I booked this trip because I'm a massive Fiat fan and I really wanted to experience what is to drive the the iconic vintage Cinquecento in the most adequate background of all - Rome. It totally surpassed our expectations, the car was really fun to drive, the guide was super helpful, gave us tips on the city and showed us around the walls, Pyramid and more! It really completed our visit of Rome and I cannot recommend it enough even if you're not that much into cars. Thank you Alexis for the great tour!

My family had a self-driving tour in the famous Fiat 500, and it was AMAZING! I enjoyed squeezing through narrow streets and tight corners of historic Rome, my kid enjoyed people taking pictures of us as we passed them and my wife enjoyed taking family pictures. Those tiny Fiats are something! They are not Lamborghini, but they will beat any Lamborghini around tight corners of historic Rome. I don't have enough words to describe my experience driving the classic Fiat 500. Absolutely AMAZING! Very enjoyable trip, 3 hours driving around Rome in Fiat 500 is a very good way to get the feel of the place. You not only see plenty of touristy things but also get too see a some of the more hidden spaces down narrow cobbled streets which are good fun to drive on. The guide pitched the information/ fun ratio perfectly. BEWARE - the car is not fully insured and I was disappointed to be asked for another €25 for full cover just before we started.

We had great fun on this tour and our guide Alex was brilliant - informative and good sense of humour! He was able to communicate with us via walkie talkies and was good at waiting if other traffic came between our cars. We stopped at a few interesting places we wouldn’t have seen otherwise and enjoyed coffee with locals at a cafe in a residential square we would never have found . A different and fantastically enjoyable way to do a tour of Rome. Highly recommend it.

This tour is so fantastic I have done it twice! Each time my travel companions have rated this at the top of their Italy experiences. There is truly no better way to experience Rome. Im sure all the tour guides are superb, but we are partial to Michael. Beyond fun…just the best way to see Rome.

This is a bucket list experience. I would reccomend it to anyone. Our guide Francesco was so friendly and funny. During this tour you can find the hidden gems of Rome while having an unique driving experience.

We had an incredible tour! Alex was a fantastic guide - he was fun, upbeat, super informative, and patient as we navigated the streets of Rome in our adorable Easter egg! My husband and I were there on our honeymoon and he was beaming from ear to ear while driving the fiat. Alex was a key part of making this one of our favorite memories and we can’t thank him enough. If you’re thinking about booking this tour, DO IT! You’ll see so much and have an amazing time in Alex’s trusting hands. And word of advice, if you’re struggling to call a taxi back to your hotel, go to the hotel where the tour ends and ask them to call one for you.

Our group of four couples were guided around some of Rome’s highlights by Alex and his wing-man Nando who rode his Vespa as interference for us at intersections. After a briefing at the start the four husbands drove their wives around in convoy behind the lead car driven by Alex. We had walkie talkies to stay in touch and receive instructions and commentary from Alex. There were a few stops along the way to look at some particular monuments and historic sights and we finished the tour knowing a lot more about Rome. The cars were all in good condition and fun to drive, even for us Aussies who drive on the other (correct 😉) side of the road. Other motorists were generally patient with our convoy even as the roads became busier during the later afternoon. Pedestrians never failed to smile and wave, and many took photos with the cars each time we stopped. All in all a fabulous experience.

We had the most fantastic time on the tour with Alex and the vintage fiat 500’s around Rome! He had excellent knowledge and was great fun to be around. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Thank you for making it a birthday to remember!!

This was the higlight of our visit to Rome. We went with self-drive option and, after a quick tutorial of how to drive a 50 year old car through the streets of Rome, we were off. Our guide was Alex and he was an excellent guide/historian/comedian and photographer! We ventured up and down Rome's hills and then into the twisty narrow streets of Trastevere finishing up with a lap around the Colloseum all whilst getting smiles and waves from fellow tourists. It's easy to get to the meet-up point by Metro, but give yourself plenty of time as the trains on line C aren't as regular as other lines. 500 ciao!

This was such a fun tour! Marco was very knowledgeable and allowed us to go at our own pace. Would highly recommend this for all visitors.

We had most amazing private Fiat 500 tour with Max in the red car! We had 3 people in the car plus Max driving us around Rome and yes we all fitted into one small car, unbelievable! This was the highlight of my trip to Italy! Max was an amazing guide and driver who took us around Rome and showed us so many different sites, he was great source of information and recommended beautiful restaurant for our lunch, even made reservation for us - what a service! Definitely worth the money. Thanks Max! See you next time

Without a doubt the best tour I have ever taken! We had an absolute blast. You will be the talk of the town driving around in the cutest vintage fiat. Literally around every corner people stopped to photograph us driving through the winding, narrow roads of Rome. Be sure to have solid experience driving a stick shift (manual) vehicle and preferably an older model.
