Maud was the perfect, knowledgeable host. Who can ask for anything better, than to have a student of wine give a wine tour? It was a small, congenial group. Everyone enjoyed themselves tremendously and learned a lot about the wine business and the taste of good food and wine. Bravo!

Great trip with guide Alex. We fitted a lot in. Very informative but also fun. We went to St Emilion for a vineyard tour and then into the town itself for wine tasting. It’s a beautiful town. Then onto another vineyard for wine tasting about 10 min drive away. Both small family vineyards which are nice to support.

François was an outstanding guide with a deep knowledge of St. Emilion history, terroir, and general enology. We knew a lot about wine before this tour and know even more after it. The wines were very varied which made the day more interesting than expected and the locations were amazing, especially the town of St. Emilion itself. Comfortable MBZ vans for the drive also helped make this a very good value. Do it you won’t be disappointed!

This was an amazing tour. Our guide was so nice, knowledgable, and super friendly. I wish I could remember his name! The groups are small; we had eight in total (all English speakers) and everyone was so nice and we all got along great. So fun meeting people from other parts of US and beyond. The wineries so beautiful, St. Emillion was incredible, but my fave was the small family winery. The owners grand daughter was there, Collette, and she was so cute! Nothing like a four year old French girl! So charming! Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

Wonderful afternoon Saint-Emilion Wine Lovers tour with guide Alexandre (intelligent, engaging wine lover & trained sommelier — perfect guide)!! Alex drove us to Château Bonalgue Pomerol in Libourne for a visit to the vineyard and tour of the winemaking process, and wine tasting. Then we conducted a short visit to the very historic & picturesque Saint-Emilion (highly recommend purchasing some fresh “bebes cannelés” in the Moulierac bake shop!!). We finished with an exceptional discussion and wine tasting with Clement, the owner of Château Clos des Abbesses in Saint-Emilion. Outstanding experience, and we highly recommend for first-timers to Bordeaux!!

A small group tour is perfect. Everyone gets a chance to ask questions, you can hear your guides, and it feels a lot more personal. Our guide Maud was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and made the trip so fun and comfortable. If you’re in the Bordeaux area, this tour is a must-do. The wine tastings were excellent. I learned proper tasting techniques. The appertif was such a good snack. If I was staying longer, I’d go a second time.

It's been an awesome experience visiting St Emilion with lovely people on the afternoon of May 18th. We were 8 in a group and our tour guide was Alex. He's been great in explaining historical wine-making backgrounds, France geography and grape varieties. Weather was never great when we came back to Bordeaux and never had the chance to address everybody a nice goodbye but the visit on two wineries were fabulous. I would highly recommend this tour for Bordeaux wine-lovers/first-timers.

Great afternoon in St Emilion tasting 13 different wines, including some very nice ones. Nice opportunity to buy our favorite picks. Enjoyable drive from Bordeaux city with great narration from Mod, our tour leader. Small size of only eight made it all very personal. St Emilion village also very beautiful, even with all the wine shops lining the streets. Highly recommend and ask for Mod as tour guide.

Maud was absolutely fantastic! She made the whole day feel so personalized and special for each of us on the tour. My husband and I were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and Maud sang a beautiful love song for us, it was so special! Thank you Maud for a wonderful tour and memories made!

What a wonderful tour with the BEST guide Maud. We have travelled extensively and we would have to say this tour is without a doubt the best one. Maud was so informative and is obviously very knowledgeable and professional. This was a perfect afternoon. We thank Maud for her kindness shown to my husband with his disability. The Chateau’s we visited were so interesting and we cannot recommend this tour enough. Just make sure you ask for Maud.

My husband and I took a few days from our trip to Paris to enjoy the Bordeaux region. The Bordeaux Wine Trails afternoon experience was a fantastic way to see the area! Maud was a wonderful guide, we laughed and learned and enjoyed some lovely wines. The 5.5 hours flew by!

We were on this trip for our first anniversary and decided to go on a tour to taste iconic wine from Bordeaux. We’ve been on wine tours before, so we thought we knew what to expect. However, our expectations were greatly exceeded! Our guide, Maud, was wonderful; she had passion and facts ready to educate our whole group on what we were about to see and created a very welcoming and safe environment for us and everyone else on the tour. Saint-Émilien was beautiful and Maud offered to us and the rest of our group the option to explore the village with her guidance and showed us several stunning locations we wouldn’t have found ourselves, including a wine dealer where we got another bonus wine tasting as well as a cured meats and cheese shop where we were able to buy delicious sausage and sandwhiches for lunch during the 45 minutes we were allotted to explore the village. We would have been able to do these things without her help, and we definitely should have had more time there, or at least be given the option to extend our stay in Saint-Emilion! The wine and quality of the tours at the wineries was also good and we would recommend this to anyone who has or has not gone on a wine tour before. If you don’t speak French, I recommend you practice your English skills because the tours will be in English. 20/10, definitely recommended.
