A great tour - very well organised and flexible to what you want to do. The water was crystal clear for snorkelling with lots to see. Communication with the company from booking to before the tour was also first class.

Thank you so much to the 5 Star Marine Team! Especially our crew 1. captain- who always was smiley and kept us save and secure! To our 2. great skipper who also was super friendly and helpful and walked up with us to the view point, making sure we were all save and snake free;) And of course Jessica who looked after us in the best ways possible! We always had something to drink and fruits. She always had an open ear for us, looked after us while we went snorkling and made sure there was some shade so we didnt burn in the sun;) and all this with a beautiful smile! The tour itself was greatly organised. We left early enough so we were the only ones at the snorkling places, we saw so many beautiful sea life and amazing healthy corals. A white sand beach so soft that it felt like walking on flour. And even though it is the jelly fish season right now, we went snorkling without seeing one👍 Unfortunately there always is a lot of plastic garbage on the islands, coming in from the sea ( we are all responsible for that) but Jessica and i took some bags and collected 2 big bags in 10 min to take back and be recycled! Of course this was my own decision and it is not mandatory, but i do think it would be nice if we all do our bits to be a bit more responsible in that perspective and i was happy to see that this company cares! My family and i had an amazing day with 5 star marines- thank you so much!!

The boat is superb. The staff are friendly. Only one concern, they seemed not used to accompany elders in snorkling nor always in alert to assist, in comparison with other services in other countries. It seemes they expected extra charge. We always did give tips for any extra helps though.

Everything from the tour booking till the final drop off back to the hotel was absolutely smooth and efficient. The entire team was amazing, super helpful and great people all around. Our tour guide Fews was the best part of our day- such a gem! So funny and kind but also very professional. Highly recommend!

We booked a trip out to the Similan Islands in Thailand and unfortunately the trip was cancelled due to bad weather conditions. We asked about alternatives and the team was incredible getting us set up for a snorkeling trip out of Phuket to Racha Island (along with a few other stops) and it was incredible! They arranged for our pick up in Khao Lak and the service from the owner, Shaun, to the driver, the guide (Nook was great!) to the boat captain was absolutely top notch. We saw beautiful coral and sea life, had an incredible Thai food lunch on a deserted beach and felt taken care of the whole day. Don't hesitate to book a trip with 5 Star Marine!

We are a family of 4 from the UK and we booked two trips with 5 star marine. Both were amazing. Our kids are ages 11 and 12 and we decided to book a private tour just for us. Even though it’s quite a lot of money for a private trip, the price for the boat was cheaper than our hotel tours and after much searching on the web 5 star marine looked like the best option, with excellent reviews versus other similar companies. We did get a slight discount booking both tours with the same company. The two trips were Phi Phi/ James Bond combined tour and Raya island and Mai Ton island. It was worth getting away early to beat the crowds. And on arrival the team were ready to give us a quick outline for the day and we were off to Mai Ton and Raya islands. Chris was our tour guide on the boat and was a great guide! Taking us to all the special little spots, avoiding crowds and allowing that special experience to enjoy stunning parts of Thailand. The crew were great, friendly, and couldn’t do enough for us. We had fruit and soft drinks on the boat, Chris took some snaps throughout the day and they are available to download after the tour (free and part of the booking). At the islands we did some snorkelling in stunning reefs, and jumping off the boat in clear emerald green waters. We also asked if we could fish, which was great fun for the kids. We caught about a dozen small fish. The bays we visited were the best and so quiet compared to Phi Phi and James Bond trips. Lunch was unbelievable. We stopped at a floating restaurant which has a Michelin star to its name. We arrived and it looked a little basic. An old wooden floating restaurant that looked a little tired… but then we landed to see lots of little netted pools with fresh fish and shellfish in. If you ordered one of those you could choose it fresh and within minutes it was on your plate. The bill was quite pricy (but we did order the expensive lobster and massive shrimp) and the food was divine !! The best meal we had all holiday… and we’ve had a few nice ones. After lunch we visited some more beaches and did some more snorkelling between islands. Big shout out to Chris and the crew on the day. The admin team at the office were great throughout. Communication was swift and via WhatsApp and / or email. If I had any questions I would receive a reply within minutes. Exceptional! . The transfer was included and was very comfortable in a deluxe minibus. So we didn’t have any hassle finding the marina or getting back to our hotel. I would thoroughly recommend this company and if we are ever back in Phuket I’ll be heading out with this tour company again.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We went during the rainy season and 5 star was flexible with the day we went on the tour to help us get the best weather possible. We ended up going on a beautiful day that was sunny and mild conditions. We wanted to do something less busy so they recommended this tour as opposed to something like the PhiPhi Islands. We snorkeled in the clearest water we’ve ever been in and then had a snack on a beach with powder soft sand. We had lunch at a nearby island and spent some additional time snorkeling before we headed back. The tour guides were so helpful and accommodating of our needs and what we wanted to do. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

Fantastic company, very professional, great communication and friendly crew. Lots of choices and flexibilities to visit the Andaman islands. I would definitely recommend 5 Start Marine to anyone who wish to have a great tour.

Went in a group of 2 and had a fantastic experience. Weather was slightly rainy as it was the beginning of rainy season, but Shaun and the crew kept an eye on the weather and suggested rescheduling our tour for best day. Shaun is very responsive and was super helpful in helping us customize and pick the right tour. Have had our share of snorkeling in Phuket / Krabi over the years and had just gone to Bali the year before, so wanted to try new spots. They were great in customizing our tour to fit in our requests (ie more snorkel, less beach time, try to see dolphins / sunset). Shaun has also made some great Youtube videos introducing the tours, which was very helpful. Very memorable experience as the reef was beautiful at Racha Islands and June (our guide) and the crew did their best to help us get great some views of the dolphins at Mai Thon. June also recommended a really cool fishing village for lunch which had fantastic fresh seafood. The boat, pick-up car and office were all very clean and well maintained. Office is located in a nice marina, and had donuts and coffee - great spot for pre-tour briefing. Really fantastic and safe company to go with for snorkeling tours - would definitely recommend and come back again.

This was one of the best things we could of done on our recent trip to Patong, it was so good we booked 2 tours. Raya Islands was our second day out with 5 star marine and it was just as amazing as our first to Phi Phi and Maya Bay From the moment we made our first enquiry to the moment we said good bye to our fantastic crew at the end of our second day.... Every moment was amazing! The most amazing clean boats, the best service. the greatest views... the best days ever!! I am grateful that we found Sean and his crew at 5 Star Marine! If I Could of given more than 5 stars I would of!

This is our 3rd trip with 5 Star Marine - Shaun, as always, was the perfect organiser from start to finish - handled with ease & efficiency. Jimmy, Yellow & the team were amazing and we love being in their company. Wonderful with the little ones and attentive to us! If you didn’t guess it already - this trip is FIVE STAR - it’s in the name after all!

I did not join the trip personally but booked for guests whose satisfaction is of most paramount, definitely more than my own. I am happy to report that all of them walked away very happy and this was definitely the highlight of their Phuket trip. Thank you to Shaun and his team for pulling all the stops and deliver an astonishing performance. To be honest this is not the easiest crowd to please!

Shaun has a great team and our guide Kong made sure we had a wonderful time on our day out! From the morning hotel pickup to snorkeling in 3 different spots, lunch on a private beach, the experience was seamless and magical. We can't recommend these guys more!! Unfortunately the weather turned bad after we had left so we couldn't stay out but we went to Banana Beach to wait out the weather for a while and see if it would change but fortunately didn't. We managed to have a lovely swim before heading back to the marina. The staff were so professional and helpful and the ocean was pretty big and the captain was super safe. We still had a really enjoyable morning and would highly recommend 5 star marine. We will definitely do another trip with them when we come back to Phuket soon.

We did a private speed boat tour to Koh Racha and Koh Weh which was fabulous - Phi and the crew were very attentive and made the day super special. Great snorkelling places, crystal clear water and a brilliant restaurant for lunch. Stayed out till sunset which made the day even more magical!

We had a very special day with this team. Everything was well organized, and the crew was thoughtful and informational. We went snorkelling twice and also, saw some really beautiful landscapes. Highly recommend this team!
