Two brilliant wineries, a good lunch and an amazing guide in Adur made for a super day. We had no idea that there were so much to the Rioja region.

I had the most incredible time on this wine tour! My guide, Adur, was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and taught me tons about the region and area and also extremely accommodating, funny, and kind. I loved learning about the Rioja region and the wineries we went to, along with the views we saw and the pintxos we had, were fantastic!

We had a great fun and tried different and very delicious wines, the views were amazing and we were extremely happy with our tour guide!

We had a fantastic day in La Rioja. Our guide, Alby, had a well planned out tour for us, incl. lunch. The two vineyards were unique and the wines excellent.

Adur was a wonderful guide. He showed us some remarkable architecture in addition to visiting two very different wineries (one typical of the area, another more interesting). He arranged a space for me to take a conference call with WiFi, chatted with our 10 year old daughter and made her feel comfortable, and just generally went above and beyond. Lunch was lovely as well. Thank you!!!

Money well spent!!! We spent the day with Jose. He picked us up at our hotel and we spent an amazing day in wine country. We went to 2 wineries and the staff there was knowledgeable and welcoming. We learned a lot about the process of making the wine and of course got to taste. It was fun because our 20 year old daughter is studying in Bilbao for 5 months and this was her first wine tour experience. She loved it and now how a different perspective on wine. Jose also took us to a small village where we lunched on pintxos and drank wine. The views, company and wine were fantastic. We learned about the culture, the wine and so much more. Thank you to Jose and the wineries fir an amazing experience

Our guide José was so friendly and accommodating to my desire to at least see Marqués de Riscal winery. I wrongly assumed that would be one of the wineries we would visit since it was the one featured in the photo for the tour. I enjoyed the two wineries we did visit, especially the first one where we had the tour of the winery too. We visited Bodegas Hermanos Peciña and Bodegas Ostatu. José added surprise stops with beautiful panoramic views to our day of touring Rioja. That was the highlight of our day for me. I also enjoyed the lunch of pintxos at Biazteri in Laguardia and the walk around the unique village.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The two different wineries were interesting and different from each other. The wine was interesting, the food exceptional. Viator was very accommodating to our needs to be picked up from the cruise ship when the ship set a later dock time and earlier return time. Viator and Imanol, the tour guide, were helpful and accommodating, while still protecting the full experience. Imanol was an excellent driver and informative with information about the area and the Basque culture. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this tour.

Was quite expensive so I thought there would be more time at the wineries but those visits were quite quick & felt a little rushed. Was a full minivan and was quite warm day so was hot at the back - we had to divert for cruise ship passengers on the day as well so took extra time which might have been spent tasting??

Russell is an amazing guide! Very informative, humour and helpful. The tour was great! Two distilleries are of very different characters and yet very attractive. Views of the way were great! 100% recommended!

We had a personalized tour to the Rioja region. Our guide Elba Palomo was the best! She has incredible knowledge on the Wines and also the history of the area. I didn't know much about Laguardia and Ceniceros town but now we do. She is a true gem as a guide and Local Experts is very fortunate to have her in the team. My husband and I have had prior tours but nothing matched to this one. It was personalized and we didn't feel rushed to go to the next site/winery. Highly recommend this tour!

Great experience, not only to do the wine tasting in two wineries but also to understand how they make the wine! A special shoutout to our guide Elba who was great. She was very knowledgeable and took us to a couple of villages during the visit to give us a grand tour of the region. Lunch was included!!

Perfect tour! The plan to visit 2 Basque wineries and picturesque LaGuardia was ideal. The first winery included a tour and detailed description of the winemaking process. We had a nice lunch and walk around the beautiful medieval town. Bring camera! Our guide was so accommodating and even surprised us with a perfect stop to view Frank Gerry-designed Marques de Riscal!

Elba was a great guide and exceeded our expectations for the trip! We had a small group and she took the time to sure it's some of her favorite parts of the area and made the trip even more fun. Would definitely recommend this group and wouldn't hesitate to book other tours in the future.
