Victor gave us an excellent 1hr tour of the vineyard followed by a 4-wine tasting and cheese. His English was great and he was very happy to answer all of our questions. The tour was private just for the two of us so felt very special. The old house the vineyard is built around is beautiful with lovely gardens. We had a delicious lunch on the terrace. And of course the wine was delicious! Very glad we were able to add this tour to our time in Santiago - many thanks Victor!

We took the regular tour at Vina Santa Rita and it was excellent. Our guide Josefa (apologies if I'm misspelling) was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Her English was excellent. The tour included part of the vineyards, the history of the winery, and the production facilities, then a fun and informative tasting. We live in a wine region in California and I have to say Josefa's tour was better than any we've done here in recent years.

Enjoyed our time at Viña Santa Rita! The highlight was definitely the wine and cheese tasting with Victor. Excellent wines and facts about the origin of Carmenere. The rest of the tour was so-so. Would have enjoyed seeing more of the grounds/having a photo opportunity for our group outside. But good for a nice half day excursion outside of Santiago. Easy to take Uber there and back.

Very unprofessional . No communication among team members . No welcome and no signage . Very basic tour and very basic wine tasting experience. Lunch experience far far from the Santa Rita reputation.

The tour was great and Max looked after us very well. But getting to the vineyard was very difficult because of the out-of-date information on your website. We took the metro from Santiago to Las Mercedes. This worked well. But the bus MB81 you recommend on your website never turned up and after waiting an hour, we had to take a taxi, which was very expensive. The frequency of buses (every 30 minutes according to your webite) dates back to pre-covid days. Now there are apparently only 3 buses per day, one at 8am and 2 in the afternoon, which makes this method impractical for the late morning tour in English. The journey took us 2.5 hours from central Santiago. But for the return journey, 2 of your very sweet straff,father and son waiters at your hotel,stopped and gave us a lift to Buin (10 minutes by car) and the train from Buin to Santiago Central train Station took onlyabout 35 minutes.This cost us a fraction of the journey to the vineyard and much less time too :) The connection between Buin Station and the vineyard would need regular servicing; perhaps the vineyard would like to offer visitors the opportunity to book a shuttle for a small fee when they book the tour? This would make the vineyard more accessible and less costly to visit, and generate more income for the vineyard too. A win, win scenario :). We love your wine and your vineyard and your guide. But you must improve the information on your website or you will lose customers.

We had a fabulous time at Santa Rita winery and would wholeheartedly recommend the tour to others. You can easily spend a day here! We opted for the Selection Tour in English (around £28 pp) and ended up being the only ones, so we effectively got a private tour! Our guide (I don't recall her name) was a new member of the team but was already very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She answered all our questions and gave us excellent information on all aspects of the winery from harvesting to bottling. But of course the taste testing was the highlight! We tried four delicious wines, one white and three red, each better than the last. The wine was accompanied by some cheese, crackers, dried fruits and nuts, a portion per person. The setting for the tasting was superb; a peaceful and beautiful ground floor veranda over looking the French garden in the sunshine, simply stunning. Once we had finished we weren't rushed or hurried, but we're taken to the gift shop to see if we wanted anything. Again we didn't feel pressured to buy but did grab a bottle for home! We also received a complimentary wine glass each to take with us! In addition, we opted for the picnic (approx £23pp) and I'd say this was worth it. We each received a substantial ham, cheese and salad sandwich, plus bottles of water, a midi bottle of red and white wine, mini macaroons and a gorgeous charcuterie board. It was really lovely to sit in the grounds of the winery on a blanket eating our lunch (even if this was slightly spoiled by a grumpy jobsworth telling us we had to move to eat our picnic out of sight...despite buying the picnic from the winery!!) If you're considering booking a tour here I'd say do it. There are varying levels of tour you can take, from the standard to a more personalised winemaker tour; there are options for all budgets and requirements. They really have their sh*t together, know what they're doing and are professional, helpful, and attentive, and they allowed us to enjoy a wonderful day out with no issues.

Excellent tour of the beautiful Santa Rita Winery with Rima - a very knowledgable wine expert from Mongolia. Had a great time. The wine was amazing - both the reds and the Sauvignon Blanc. Learned a lot of new things about wine, Chile and Mongolia. Thanks again for the wonderful tour Rima!

This tour is worth leaving Santiago and going out into the countryside, which from downtown is less than an hour away. With its location against the hills, classic architecture and fine wines this place is an authentic experience that gives enhances one's understanding of another aspect of Chilean culture. Our guide Victoria was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and absolutely charming. The pacing of the tour was perfect and was interesting even on a Sunday when the main plant is not working. I highly recommend this tour.

The greatest thing to do on a hot Thursday afternoon. Catalina, our guide, was friendly, peronable and extremely informative. A wondeful experience with delicious wine to top it off.

Having done wine tasting in the past in Paris, France and Santa Yenez Valley, California, I must admit that the tour of Santa Rita in Chile was by far the best. The English speaking guide was very passionate and gave us so many details of the vineyard - its History, the process of Wine Making and some fun facts and to top it , was very humorous too. The Wines taste awesome here - we tasted the Carmenere, 120 Cab and the Triple C which is a blend of Cab. Franc, Cab. Sauvignon and Carmenere. Good Restaurant in the 1000 Acres campus and a amazing visit!

We had a fantastic tour in English with Victor as our guide. He was extremely informative, and there was a great wine tasting experience at the end. The wines were all good, although very different, and we bought some to take home at the gift shop. They also have lovely moisturizing lotions, made from the grape seeds and skins of either Sauvignon blanc or Cabernet Sauvignon. They both smell divine. The grounds are beautiful, there is a lovely looking restaurant although we did not eat there. We visited the amazing museum and had a snack at the excellent cafeteria, sitting on the terrace in the sunshine.

Our guide, Catalina, provided an informative (English) tour including tasing of great wines. She was the most knowledgable and personable of all the tours we have had! We also had a light lunch in the cafe La Panaderia, sandwiches were made to order and great. The museum on the property is amazing, be sure to allow enough time to view the vast collection and its gift shop.

El lugar es precioso y el recorrido bien explicado, la cata de vinos es un súper plan. Lo único que habría por mejorar es que si vas a un viñedo esperarías que te paseen por él y que te expliquen desde el cultivo de las semillas hasta el vino, pues queda ese sin sabor, porque el tour es mas para conocer la hacienda. De resto recomendado.

Fui a conocer la viña con mi familia Francesa y realmente es un tour muy entretenido, Karina la guía se esmeró por entregar la información del proceso y lugar. La viña muy cuidada en lo visual, lugares amplios y con buenas instalaciones. Además, un museo muy lindo y tienda de productos de alta calidad. Muchas gracias por la experiencia y momento especial.

Todo el entorno, la historia, los vinos, el restaurante te entregan una jornada realmente interesante, y de conocimiento. No puedo dejar pasar la oportunidad de comentar los exquisitos vinos que degustamos, de la variedad de vinos que puedes llevarte a casa, pero lo más importante es toda la historia que viene de la mano con tan buenos Mostos. Más recomendable que un Concha y toro, la atención es buenísima. Altamente recomendable Felicitaciones !!!!

A degustação de vinhos foi o ponto alto, não apenas pelos vinhos, mas pelas explicações, que foram muito mais interessantes que as obtidas durante uma visita feita a outra vinícola famosa.
