We booked this tour as part of our family trip to Holbox. Two adults and two older teenagers, and all really enjoyed it. Our son especially enjoyed the fishing and ceviche, oyr daughter especially loved the snorkeling and photos, dad especially loved the boat ride, and mom loved it all. Our guide Eric spoke good English and taught us so much about local culture and the island; our captain did speak speak much English, but both were excellent regardless. I definitely recommend!

Eddy and Eric were fantastic! They took great care of us and our two children. It was a highlight of our trip -- the ceviche was the best we have EVER had. We also caught lots of fish, Eddy and Eric were very attentive to our children and making sure they had the experience of catching the fish. Cabo Catoche had the most beautiful untouched beaches we have ever seen. The tour was early which we loved -- there was no one out at the beautiful spots they took us. 100% recommend and we will go again!

We really enjoyed our tour with Eddy. Captain and Eddie showed us how to line fish and caught us the perfect amount of fish for a delicious ceviche. We got to relax and enjoy our ceviche lunch at a nice quiet part of the beach at Cabo Catoche. The day was perfect. I would definitely recommend!! Gracias Eddy y Capitan!!

We had such a wonderful day on our Cabo Catoche tour! Eddie and Eric were such great guides who took great care of us from telling stories and history of the area, preparing the best ceviche we’ve ever had, and bringing us to a very special beach spot to relax and enjoy the sun and water. Our group caught 20 fish! We had such a great time and I would recommend Eddie and Eric (brothers!) for any Holbox trip. Thank you!

This by far was the highlight of our trip. Gustavo helped us book this tour after our original tour was cancelled because whale sharks had not arrived yet. My nine year old daughter and I were disappointed that did not get to meet these magnificent creatures, but we were so happy that we could take a family trip all together with my husband and two year old son. Our tour guide Vicente took his time explaining everything not just to the adults but to our kids. This is something that we really appreciated because my kids were very interested in nature. On this fishing/snorkeling/relaxing trip we saw dolphins, turtles, fish, flamingos, all kinds of birds, and different kinds of vegetation. They thought about every little detail even having binoculars on board which my kids enjoyed so much. First we went fishing and everyone in my family caught something (even the two year old), then we went snorkeling and my daughter and I went first. Later my husband joined us since our toddler was happily napping on Vincent's arms! ;) Then we stopped at a virgin beach to eat some freshly made ceviche (from the fish we just caught) and swim. Finally we ended the tour bird watching and sailing back.. Our tour guide, Vicente, and our captain made this trip one of the best experiences we have had as a family. We can tell that they love their jobs.This is a memory that we will never forget and my kids continue to talk about. Thank you again to everyone!

Are whale shark tour was cancelled due to poor sea conditions and very few whale sharks (the migration seemed to be just starting). The tour operator was in contact with my husband via email many times before our tour to provide updates on the whale sharks, other date options, and other tour options. We waited until our last full day on the island and ended up on the Cabo Catoche tour. Our tour guide was Willy. He and the captain (and the captain's young daughter) were wonderful: their kindness, spirit, patience, enthusiasm, and knowledge. We enjoyed all aspects of the day including the light breakfast before leaving, boating, fishing, snorkeling, beach, estuary, and flamingos at the end. We really appreciated their environmental consciousness both in how they shared this knowledge and how it was practiced on the tour. I hope we go back to Holbox and, if we do, I will only book tours through VIP Holbox in the future. Thank you!

We had originally booked a trip to see the whale sharks, but with it being so close to the beginning of the season the sharks were not there yet. They were very clear with the sharks not being there and gave us options to book a different tour (which we did), get a refund, or reschedule the shark tour to another day. We did the Cabo Catoche tour with Eddy and Christian. It was a small group of 4 of us, so it was very personal and lovely. Breakfast was amazing and the fruit was so yummy! We then went out to the boat and went to two different fishing spots near Cabo Catoche. We used fishing line and a hook with sardines attached to catch fish that we later ate in ceviche. It was a lot of fun in the boat all of us tourist trying to catch fish and basically failing. After we caught enough fish we then went to the place to snorkeling. I LOVE snorkeling so this was awesome. There were stingrays, pufferfish, sea turtles, eels, and loads of other fish. It was so great! While we snorkeled Eddy and Christian made the ceviche. We then went to a beach and walked around and ate ceviche. On our way back to Holbox, we saw a bunch of flamingos on the shoreline eating and walking around. It was the perfect way to end the tour. While we didn't see any whale sharks, it was still a great tour and we had a lovely time (plus, now we have to return another time--oh darn;)) I really do recommend going with VIP Holbox, it was professional and highly enjoyable.

Vimos muchos delfines, el tema pesca es bastante flojo, la excursión bonita por el paisaje, la zona donde comimos muy bonita, nos dejo un rato para hacer snorkel mientras èl preparaba el cevichea. A la vuelta pasamos por una zona preciosa llena de pelicanos y flamencos.

Un magnifique moment avec Sandra notre guide française et Miguel notre capitaine-cuisinier. Tout était parfait : la pèche, le ceviche qui en a découlé et que nous avons pu déguster loin de l'amas de touristes, le snorkeling. N'hésitez pas !!

Cela démarre avec un charmant accueil de Sandra (guide française) et de Christian (capitaine du bateau). Puis une heure de navigation, au cours de laquelle nous avons croisé des dauphins. Arrive la très belle expérience qui consiste à pêcher son déjeuner: belle réussite en famille avec 3 poissons chacun, et excellente préparation ensuite desdits poissons en ceviche ! Le reste de la ballade est très réussi : snorkelling, déjeuner sur une plage déserte et observation de différents oiseaux. Un très bon moment !

Excursion géniale avec Sandra, Christian et Eddy ! Un tour en bateau dans la mangrove magnifique, de la pêche à la ligne avec préparation d’un ceviche sur le bateau : moment inoubliable ! Malgré les conditions pas favorables au snorkelling, ils ont trouvé d’autres solutions comme la visite d’une plage paradisiaque où nous étions seuls au monde !

Trevlig tur med glad skeppare! Fiskelyckan stod oss bi och vi fick till och med se några delfiner. Dagens fångst blev läcker ceviche på stranden. Men snorklingen blåste bort, lite synd, tyckte vissa.
