Nayda was an excellent guide, super friendly and accommodating. The van ride out there was scenic but our driver Christian drove like a maniac, wasn’t great if you’re prone to motion sickness like myself. The actual trek to the mountain was very easy, only 30-45minute with the last 10 minutes being the only challenging part. The views were outstanding and since we left at a later time to the usual groups the mountain wasn’t crowded at all. Highly recommend this tour!

Overall good, but the horse ride and the stuff on the mountain were too expensive, it will be better if the guide can help us negotiate the price to be much lower.

I wish I could give this 10 STARS!! From beginning to end this has been one of the best excursions Ive ever experienced, I cannot recommend this enough! From Marco expertly navigating us through the mountains , the) drive there was long but the views stunning and the drive so smooth. From the start our guide Nayda was there assisting, whether it was knowledge of Peruvian food, flora, fauna, history she was a wealth of information- add to that sweet and super supportive(and a great photographer to boot!) . The trek isn't for the faint of heart but with Nayda as our cheerleader we made it and man was that view at the top breathtaking- literally made me cry. We saw Alpacas and Llamas on our drive and walk - a dream come true for me. We stopped for lunch at this beautiful hidden gem before making our way back, do not think about it - just book it. You will NOT regret it.

We had an amazing tour guide Nadaya and so helpful, our driver was Mario and was superb. This is a strenuous trek (17,000 feet above sea level) and it’s the same elevation of the Mount Everest base camp to give you an idea. make sure you eat a good breakfast and they do bring snacks as well. Highly recommend riding horses up and down the mountain and you’ll have a guide leading the horse so you save your energy. It is cold up at the top so bring warm clothes that you can layer in as well. The restaurant after the hike was amazing!

The whole experience was awesome. The tour guide Nayda did a perfect job. She shared a lot of cultural information with the whole group. Even tho the little hiking might be a tough it is worth every penny. The view of all the mountains are beautiful, the roadtrip is also awesome. Our driver was Mario and he did an excellent job to keep us all safe. I recommend this tour %100

I did a Rainbow Mountain 8am tour about a week ago and it was awesome! First, the tour departs at 8am unlike others which gives you extra time to sleep and get breakfast. Second, when you get there everybody else already leaves so you get the mountain all to yourself to take photos and enjoy the views! Our guide Nayda also was a good photographer and very accommodating when it came to getting the horses to go to the top. I also appreciated her little bits of information on a bus drive there (which other excursions didn’t offer). The lunch arranged by the company was also quite delicious and served at the right time after the tour. They even give you warm towels after the tour to wipe your hard which is a nice little detail. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a rainbow mountain tour.

We embarked on a private 8 am tour with our guides in the morning. The journey from Cusco to the mountain took approximately 4 hours, which seemed quite lengthy to me initially. However, upon our arrival, the brisk cold air invigorated us. Our guide provided a boxed breakfast with coffee, which replenished our energy for the hike ahead. We opted out to rent horses and were so glad we did. Make sure to bring cash as they are locals who rent horses, not the tour company. The last section of the hike is not reachable by horse, so guests had to hike two parts, one to the lower part and one to the peak, which was quite steep. The tour had oxygen masks prepared just in case, luckily no one in my group needed it that day. The trek reaches an altitude of over 5000 meters above sea level and involves uphill sections. If you're in good physical condition, you shouldn't encounter any issues. I’d suggest saving the energy and get the horses. About an hour into the hike, we encountered the first mountain. Thirty minutes later, we stumbled upon a few more, which were truly stunning. At some point, we were provided a delightful spot to pause, snack, take pictures, and rest. The hike down was much easier. Since the tour involves some challenging elements, both guides were very attentive throughout the hike to make sure everyone was ok and did not fall behind. Overall, I really enjoyed the tour and I think the guides did an excellent job. One suggestion to the tourists - please, tip your guides as they work hard to ensure everyone’s safety and make sure you’re having a great time. Eventually, we returned to a nearby town, where we enjoyed a boxed lunch before heading back to Cusco. We arrived in Cusco around 19:30. The hike was truly incredible; witnessing mountains of different colors all in one day was a remarkable experience. Although the hike was tiring, it was undoubtedly worth it! Opting for this more expensive excursion was definitely a right choice and worth every penny!

Had an amazing time - we had Ronald as our guide. Not only was he a great guide but an even better photographer! He took a ton of photos that me and my girlfriend were extremely impressed with. Also since it’s a later tour we had the mountain peak all to ourselves Ronald thank you so much for making the tour memorable and an even bigger thanks for capturing the perfect photos !

We enjoyed our guided trip to see the Rainbow Mountain. Ronald, our guide, was very knowledgable about all the interesting facts on various regional cultural elements. He was also generous in sharing important and helpful information needed to climb up to 15000 ft. elevations. One suggestion I would offer is to schedule the meal earlier in the day, not at 4:45 pm. It was originally announced for 2:30 pm. So we were left to wait to eat at the end of our trip.

Nayda and our driver were amazing! I flew into Cusco early in the morning and they arrived promptly at 7:45am to pick me up. The company knew I wanted to see Rainbow Mountain without enough time to acclimate and communicated that once a group booked the time I was available, they would notify me so that I could join the tour. There was an accident on the road, that the driver was able to eventually maneuver around and get us to the mountain. We were told many interesting facts about the area and Peruvian people. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to go as I felt Nayda was very knowledgeable and the driver was experienced and safe!

Great experience, highly recommend guide Naida and driver Hugo. Well planned, good snacks and a really nice lunch. Used the horses for going up the hill, and then walked down. Afternoon on the mountain really lived up to the promises, not many people there at all. Naida also had some equipment and products to help reduce the impact of altitude sickness, worked out well for us in the end!

This is a great trip and because of the later start you can sleep in and when you get to the mountain there is hardly anyone there. Our guide Ronald and driver were really good and the lunch was very nice.

The tour was efficiently organized, the restaurant served delicious food, the ambiance was pleasant, and we took some great photos. However, my experience soured at the end when I tried to leave a tip. Although I intended to give 50 soles, I only had 200 soles and asked for change. The person claimed to only have 40 soles, which left me feeling rushed and confused when we stopped on the street. In the end, I reluctantly handed over my cash, although I doubted she really had that little change, especially considering that 160 soles is a significant amount for a young solo traveler.

I picked this tour based on time, but I will recommend to friends based on the service. Nayda the tour guide is a gem. Late arrival meant few people on the summit: we saw approximately 50 vans in the parking lot when we arrived, but fewer than 5 vans left when we departed as most tours were already climbing down when we started to ascend. Great lunch and snacks as well. Overall this has to be the best way to see the Rainbow mountain.

We did the private Rainbow tour with PPT. The overall experience was fantastic. The tour started exactly on time. The driver was a very accurate and careful driver. Our guide Manuel was very polite, patient and friendly with us. He helped coordinate motorbikes for part of our group and then he hiked together with the rest of the group. The hike for us was difficult due to high altitude , however Manuel encouraged us to keep continuing at our own pace and frequently checked how we were feeling. It was breathtaking views! Afterwards Manuel showed different path back to parking lot, that it felt that we were alone at the mountains and.could deeply burn in our memories all the beautiful views. It was nice gesture to receive some snacks with water and juice. After the tour we had very tasty dinner in amazing place that was beautiful, relaxing and very clean. We felt very special. Definitely recommend PPT and Manuel.

Our tourguide Nadia is the best! She made sure that all our needs are taken cared for. She also spoke good English. I am pleasantly surprised with our lunch! Never expected it to be this good! Try the trout and lomo. Will recommend to my friends.

This was a wonderful experience! Four hours of travel one way to undertake a challenging ascent, witness the breathtaking beauty of mountain landscapes, and converse with llamas was absolutely worth every effort. The trip with Ronald, who served as both guide and driver (unfortunately, I didn’t remember the name), was exceptionally comfortable, safe, and conducted with care. Thank you, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

This trip was fantastic! Communication with the company was really clear including a detailed list of recommended things to bring and what we'd need cash for (park entrance and renting horses). Pick up was easy and punctual and in a really comfortable and spacious car. Ronald gave us interesting information throughout the long journey about the towns we were passing through with options to make stops if we wanted to. It really helped to pass the time! When we arrived at the mountain, Ronald had all the first aid equipment and oxygen monitors and tanks as well if we needed them. The benefit of going later, as well as some extra sleep, was that we pretty much had the summit to ourselves and didn't have to deal with any crowds. After getting to the summit and having our photos, we drove half the way back to Cusco and stopped for lunch which was really lovely with very clean facilities! Ronald deserves a special shout out for being so informative, supportive and entertaining throughout the whole day as well as for our fabulous driver who skilfully navigated the winding mountain roads!

Our trip to Rainbow Mountain was perfect from start to finish. Rhonald (our guide) was punctual picking us up at our hotel, courteous throughout the day and very accommodating to all guests in our small group of 4 travellers. The best part of this tour was the fact that we left at 8:00am which meant we arrived at the mountain when everyone else was finishing up, Consequently, our photos were of the amazing scenery and free from any other tourists waiting to get their ‘perfect shot’. It felt like the mountain was entirely ours to explore. It’s absolutely worth the 4 hour drive from Cusco to see this spectacular site. Highly recommend this tour.

Great service! Rhonald and Pedro they were the best guide and driver, excellent service! I highly recommend them! The best thing was the time that Ronald chose because that way we arrived when there were no more tourists and we could take photos practically alone with the mountains! It was the 8 am tour! I also recommend that you go on horseback because the altitude is 16,350 feet high and if you have not been in Cusco for several days to acclimatize to the altitude it can be dangerous.
