Fantastic insight into film making in Liverpool. A pleasant walk around some great locations in the city and wonderful to have a tour guide in Gary who displays such enthusiasm and passion for his subject matter. Highly recommended for movie buffs or anyone with a casual interest in films and the city

Excellent tour. Gary is very knowledgeable not only about an abundance of movies and tv filmed in Liverpool but local history and a few pub and restaurant recommendations thrown in. As you walk, it gives you a chance to really look around and ‘up’ and marvel at what an iconic city Liverpool is. Would recommend.

We loved this tour - we came away with lots of new knowledge and a list of films to watch. Gary is super engaging and knows his stuff, you can't help but enjoy yourself on this tour. Highly recommended.

On this tour, Gary included references to films, actors, historical info on Liverpool and even where the best pubs were! Thank you for all the things we never knew or didn't realise we wanted to know. Would recommend this trip to anyone either visiting Liverpool or those who live there!!

Been meaning to do this tour and eventually had a free Sunday to do it. Not disappointed, so much information and in depth knowledge from Gary. Who knew that so many films were made in Liverpool? Superb locations that appeared to be in the US or in Europe were in fact Liverpool. This is highly recommended just a pity that he's an Evertonian but I don't bear a grudge!

Had a brilliant morning with Gary from Reel Tours touring the filming locations in Liverpool. If you are interested in film and Liverpool then is definitely for you. Gary has heaps of knowledge and plenty of funny antidotes to make the tour really interesting.

What Gary doesn't know about films and TV programmes that used Liverpool as a backdrop, just isn't worth knowing. He put the information over in a easy to listen to style, with lots of humour. I am not a film buff, but I thoroughly enjoyed the two hour walk around the beautiful city of Liverpool.

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Gary is very knowledgeable and is so enthusiastic about films and Liverpool. It’s amazing as natives of Liverpool how little we knew about the buildings. The time flew by. The tour is excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend! Thank you Gary.

Whether you’re a film buff or not this is a fabulous tour of Liverpool. Gary’s engaging enthusiasm and humour will keep you entertained and it’s amazing to learn just how much the city has appeared in a whole variety of films over the years. If you are in Liverpool DO NOT miss Gary and his tour around the City. Gary is Engaging, Funny and very attentive. His knowledge of the movie business is incredible and with the wonderful city of Liverpool as a backdrop...... what a way to spend a couple of hours. I discovered that Liverpool's place in Cinema history is very extensive and quite surprising. I had a great afternoon.

This was a 5 star tour from start to finish we learnt so much about our city and it’s amazing connection to the film industry We saw so many film locations from Batman .Sherlock Holmes TheCrown Harry Potter .The fantastic beasts and Peaky blinders and more. Insight into our local theatre’s and the actors who have played there . Gary our guide and the creator of the Reel tour experience was fun and knowledgeable . His experiences of meeting many famous actors and producers was laugh out loud . So if your new to the city book a tour and if you live in and around the city learn all about it’s great ever developing movie history

Despite a bitterly cold day, Gary quickly warmed us up with his great rapport, extensive knowledge and humour. The tour was excellent value and for anyone who enjoys film and tv, we definitely recommend. Well done Gary!
