Out of all the many outstanding opera productions and opera concerts I've experienced, this is the one I have enjoyed the most. The warm and personal welcome by Paola set the scene for talented singing by Paola and Francesco Antonio, with piano accompaniment by Massimiliano, taking us through a programme showcasing some of the most emotional and beautiful arias and duets from the Italian opera, with just the right amount of introduction and explanation. All this was perfectly complemented by the elegant rooftop setting on a warm, sunny evening. To feel that these amazing arias and duets are being sung just for you is an amazing experience and one to fully savour and appreciate in the moment. I chose this to mark my birthday and it was the perfect way to celebrate. Two hours of sheer joy.

Gorgeous rooftop venue! Glorious singers who sang with passion and emotion. You don’t need to know a lot about opera to enjoy this, Lovely antipasti and Prosecco accompaniment at the perfect time of day as the sun was setting, Intimate, emotional and the highlight of our visit to Rome. You will not regret booking this!

We've experienced both the Rooftop dinner and the private concert in the Doria Pamphili. Two different evenings, both magical. Highlights include three of the best musicians ever; the cello solo, spanish guitar moments and the virtuoso violinist were spectacular.

We had just arrived in Rome after a long flight. We had a 4:30PM reservation and the Rooftop Bar was walking distance from our hotel, so off we went. What a magical way to spend our first moments in Rome. The view is beyond beautiful, and the elegant presentation of wine and cheese just made everything perfect. We loved the arias sung by two veteran opera stars. Up close and personal. Do not miss this experience. Do it early in your trip. It will set the mood for everything that comes after.

This evening was the highlight of our trip. Venue was elegant. Performers were stellar. What a perfect evening. Do not miss this on your trip to beautiful Roma.

It was my first trip to Italy...I was celebrating my 60th birthday with my spouse, best friends and family. On our final night in Rome, I experienced something I will carry in my heart forever!!! Our dear friends treated our entire group of 8 to attend the rooftop opera show on May 10th. I was looking forward to this evening in the months leading up to our trip...and I truly didn't know, to what extent, it would affect my life...my heart. The beauty, voice, welcoming and grace of Soprano Paola touched me beyond expression. From the moment we arrived, Paola greeted us graciously and wished me a Happy Birthday...I felt very special...and her presence was breathtaking. She and Tenor Francescantonio absolutely enchanted us with their Italian solos and duets...the love and passion and expression they had for this music was so inspiring and uplifting. In addition, the romantic, outdoor setting overlooking this treasured city, while enjoying flowing wine, cheese, meats and crusty bread...WOW!! Afterward, we were able to chat a bit with Paola...and she signed the CD I bought - I will enjoy it and treasure it always. I think the most special moment of the evening was when Paola motioned to me a Happy Birthday then proceeded to sing "O mio babbino caro"...yes, I died and went to Heaven in Rome. This is the 2nd time that I have been and both performances were fantastic and both Paola & Francesco were fantastic hosts. The vista is magnificent and the staff were excellent. Dinner after the show was fantastic and again the staff were excellent. Fantastic experience for both families and couples. Must do when in Rome.

We kicked our month in Italy off by doing this the night we arrived from the states. So yes were we a bit jet lagged ? Definitely! Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! Fantastico . Everyone involved in making this production happen from the start was stellar. If you enjoy beautiful opera in a beautiful setting this is a must experience!

Exceeded my expectations! I expected great vocal performances, a beautiful setting and memorable night out. I did not expect the amazing graciousness with which we were treated; I did not expect the degree to which the staff took my request in the order to do a little something to surprise my friend on her birthday; and I did not expect just how well the singers not only sang the arias but communicated them to us, nor did I expect just how powerful it would be to hear this beautiful music in such an intimate setting. Other commenters noted the presence of birdsong, church bells in the distance, etc and I did not expect how Rome itself would contribute in such a beautiful way to the experience. Finally, our hostess, Paola, was such a kind presence as Maestra of Ceremonies on top of her skills as a singer and actress. Special brava and “well done” to her — she has created something very special and I hope she recognizes that!

A Sunday evening (on May 7, 2023) which by far exceeded our already positive expectations! A high quality and emotional performance of lovely Italian arias on an exceptionally beautiful roof top terrace of Rome, overlooking San Pietro from a far, with the added sound of birds singing and church bells ringing in a soft breeze under the sunsetting skies of the eternal city. My very first time joining an opera concert. It was an amazing experience. Fantastic performance. Wine and cheese was served before the concert. For a romantic couple, it must be perfect.

Very pretty setting. Good repertoire, albeit with the setting being so incredibly nice, it feels somewhat short. Beautiful experience overall. What should be improved are the instructions on how to get there: the entrance to the building is clearly pointed to, but the doorman does not know whether one goes to "Terrazza Borromini", or "The Opera Show" (of which there seems to be another on the ground floor), or "La Grande Bellezza". It would help if what needs to be said to the doorman is made clearer. Recommended nonetheless.

We spent a wonderful hour having very nice Italian apéritivo in cosy sofa, listening to Paola and Francescoantonio singing beautiful opera arias, Ted playing the piano. Paola was so kind she also dedicated a song “mio bambino caro “ for 18th birthday of my daughter : so emotional and nice moment with wonderful scenery by watching Rome from this rooftop. A once in a lifetime experience! The venue was beautiful, get there early to enjoy the views! A wonderful heavy appetizer of hams and cheeses and bread is served with wine, keep you happy while listening to the amazing opera singers and accompanying live pianoforte player. The venue is small and intimate, with the musicians right in front of you. The music was incredibly powerful. Glad I had sunglasses on. Post concert you can move up to the roof top bar of the hosting hotel, an exclusive beautiful bar one floor up with even better views. This was an experience, highly recommended for a romantic precursor to dinner out in Rome!
