Our guide Mike made our tour exciting and fun, (his laugh is infectious) and through his experience was able to explain everything from geological history, to plants and wildlife and opened our eyes to whole new world the desert has to offer. Will do it again if the opportunity comes. Thanks for a great morning.

This is a good trip of the San Andreas fault zone. Note that it is the zone of the fault and although there are some geologic features related to the tectonic action it is more desert tour than fault tour. That having been said it is a very unique way to experience the desert, the canyons and oasis. There is also interesting history of the region and why the formations, industry and agriculture are there.

Interesting tour of the fault and lesson of the rock formations. Expect to hike up a hill to view the Salton Sea with spectacular views from atop the hill. The path is a little rocky so wearing hiking shoes or shoes with a good grippy sole would be helpful. The 4 Runner vehicle was a good sturdy vehicle for traversing the dusty washboard roads of the canyon. The short walk into the slot canyon was interesting although expect a climb over small boulders with tight spaces. The history of the small town of Mecca was interesting with a variety of agriculture. The tour was approximately four hours which was a little long for our preference but the water and snacks were appreciated. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He made the tour interesting and answered a lot of questions not just about the fault but about life in the California area. I’m still not sure it was worth $189 per person though….

We really enjoyed the trip with Ben. He was knowledgeable, very personable, and a great driver and we learned a lot! Highly recommended trip to see something a little different when visiting Palm Springs.

A fantastic tour with an excellent tour guide Isabella! Very knowledgeable and fun. She definitely has a passion for providing customer satisfaction! The tour took us off road to see a few fault lines, slot canyons, and other interesting sites. Worth the $’s.

We enjoyed our trip and Will was a very knowledgeable guide. As it turned out we were not able to do the San Andreas fault which was disappointing.

Very good tour guide HOWEVER if you are not sitting next to him in the front seat you will not hear any of the narrative when the Jeep is in motion... the Jeep is VERY noisy and the guide/ Jeep is not equipped with any technology to enhance the guides voice or mitigate the Jeep noise. Having said that the hike to top of mountains and off road drive through the mountains were fun.

The Earth is pretty incredible. The amount of details in the rock formations were so worth the experience. And the trip was so worth it because of our Tour Guide, Ron. He’s a wise man and has a natural gift for leading these tours!

The views are breathtaking and many surprises along the trip! Perfect for family outings and we all learned a great deal about the fault zone, rock formations as well as the local weather. We had a blast! Our tour guide Ben went above and beyond making sure it was a memorable experience for us!

Great tour and knowledgeable tour guides! The weather (raining in PS) made us a little concerned but it stopped and we were able to do all the planned side trips to canyons and look-outs. The clouds gave us a spectacular photo-worthy sunset.
