Absolutely amazing experience!! It was at a family farm and horses were so cute and sweet. The scenery eas amazing. We went through an incredible forest hike and saw the coolest most massive tree ever. We went swimming in a waterfall and had an incredible lunch with fresh cheese. Highly recommended your 10/10

This is by far our favorite excursion on our girls trip. Randall knows so much about the land and the beautiful creatures on it, it’s an all around amazing experience. Birder and nature lovers paradise. The horses are also well taken care of. I highly recommend!

My friends and I did this excursion on the bachelorette trip. It was easily our favorite excursion. Not only do you have a whole jungle and waterfall to yourself, but you can genuinely tell that the guide loves and cares for the land.

Absolutely amazing! Randall is a fantastic guide. I don’t know what heaven is like but I hope it’s identical to Randall’s family ranch. This was the best excursion we did the entire week we were in Costa Rica!

What a great peek into the world of Costa Rica (off the beaten path). We met Randall and followed him in our vehicle to his fathers farm - we wish we had been in the vehicle with him as we drove through the palm farms and had a lot of questions! The horses appeared well cared for and behaved themselves. Randall's son and father joined us on our ride so we had 3 generations! The land was beautiful and it was clear how much Randall enjoys sharing this place with visitors. The tour ended at a small waterfall on the property, which felt great as it was a hot day. We ended the tour with a traditional meal cooked outdoors - it was delicious. It was the highlight of our Costa Rica trip for all 5 of our family. Definitely recommend bug spray and sunscreen.

I cannot even put into words how wonderful this experience was. Randall was our tour guide, and he made sure to make it the best possible trip you could have. He pointed out wildlife, took photos, and gave you information on the background of Costa Rica. You get to swim in the most beautiful waterfall, and the trail to the waterfall has the most breathtaking views. And then at the end you receive lunch which was amazing. If I could rate this a 20/10 If I would. HIGHLY recommend booking this tour!

We enjoyed every minute of the trip: from learning about the history of the property to the current state of bringing it back to it's original beauty to the serene beauty of the property. The horses are beautiful and easy to ride. The waterfall was absolutely stunning. The home cooked lunch was delicious!

My daughter and I took the horse ride on Friday morning March 29, it was absolutely one of the most magical - and fun - experiences we’ve ever had. This is a multi-generational family who have embraced conservation and stewardship of the sizable land they own. It is NOT a typical horse tour where you are perched like a sack of potatoes on a tired horse. These horses are healthy and refreshed, gentle, peaceful and relaxed, no bits are used. They are clearly loved and well taken care of. We rode at a comfortable pace, stopping as Randall shared his knowledge of the trees, wildlife, geology, and indigenous history. You will experience a vast array of Costa Rica’s biome, play in a waterfall., take a short hike, lean against a 500 year old tree. To top it off, the best cassata lunch ever - fresh, cooked perfectly. This is one of the most special places in the world - so grateful to Randall and his family for their hospitality and stewardship of their part of the planet. Don’t miss this tour!

From start to finish this was an amazing family activity. Our guide, the horses, the waterfall, the food was all perfect!

Good communication before the tour. I was picked up promptly. We toured the private farm, which is so different from the very busy Manuel Antonio National Park. It was a small friendly group tour in the quiet farm with wildlifes and cattles. It included the refreshing dip at the waterfall. The water temperature was just right. Randell was great explaining the history of the farm. We ended with the tasty home cooked lunch, overlooking the views of the farm. Randell sent me lots of photos afterwards as it was difficult to take photos while on the horseback.

The tour was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Randall, the owner’s son, was so knowledgeable and kind. We had our two daughters with, ages 9 & 11, who were not experienced rides and Randall was so good with them! The waterfall is beautiful and food was absolutely delicious. We would definitely recommend this tour. ❤️

Our trip was amazing, the best excursion that we went on in Costa Rica. This place is very special. The family is passionate and dedicated to make your experience one of a kind. Not only did we get to ride the horses through the beautiful mountains and swim in the waterfalls but were welcomed into the family’s home and prepared a traditional dinner. From start to finish this is a tour, where our guide Randall is so committed and passionate about what he does, this is a must do tour. On route to the ranch he explains the history of the area. But the best part starts when you get on your horses, these are well cared for horses and suitable for all levels. This tour has it all, refreshing dip in the waterfall, a hike through the new forest and so great to see the care so much about their land, When you are finished the tour, you sit down to a freshly prepared lunch of rice, beans and chicken(veggie option available too) and some ice tea. Don’t hesitate to book you will not be disappointed,

Highly recommend. Randall who owns the ranch takes you around it on his docile horses, led by his Dad while he moves up and down the line to ensure everyone is happy (our group included we 2 middle aged and inexperienced with horses, along with 3 9 year old children and their mothers). Randall is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the nature and is clearly proud to show his lifetime home while discussing his plans for the future. The scenery is fabulous and it’s full of wildlife. You get to visit the forest he’s cultivating and his private waterfall for a cool off swim (only about 3 m high, but most welcome). And all rounded off with a meal cooked by his mother-in-law! What’s not to like? He picks you up and drops you home too.

This was our first time in Costa Rica. We were only here for 5 days and were somewhat limited to the amount of excursions we could do in that short time. I am so glad I found this tour! We knew we wanted to go horseback riding and there were several to choose from. This one had great reviews and I now know why. The guide Randall went above and beyond what we expected on this tour. The tour is on his family’s farm and his love and pride for this beautiful land shows as he spent so much time talking to us about the history of the property and all the beautiful fauna and flora. We took a small break from riding to go on a short hike and then another small break to walk to one of the waterfalls on the property. Randall even took several pictures of us while on the tour and sent them to us when we were done. The tour ended with a delicious authentic Costa Rican lunch prepared by his mother and waiting for us when we returned. This was definitely a highlight of our trip and I would highly recommend.

An amazing experience, very easy as a first time horse rider. The farm was beautiful and lunch was delicious.

My family (including two kids 16 and 13) had a wonderful experience! Randall picked us up at our hotel promptly and gave us an interesting lesson on the history of Quepos on the way to the ranch. Upon arrival, we received a brief lesson on riding. We were a bit nervous as non-experienced riders but the horses are very gentle and well trained. The ride through Randall's family property was gorgeous and we stopped periodically to learn more about the property and the local flora, fauna, and wildlife. Randall and his father were excellent guides and Randall took great photos of us along the way. The dip in the waterfall was very refreshing and the authentic Costa Rican lunch was delicious. Highly recommend!

Where do we start? My wife Carmen and I wanted a tour that gave us a really good taste of Costa Rica. We ride very little, but Randall our guide and a member of the family at the ranch was excellent. He gave us some tips on riding and then we set off. The horses were amazing and needed very little controlling. Randall’s knowledge of Costa Rican heritage, wildlife and birds in particular was incredible. We made our way through the most wonderful scenery of the vast ‘farm’ which went on for what seemed miles. We took time off the horses to take a short hike through the jungle where Randall pointed out various birds, special trees and details of the indigenous background which was so interesting. We then re-mounted the horses and set off for one of the many waterfalls on the property and were able to take time to cool off in the pools and under the waterfall - so refreshing! We then made our way back to the ranch where we had the most wonderful Costa Rican lunch! Of all the tours we have taken whilst here in Costa Rica, this was by far the very best. You don’t need to be an experienced horse rider - an absolute novice could handle this. We would strongly recommend that anyone looking for the best tour in the Manuel Antonio area - you must take this one, you will not regret it. A very big thank you to Randall for making the experience so special and also to his mum for the amazing lunch. We will definitely be coming back to do this again.

I never experience a horse riding like this before, the best of my life. You are feeling so free with the horse, is not follow the line constantly. All the experience is on the private property of Randall and his family. You go with him and his dad and here we go : crossing multiple times the little creek, spoting toucans,an owl and a raptor if you are lucky! Riding between the cows and then reach a beautiful spot with a waterfall. And at the end you have a lunch (typical meal of Costa Rica made by his mom) sitting in front of the property. The dream! And plus, Randall is amazing!
