I do not recommend this provider or this service. We got paired with "a local" but he didn't have any knowledge about the city other than the location of the main sites on Google Maps. He had to use their phone when we asked them questions. He also asked to cut the tour short, which we chose to do because he wasn't making it interesting. I asked for a partial refund which the provider Lokafy refused.

Mo our local guide was a fantastic host for our 2hour introduction to Salamanca. He was knowledgeable and delightful.

Our guide Noemí is a local and she gave us a custom tour of Salamanca that we will never forget. From seeing Salamanca from across the river after the storm, to finding the frog on the school at the university and the astronaut at the cathedral facade, the tour was full of insights, history and stories. The cherry on top was finding La Tuna rehearsing at a bar in the students district. Truly recommended.

It was more than just a sight seeing tour. Our guide Deborah was lovely and made our tour of Salamanca very special through her eyes as a student of the university. She took us to all corners of the old town of Salamanca and showed us the city through her eyes. We highly recommend this tour! We hope you get Deborah. She was absolutely delightful.

Débora was an absolute treasure. She was friendly and approachable. She tailored the tour to suit my interests. And she was happy to help me with my Spanish, which I really appreciated. Highly, highly recommend!

It was the worst experience in our life(4 of us) w/tour guides. Besides that our tour guide, young woman, spoke very bad English she did not know basic history of Salamanca. For example she said that new cathedral was built in the beginning of 20 century!!! We paid more than $200 for walking around Salamanca w/her. And we think that it’s fault of the company not this young woman. I will never use them and will try to do my best to convince everybody who wants to use them not to.

Brenda our guide never showed up and did not respond to multiple calls from me or the parent company. Still waiting for a refund

This is a fantastic tour especially as it is with a local person. Alexi was brilliant, she really knew her stuff. We walked through the city absolutely enthralled. Would definitely recommend this experience.

We really enjoyed our time with Brenda. She is very personable and we had lots to chat about as she is in education and I am a retired teacher. She is very knowledgeable about Salamanca - loved the indoor market and the library! Since she is from Peru, we could add info about that country also.

Great way to get to know Salamanca. I got to see and know things that are out of reach in Google and the tourist tours. The guide was adapting to my questions and interest in a great way.

Very good tour of Salamanca from someone who actually studied at the University. Provided great context and an overview of the city and its history. His advisement on the La Purisma was very beneficial.

Our guide, Manuel, took us on a 3 hour tour of the historic centre of Salamance. He spoke excellent English and was able to provide plenty of interesting information and history about the monuments, buildings and sites that we visited. After the tour we were able to return to some of them to visit inside at our leisure (Old University building, Cathedral, Convento de San Esteban and Casa Lis). We can also thank him for recommending a small restaurant we visited after the tour (Don Quixote) - wonderful tapas.

Alberto was wonderful! He showed us places that only locals would know. He was well versed in history and was able to answer our political and social questions with ease. He knew we wanted to see the market and took us there to talk about the various dishes that are common to the region. This was money well spent!

Excellent in every way. Our guide Lisa (?) spoke excellent English and had a sound knowledge of the churches, museums and other sites.

We arrived at the meeting point at 5 45 to meet the tour guide.We waited until 6 15 then contacted tour operators Lokafy to see if they were sending a guide and they confirmed that they did not have a booking. We had a very limited time in Salamanca and wanted to see as much of the old city as possible. Our guide, Alberto took us on an amazingly thorough walk they the city. We saw all of the highlights we had hoped for, and got background information that helped give the attractions more relavence and memorable. I would highly recommend this tour and Alberti

My wife and I had a lovely time with Mohammad who obviously loves the city. We enjoyed spending time with him. We got an email in advance trying to lower our expectations about our guide being a catalogue of dates (I guess someone complained) but if you need that kind of minute detail, you want a historian, not a city guide. If you want a good overview, this company is a good choice. I would go with the two hour option which seems to cover the important locations.
