We went during our stay in Tanzania on a cycling tour with Linus from Rau Eco & Cultural Tourisme. He showed us the Rau Forest in a different kind of way so that we could understand what the inpact is on the environment. This is a trip we could recommend to everyone who is in the area of Moshi. Justin is a super guy to talk to and to cycle with. Many thanks from us all.

It's been a great sensory walk through the woods. I have valued silence to listen to nature. The landscape changes have been very surprising and having planted a tree has made me feel collaborative with the world. A highly recommended experience!

Our trip with Linus was amazing! He is very knowledgeable and took his time explaining everything about the forest, its plants and species to us! We had a nature meditation which was a very peaceful and nice experience and we also picked litter on the way in order to keep this beautiful forest clean.

We had a very good time with Linus as our guide. Spending time in nature felt so good and we learnt about the nature and animals. Specially the black and white monkeys that we saw. The tour was too funny and exllence trip. I visited a big field of rice farm's and I saw some attraction found in the forest like Black and white colubus monkey, blue monkey and also the beautiful nature of the forest. And also I experienced the good climatic condition of the forest and different Birds species which are found in the forest like Greater egret, black headed weaver, grey heroin, Elemented hornbill, Blacksmith plover, African jacana.

I saw the different species in the forest and I real experience my first practice of meditation behind the huge tree called Ostigma msoo and I learned how Rice grown and i tasted the coconut water with sugarcane. It was unforgettable experience for me.

With my friends we did nature forest walk in Rau forest, the was amazing which the weather was fresh, I saw a lot of black and white colobus monkesy, blue monkeys and I was lucky to saw the rare small antelope, dik dik with it's young, the most interesting part it was the rice farming view outside the forest, I recommend every one to visit the forest.

The forest is amazing and walking offroad among big trees and monkeys was a strong experience. Ending up to the rice farms was the best surprise that linus and daniel had for us..

We had an amazing time with the Rau team. We learned so much from Daniel and his students during the walk. He knows the forest by heart and has some nice anecdotes to share about the tropical forest that surrounded us during the whole walk. Big up for Daniel’s smile !! Furthermore, we got to enjoy some nice coconut juice with some locals during the walk. We really recommend this fabulous experience. Thank you to the Rau team.

Rau forest is incredible its the largest native urban forest in the world surrounded on all sides by human development. The sanctuary offers a home to the rare colobus monkey and a few keys mammal species. The tour was incredible with the custodians Salehe, Ernest and Khalid. The sanctuary is in danger of development and deforestation. The more visitors they get the more the place will be protected. So please visit.

It was such a amazing day with Daniel, Hamis, mama Mtalo and the doctor! We shared a wonderful and lovely lunch cooked by the beautiful mama Mtalo, and after we went for a walk in the forest We had a lot of fun and lot of laugh!
