great music in his comfortable Mercedes. He took us to a yummy fresh fish lunch on red beach, to his local yummy bakery in his town, and was our personal photographer all day long. We felt like we had paparazzi making us feel so famous. Our photos are spectacular.

So happy we booked this tour! Mary was absolutely amazing, great personality and so knowledgeable about the island and its history. We hit all of the “picture” perfect locations and learned so much about Greek culture at the same time. Request Mary as your tour guide and Arturo as your driver if you can!

My son and I took a tour of Santorini mid December. As it was the off season, the place was almost empty of tourists. Yet, because there were no other people taking the group tour, we had the tour all to ourselves, so really we ended up getting a private tour! Mary, our tour guide, was exceptional. She knew so much history and it was really interesting! She also knew all the sites where popular pictures are taken, so that we would not be disappointed with our pictures when we got home. Also, because there were no tourists on our walkabout, we didn't have any tourists in our pictures! Only the businesses supporting the locals were open, which suited us just fine. We were still able to get souvenirs from the locals that were selling their own wares, which made it even more authentic of a trip. And I would much rather support the locals than companies that come from off the island just to sell to tourists! We ended our day with Mary at an authentic restaurant for a late lunch, which she recommended. The food was fantastic. The restaurants that are still open off season are those the locals attend, so you know they are good! We had a very nice relaxed day. Our driver, Arturos, was also fantastic: safe, attentive, and flexible for our tour.

On a cursory examination, Santorini has got the same, standard features that the multitude of other Greek Aegean Islands have got – all-white dwellings with blue domed-roofs and dashes of colour, no shortage of small churches, the requisite beasts of burden (ie, donkeys), quaint shops, but something seems to elevate Fira and Santorini in the tourist-attracting stakes. I think it must be that incredible, unrivalled setting of the island. As you approach it from the cruisers you get a fantastic view of the high cliff-face—rugged cliffs given their uniquely distinctive appearance by volcanic eruptions in antiquity—and then when air-lifted up to the top you find this charming little picture-perfect town you can’t wait to explore.

Mary, our tour guide, was awesome. Because the island was starting to close down, the tour turned into a private one because it was just 2 couples. We toured the entire island. What a great experience.

This was a great tour for a few reasons. The group was small (about 12) and the guide and driver efficiently moved us in a clean. air conditioned and comfortable van, through large crowds in Fira town and Oia to see the main sites and take photos. You can't really say you've been to Santorini if you don't have pictures in front of the iconic churches and blue domes. Once that frenzy of crowds was out of our system, we enjoyed a gelato break, and a peaceful ride further up into the hills of Santorini to visit a monastery and then enjoyed an excellent meal with our group, on the beach at a beautiful seaside restaurant. The meal and service were excellent and it was a nice way to meet others who were on our ship. I'm very glad we got out of the hustle and bustle of the busy towns to enjoy the rest of the island. There was more time to visit Fira Town on our return, but we had seen enough and took the donkey path back down to the tender on foot. It's an easy 15-20 minute downhill walk and way less tiring than standing in line for 2 hours for the funicular tram.

There's no one else I'd recommend more than Fotios for a tour of Santorini! We had the most incredible time - Fotios was very knowledgeable and so much fun to spend the day with - he took wonderful photos of my husband and I, and knew all the best spots to stop for the best views, and seems to truly love what he does. Do yourself a favor and book the tour with him, you won't regret it and you'll get to see all the best places on this beautiful island!

The tour and was interesting and took us to some interesting spots with some terrific views. Unfortunately we were never taken to the wine tastings, nor was it offered.

We had a private tour. Fotios Tsevas was very nice and accomodating. Went to places that were not crowded with other tourists.

An amazing day we had on this half day tour. The guide and driver were so patient with us, and offered very insightful knowledge and history of the area. The guide also offered great tips and locations to visit, as well as recommended sites and locations that we requested (of interest to us). We requested an art experience, with wine, and the offering was a beautiful Art Gallery Winery - so amazing! Tips - listen to the guide, they know best. Our guide was able to recommend appropriate times for visiting etc. So we had little wait for perfect photo opportunities and popular sites.

Fotios Tsevas was our tour guide and driver for our private tour of Santorini and he was a referral and did not disappoint. He gave us the history of the island, took us to areas where we obtain beautiful photos, we laughed and listen to the best R&B music. He was caring , concerned and patient with my brother who has some challenges with mobility. My brother said it was the highlight of the trip.
