In the absence of a group sortie during my stay in Kalamata, the owner and manager, George, took me out on a one-on-one session of rock climbing at the Kardamyli crag that he generously offered at an attractive rate. We had a great time, shared experiences and stories and in general just enjoyed the day. Thanks George for the hospitality and professionalism and thanks Nicky for the coordination and responsiveness in the office. I hope to come back!

We had an amazing morning of climbing in Kardamyli with Climb Up. Our guides George and George were fantastic and inspired complete confidence. We trusted them and felt extremely safe, which was important as our three children were climbing with us. The climbing area was great - lots of variety in the climb and amazing views. My wife and I had a great morning climbing at Kardamili with our instructor, Alex. We have done some indoor climbing and are competent at belaying and tackling basic climbs and also an outdoor climb in northumberland. This was the best climbing we have done. At Kardamili Alex had us do three routes up to 40m which were really good and although he made it look easy, they were a perfect challenge for us. The view from the cliff was worth it alone but I can say that high highly recommend this, great fun, a real highlight to our holiday and Alex was a mine of interesting information on anything from olive farming to climbing and life in Messina. What a day! Really well organised, professional and safe. Nice shaded spot, close to the road with loads of 40m routes to go at for all abilities. You can really tell George and the team love the area and love climbing. We hope to be back!

Had a great time climbing with George, George and Alex. The location was lovely - full shade even when you're climbing. The difficulty level was great for the mix of climbers - a challenge for the non / younger climbers and a chance to do some outdoor leading for the more experienced. And the guys were super friendly.

Amazing day out - there was a mix of experienced and new climbers and there was lots of climbing for everyone. Instructors were excellent and lots of fun and everyone was safe at all times. 3 hours is a very long time climbing so this is more than enough as some people will climb more and some less. As an 'indoor' climber I found the experience excellent and I will now try to do more outdoor climbing. George is very knowledgeable and experienced I would recommend this to anyone.

As an inexperienced outdoor climber it was a great experience for learning in a very nice location. I learned a lot about the safety of climbing outdoors and had a lot of fun along the way!

This was our first time climbing in Greece. Climb Up has great customer service and set us up with George as a guide. He and his colleague picked us up in Kardamyli and showed us some amazing routes just outside the village. They were very thorough and knowledgeable on climbing. They emphasized the importance of safety and the psychology on reducing fear in such an intimidating sport for beginners; making our experience comfortable, fun, and exciting. Fantastic day out climbing. To climb to the top and see the view was magical. The right balance of beginner & intermediate climbs for myself and my daughter. Amazing day out, great and friendly staff, very accommodating and encouraging. They where really good at getting everyone involved and pointing things out and giving tips and tricks. A vast knowledge of the local climbs meant if you needed a challenge they knew the climb for you.

Had a great time climbing in Kardamili! Alex, George & George made a great team, very supportive and encouraging to everyone and tailored the climbs to different abilities. Provided all the gear; helmets/harnesses/shoes and prepped several routes for us all to top rope, and they never got tired of the constant belaying. I did the climbing trip with George and his team and it was an incredible experience. George is extremely knowledgeable about the routes having designed them himself, and the climbing was tailored to suit different abilities. Despite some nice challenging routes, I always felt safe, and the Climb Up team gave advice from the ground if we needed help. I also did the Ancient Messini tour with George - I'd recommend him for any trips or excursions you do whilst in the area.
