Dune bashing perfekt, Guide sehr gut aber im Camp reine Abzocke: Henna Bemalung nur winzig - alles andere heftiger Aufpreis. Gleiches gilt für shisha außerhalb der Ecke an den Toiletten (+150 AED) und Getränke (lokale Getränke - keine Marken - inkl. selbst Bier extrem teuer. Souvenirs maximal überteuert - das war sogar in Dinai am Atlantis deutlich preiswerter.

The guide mixed up the hotel location. there was not any sunset photographs. On our way back from the very mediocre dune bashing we got asked if we were even allowed to be there and to go through 4 different people to check our names. Coming from someone who lived in the middle east this is just a scam for tourists. Not a single activity there couldnt be done cheaper somewhere else. The trip is just made for people who want to take photos and nothing else. No culture nor information given. you will walk out with 0 information about anything UAE related. The bbq is terrible and everything tasted like fish. The sandboarding hill is not steep enough to sandboard in. From a residents perspective you would get more culture and enjoyment buying a karak from your neighborhood shop then going to this. They are playing off people's romantised ideas of the middle east, and increaseding the price for everything by more than double.

Unfortunately we couldn't go on the excursion because the provider wanted to pick us up an hour earlier. We had received no information about an earlier launch.

This activity is best for families with kids or groups who don’t mind having a lot of time sitting around. I expected a small group and more of a desert sightseeing trip but it was actually a big group with 80-120 people hanging around this camp. While it was a nice spot, the included activities took me ~30 mins total, aside from the „safari“, so I’m very glad I brought a book… and still left an hour early. The „safari“ was actually a train of white SUVs doing a high-speed course in the dunes. Someone else in my car threw up, so it’s not for the weak stomach… it was fun but not at all what I was looking for. I did this activity alone (another mistake… as a solo woman I felt uncomfortable at times). For big groups looking to kill time in a nice environment this is a great event. For frequent travelers and people looking for an adventure it is not.

Unfortunately, my husband and I became ill. I was then informed that I would get the money back with a doctor's confirmation. When I sent it, I was told that I wouldn't get the money back. An absolute disgrace!!

Overall everything was very good. The dune tour was the highlight. The food wasn't world class, but what do you expect in the middle of the desert for so many people? The camp offered a lot without being too intrusive.
