We took the 8:30am two hour tour. Cyrus was our tour guide and he was great. Right on time, only 5 of us in the VW bus very comfortable. He is a native SF and took us into different neighborhoods which allowed us to find some great places off the beaten track. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Absolutely fantastic, would definitely recommend doing this and do it early on in your trip to give you a good overview of the city. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Thank you so much.

This was a great and informative tour, especially walking on the Golden Gate Bridge! What an experience. Loved the VW🥰 Only suggestion maybe a speaker at the back of the vehicle as it is difficult to hear the driver. Thanks Dave!!!!

Road the bus with Cousin Cyrus as our driver, a Canadian couple, our group of four (2 youngsters) and a German traveler. Started by waterfront and had a great several hours. Cyrus provided lots of info and history with stops at Four Points for a view of the Golden Gate and a short visit to the Yoda fountain at the Lucas complex. The architectural information was very interesting as well as the info about the history and former homes in Haight Ashbury. Cyrus kept us entertained and educated and my kids loved the Lombard trip. Cyrus’ recommendations gave some colorful places to checkout and we were able to follow his recommendations for the Chinatown night market experience and some good food. A lot of fun for all.

We loved seeing the different areas of San Fran. Took notes! Went back to Tony’s for some great pizza and saw the festival in Chinatown. Thank you! Had lots of fun,

My “cousin” Siris was the best tour guide I could have asked for. He was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of the city and all its neighborhoods… he was amazing. This is more than a music history tour; it’s a “then and now” tour; it’s a “now get out and explore the city tour”. The VW Bus was just the icing on the cake. Thanks again Siris

In some hours we could get a very good overview of the city. Dave was also the best guide we could ever ask for: funny and informative. We had a great time overall

What can I say. What a fantastic way to see the city. The tour is long enough to give you a feel for San Francisco. Seeing all the highlights and getting an insight from a local. Tara was brilliant brought lots of fun and knowledge. Made you feel comfortable and even had a sing a long to the amazing soundtrack. The vw van is the best way and I think we had more photos taken of us than we took in the tour

When I signed us up for this tour, I thought riding in a psychedelic painted VW bus would be fun and it was. I wasn't sure how comfortable it would be, but those old VW seat envelop you like a hug. My husband and I had already taken two other types of S.F. tours and Tara still took us to pretty parts of Golden Gate Park and the rest of S.F. we hadn't seen before.

Dave Parrish was affable and knowledgable and made this trip! Our group was one family and we were made to feel so welcome and hit every point around San Fran and even the best angles for photos that some don’t know about. We were excited to go back to certain neighborhoods (Haight Ashbury for example).

Our tour with Tara was not Tarable, it was Tarafic! We got a great overview of San Francisco and learned a lot of the city’s fun and interesting history

Our tour guide Tara was funny and entertaining. We got to see some major San Francisco sights and got a little time to snap some pictures, but also saw some lesser known features of the city. Gives a great overview of fun and historic neighborhoods you can choose to spend more time in on your own later.

Terra was very knowledgeable and had great energy. Tour bit pricy but worthwhile to see behind the city.

This was hands down the best tour I’ve ever had. Seeing the sights and getting expert and intimate knowledge of San Francisco’s rich history made this experience a memorable one. We even got time to step off the bus and take in the most iconic sights. An amazing experience I recommend anyone to partake in who is visiting the city for the first time.

A fabulous start to our holiday in SFO, we got to see all the main sights from a VERY cool bus with groovy some music playing. Tara our guide was a fabulous story teller, a hip chick and great historian of SFO and its various districts music scene etc etc!
