This was a really fun way to explore. Frederico was energetic and passionate about the history. He was the best guide we had on our trip. The Catacombs were interesting but the real treat was listening to Frederico recite the stories around the sites.

Federico was a terrific guide - he creatively described the sites in ways that brought us in to the time. He was personable, funny and very knowledgeable. The golf carts were very comfortable.

His stories and descriptions are very thought provoking and he can talk you into really imagining what ancient Rome must have really looked like. We loved this tour!

Federico was an excellent guide who is extremely knowledgeable and brought to life the history and stories behind stones and walls. This is a great trip that covers many highlights and although it’s not really cheap, it is absolutely worth it. One cannot cover otherwise these important and great milestones of Roman history in three hours. We highly recommend this tour. Our twelve-year old son liked it very much and we think it’s ideal for teenagers who just need a break from walking but can still explore really cool locations. A good overview of the city and the catacombs. There are no bones displayed in the catacombs but the history and the immensity of the catacomb was impressive. The guides were fun and knowledgeable. It was interesting to travel the Appian Way and learn how the Romans constructed it We were able to see several churches as well as a Circus Maximus. Would highly recommend!

This tour was a great way to see more of the city and reach some farther flung locations, especially with our senior parents in tow. Dave was a wonderful guide; informative and funny. Heading out the Appian Way was an opportunity to imagine Rome without all the crowds. We especially appreciated all the dates Dave used so we could keep some of the Roman chronology straight. Fantastic tour - wish we had done it in our first day.

Our golf cart trip was excellent. We stopped at a small church and then on to tour the catacombs. The catacombs were fascinating. Our guide was very knowledgeable. (he talked a bit too fast for us to understand all he was saying. ) It started to rain and they provided us with ponchos on 1 cart and put the sides down on the other. Overall, we were very pleased with our tour.

What a great your! Our guide was entertaining and so knowledgeable. We saw so much - well worth the money! The catacombs were fantastic. The golf cart experience spoiled us for the future! It was lovely to see Rome in the carts traveling too and from sites.
