Beautiful grounds, incredibly lovely home and extremely talented dog and handler finding truffles all along the forest floor. Lunch was superb with pasta and truffles the owners own Chianti and olive oil then to a winery/ olive oil refinery. Everything was perfect ! Stop on the way back at Piazzle Michelangelo for a photo op over the beautiful city of Florence

The entire tour was purely amazing. It was by far our best day in Italy because of Matteo (our guide) and Francesca (truffle hunter). Matteo was more than our guide because he was a friend who taught us about the history and culture of Tuscany. Furthermore, he talked about all the background of every wine, its flavor and how to truly appreciate wine and truffles. We felt so comfortable with him because he's so easy to be with. The tour was an experience of a lifetime. From meeting Choco (hunting dog) to the actual hunting, to having lunch, there are no words to describe. Everything was so perfect and intimate. We highly recommend this tour and Truffle Hunter. You won't regret it.

Highlight so far of our trip to Tuscany. We met with our truffle hunting dog Jeo and the master truffle hunter Massimo and walked the woods at one of his favorite spots. It was very relaxing walking in nature, learning about truffles and foraging for food. There were just about to flower wild strawberry, blackberry and asparagus plants. And we were lucky enough ( well Jeo was able to find ) 4 spring white truffles ti use in our lunch after getting back to their house were his sister gave us a cooking lesson on how to incorporate truffles into food. A wonderful day was had by all

The tour was fantastic. We were welcomed into Francesca’s family home and she led us on the truffle hunt experience with Chaco. She did a great job explaining the various types of truffles and then made an amazing lunch with our finds. I would highly recommend.

Honestly, I do not write reviews often. That being said, you can’t visit Tuscany and not do this tour. It was such an incredible experience. Francesca is awesome, friendly, and super welcoming to her family’s estate. We happen to find two black truffles and two white winter truffles. We also found some white asparagus as well. Back at the house, Francesca and her mother made my girlfriend and I some delicious dishes using both the truffles and asparagus. After our meal they both presented my girlfriend with a piece of birthday cake with a candle and sang to her. It could have not gone any better. The food was amazing and fresh, their wine is delicious, and the estate is absolutely beautiful. It was one of the biggest highlights of our trip.

Francesca and her dog, Ciocco, gave us an amazing truffle hunting experience! It was so educational and genuine and Ciocco did indeed find success that day in finding the amazing winter white truffles. Francesca and her family made us a fantastic lunch (featuring of course the winter white truffle) of crostini, Zuppa di zucca,tagliatelle, and biscotti. To make the meal even more fantastic, each course was accompanied by "truffled" condiments and locally made wine and Vin Santo.....all available to purchase when you were done with your event. We did a truffle hunt and wine tasting with Hilary while on our honeymoon and it was the highlight of our trip! We met up with Francesca and followed one of their truffle hunting dogs, Walter, and had a successful hike where we found several truffles. The lunch that was served afterward that featured their truffles and truffle products was fantastic. Hilary then took us to a wine tasting. As a sommelier, she was able to teach us about the regional wines and made the experience both fun and informative. This experience was the highlight of our trip!

Awesome experience truffle hunting in the woods with an amazing lunch and wine prepared after! IFrancesca is a wonderful and knowledgable guide and her adorable pup Choco is an expert truffle hunter. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the experience. If you have any time available on your trip and enjoy truffles, make the drive out to San Miniato. We highly recommend booking this experience!

I'd give this truffle hunt and cooking class six stars and two thumbs up! Informative and fun, the truffle hunt with Francesca was a great walk in the woods with Coco showing his penchant for finding both white and black truffles. The cooking class truly felt like an inclusive family experience with Francesca's mom teaching us the finer points of making gnocchi and stuffed zucchini with truffle sauce, of course! The meal was yummy, the wine flowed, and a good time was had by all! Bravo! Gracias!

We had personalised attention in every way. Due to a train delay we were a little late but we were still met and had the whole experience. The food was delicious and adjusted for my rare allergy, and the paired wines matched well. We found 1 black and 2 white truffles. A highlight of our time in Italy.

My group did a private truffle hunt with Francesca and one of her dogs, Choco! Afterward we had probably the BEST four-course lunch at her family's beautiful estate and I have to say that was the best meal we had eaten during our week spent in Rome and Florence. Choco found three truffles and it was incredible watching dog and handler working as a team to find these delicacies. Thank you for welcoming us in your home and for this unforgettable experience!

Unforgettable experience! The amount of passion and care that Francesca has for not only truffle hunting, but dog training, bee keeping and the overall care of her home is astounding. The lunch was absolutely perfect, likely the best wine I had during our entire trip. And of course a big thanks to choco for all his hard work, the experience would be nothing without him!

The best tour we ever did. Starting from the pick up point, which was easy to find due to the details given, the day was perfect! Our tour guide, Hilary was the best guide. And I really mean the best!!!! Very knowledgeable and personable, fun and friendly, she give us lots of insights into the Florentine history and life. By the end of the day we felt like a group of friends. The trip in the forest with Francesca, the truffle hunter and her Lagotto Romagnolo dog, Choco, was a great experience! The lunch back at the villa a real treat! Everything and everyone made us feel special! So glad we were able to do this tour, and would highly recommend it!!!!
