What a fantastic tour by two local Canarians. Inez and Juan and not forgetting Lupita were entertaining , informative and great fun. They collected us and returned us to our cruise ship promptly. In between from North to South we saw amazing scenery, clouds, plants, biodiversity. The lunch was excellent and tailored to our requirements. We totally recommend this tour.

Inés and Juanjo are a lovely couple passionate about their country. The way they (including Lupita) bring you along the tour is exceptional. They share a lot of Canarian history with us and we learn way more than expected on our tour to Roque Nublo and the other places on the tour. I would definitely book them next time we visit Gran Canaria and recommend their well prepared tours to family and friends. Thanks Inés for the exceptional lunch provided on the tour with the wine and the chosen place to eat. This tour is worth every cent.

We were lucky and we were the only 2 people on the tour therefore it made the experience even better. The whole day was planned out really well and Ines and Juanjo were very knowledgeable and gave us lots of local information. Despite a slight traffic jam at Roque Nublo (which Ines and Juanjo sorted out!) it was smooth running. The lunch that was provided was homemade and tasty with local produce. Lupita was very comfortable and kept us safe. We would highly recommend going on tours with Sky Rebels!

We had a fabulous - magical in fact ;-) -day out with Ines and Juan (and Lupita!) visiting Roque Nublo and many other local sites around the island (highest point, local village, etc). The team are friendly and professional, and so knowledgable about the island. I was very glad that Juan was driving those skinny mountain roads! Incredible views and inspiring beauty. We stopped in the forest for a lunch prepared by Ines - what a feast of local dishes! I highly recommend this tour guide duo, it really is the best way to see the island. I wholeheartedly echo the sentiments expressed in the numerous 5-star reviews for Sky Rebels' tours led by Juanjo and Inés (and Lupita). While these day trips may come at a slightly higher cost compared to others on Gran Canaria, the immersive and captivating experiences they offer are worth every cent. As a solo traveler, I joined both the Roque Nublo and Unesco Sacred Mountains tours, and my satisfaction was beyond measure. The small and intimate group setting, coupled with Inés' delectable homemade tapas-style lunch, added an extra layer of delight to the journey. From breathtaking vistas to the couple's profound knowledge of the island and its indigenous people, the Canarios, which they generously shared throughout the tours, every element was meticulously curated. The pacing was also 'Just Right,' leaving me with a sole 'complaint'—the missed opportunity to partake in more tours. Without a doubt, I will be returning for additional adventures with Sky Rebels in the future.

What an amazing tour. These two go above and beyond to support clients. The semi private tour had so much offered to us as we travelled to beautiful, breath taking parts of the island. We were treated like family. They prepared an amazing picnic lunch for us and they even made special food items for my husband with allergies. They are so passionate about the island and it is shown in every perfectly planned detail! Thanks for being the most amazing hosts!

The knowledge and experience of the tour guides is second to none, as is their very clear passion for the island and natural environment. We had an amazing day out and the freshly prepared food was just delicious. The attention to detail and focus on our experience as customers was brilliant. I would definitely recommend any of the Sky rebel tours as I am sure they will all be of the same highest standards. Communication was excellent and we were picked up and dropped off outside our accomodation. What more could you ask for?

My father and I booked the Roque Nublo tour with meal at the Biosphere Reservation . We had been looking for a tour with some hiking and to see the many different sights of the island, this tour ticked that box and so much more. Inés and Juanjo were amazing tour guides that made the tour interesting and fun. And lupita , you are a gift from the gods . You can tell they are so passionate about the island, culture and the history , it definitely shines through in this tour. The fact that it's a max of 6 people on the tour stood out as well, so much better than getting piled on a coach of 20 + people and carted around. Communication flawless in regards to the pick up time and forecasted weather. The home-made lunch was outstanding, one of the best meals I had while in Gran canaria. And finished the day off with a traditional barraquito , it has to be tried! We had an amazing day and if I return to Gran canaria I will 100% be arranging another tour with sky rebels, thank you for an amazing day.

Had a day to spend alone and I’m happy that I found SkyRebels. Booked directly on their website to avoid any extra fees. Pickup was included at my hotel in Maspalomas. We were lucky to have beautiful weather all day, perfect for hiking up the mountains. Juan and Ines were very knowledgeable about Gran Canaria and made the journey up educational and interesting. I appreciated the significance of the rock formations much more and learnt about how the ancient canarians used to live! Would highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for something more private, and to get to famous spots before other tourists arrive. Go with comfortable hiking shoes and an open curious mind, and you’ll have a great time. ;) SkyRebels are a family driven tour business and the guides Juan and Ines have infectious high energy. Ines, Juan and... (Lupita) are a fab team. I did the Roque Nublo tour and it was amazing. Unfortunately on the day the weather at the very top was not ideal to walk, but they had a plan b at hand. Food was amazing, very personable guides and they have a fountain on knowledge of Gran Canaria. If you like visiting food markets, just ask them about it. I shall be returning next year and will be book onto another tour. See you next year!

Ines and Juanio introduced us to their great love, Gran Canaria, an island rich of history and treasures which go far beyond the beach life that most people associate with this fabulous holiday destination. We spent a lovely day and enjoyed the passion and stories they shared with us, not to forget the fabulous home made food which we ate in the middle of Canarian pine trees close to the Pico de las Nieves. A very short review. Juan and Ines are Brilliant. Tour was Brilliant. Food was Brilliant. A pair of "nutters" if ever there was. We had two groups of 5 on different days and we all felt the same. Great little hike to Roque Nublo. You should do this trip

A truly wonderful trip, highly recommend. They took us for an adventure with Lupita that we are never going to forget.

This was an amazing, intimate and educational tour! We were enthusiastically greeted by Juanjo and Ines at our hotel and hopped into the comfortable minivan with a charming couple from London. We were then whisked away to begin what was about 8 hours of fun, but never felt that long. Ines gave wonderful background and history on the island of Gran Canaria while Juanjo expertly navigated the hairpin turns up and down the mountainous terrain. Little did we know that "Lupita" would also be joining us to interject some playful humor. We made so many interesting stops with more facts about the island and the wonderful inhabitants. Along the way, we had snacks and even got to speak with some local folks. The lunch that was served was delicious and prepared with such care and covering every detail. We covered a lot of ground in those 8 hours and saw much of what the island has to offer. I truly believe there is no better tour on the island. The tour is highly recommended! On the Saturday there was actually no possibility to do the tour, but Juanjo and Inés converted it so that we could come along! Juanjo and Inés are super friendly, tell you everything about the places you visit and make it a special day. You can tell they do this with a lot of passion!

We enjoyed every moment of our trip last Saturday. Every view was stunning and Juan and Inez made it a fun, playfull but interesting day. We would definitely recommend this tour, but wouldn’t with (small) children because of the long day and walk.

By far this is the best and most fulfilling tour I have ever done. We was very lucky to be the only party (max 6 people on any tour, so dont think ever feel crowded) so it felt very personal. At no time do you feel rushed if you need extra few minutes they will let you take them, no pushing you because they have strict schedule and no visiting anywhere that is up selling their product, this tour is about culture, history and nature. The small walk up to Roque Nublo is not strenuousness and they stop several times to talk more about the landscape and history so you feel rested even before you at the top. But even with the history and beauty of the island being shared one of the key things this tour gives you is home cooked food, with some being cooked during the lunch stop in the forest. Sky Rebels delivers the tour in a way you never feel at home and never talking too much like some guides feel they have to do, they are friendly, passionate about the Island and quirky but fun. Yes it is on the expensive side, but you not going to be in a big group so can ask stupid questions that never can do in bigger groups, the bus can visit places coaches cant and the food is almost worth the cost on its own.
