An amazing time learning about the distillery process different spices their origins and history around Rebel City Distellery. Both Robert and Bhagya are so personable and likable, would definitely come back and 1 to watch for it's amazing growth and community partnership. Wanted to get a bottle of the Maharini Gin (a big fabourite) at Duty Free but all sold out, shows how popular it is

I love an independent local distillery and this did not disappoint. Bhagya lead the tour and gave us the history of the business. She really was a great host. The gin is beautiful and I am waiting and hoping to see it available in England one day. Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon.

I did the tour and cocktail making class (as part of Sunrise Social Cork) . As soon I stepped foot , I was mesmerised. The decor was so cool and Bhagya was extremely welcoming . She oozes passion, enthusiasm and pride for her business she set up with her husband. She gave us a lovely insight into their story and the lovely meaning behind all the different art pieces and trinkets that were on display. We got a very insightful tour of the distillery before our cocktail class where we had the tunes hopping and everybody was having such a good time. We absolutely loved the Maharani Gin. I couldn’t leave without picking up a bottle and a set of glasses. Highly recommend a trip here….bite to eat in the Marina market, distillery tour and cocktail class before a night on a town = a great night out. Will definitely be back ❤️

I visited Rebel City Distillery with my friends and colleagues and we all had a blast. Although the distillery is small, Bhagya, her husband, and friends have created a wonderfully fun and intimate space. We enjoyed the games, local history and art, and hearing the inspiring story of how Bhagya and Robert got to where they are today. A couple of delicious Gin and Tonics and some other craft spirits didn't hurt either! Would highly recommend! Good luck with the business and I hope to see Maharani on more shelves soon! (Keep an eye out for the dogs!)

Bhagya was a fantastically ethusiastic host. We visited Rebel City Distillery as part of my 60th birthday celebrations at the recomendation of family livingnin nearby Kinsale. We loved the Maharani Gin _ a citrus forward , easy on the juniper_ drop. The Absinthe tasting was a revelation to us all as this isnt availanle in New Zealand. And we finished with a fantastic Vodka. If you are a gin ethusiast or jyst wznting fun informstive experience, we highly recomend this tour. We look forward to returning tocheck in on the Rum! Had a great time at the rebel distillery tour. I found the tour really interesting and we got to enjoy some Maharani gin. Overall really great and enjoyable experience, would definitely recommend it.

The botanical flavors of Kerala, India are organically grown by a cooperative, then distilled in Cork, to produce unique gin, vodka, and absinthe.

We had a great time at the distillery. Loved our hostess, who is one of the co-owners. Her enthusiasm and humor made the talk regarding the process of making their products very informative and enjoyable. Had a great time and would recommend it as top activity for those visiting Cork.

A unique place in cork! The amazing vibe from the building comes from the great artistic and Indian decoration, as well as from the owner herself (who was our guide). The tour is a mix of fun historical quizzes, observation skills and spices discovery. It’s a great activity to do with family and friends. The gin, the absinthe and the vodka are all great and flavourful. No wonder they won some awards!

It was a lovely tour. Learning the story of the building and how the decision of opening the distillery came about gave a feeling of familiarity.

Excellent little tour and a real hidden gem in Cork. I'm always keen to find something new whenever I come home and this tour is right up there with the best of them so far. Bhagya was a great storyteller and we hugely enjoyed learning about their inspirations for creating all their spirits and the importance of blending both their backgrounds to create something uniquely Cork. Tastes pretty good too! Definitely recommending to anyone who's travelling to Cork!

Really enjoyed the tour and informative talk. It was very informal and the tour guide(also part owner of the distillery) spoke with passion and knowledge about Cork and the distillery, by explaining the history of both. The tasting session was very good and I left knowing a lot more about Gin and its origins. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We visited the distillery as a group of friends for an indoor activity to escape the storm! The tour was very informative and very good fun. We had a blast and Bhagya was hilarious and great fun - the tasting samples were delicious and added to the day. I’d highly recommend for everyone

We had an outstanding experience at Rebel City! We learned about the distillation process from start to finish as well as about what sets the Marahani brand apart. This is a company you will root for long after leaving the tour. The gin is exceptionally flavorful and smooth but the highlight for us was the absynthe—it is utterly spectacular! Be sure to take this tour. You’ll regret missing out if you don’t!

Such a fascinating tour of an independent distillery with a very cool and progressive ethos. Bhagya was so knowledgeable and educated me on the history of gin and Cork itself. Really enjoyed ourselves, will definitely be back!
