This was the perfect day!!! Rhonald made sure everything went smoothly and we had the best time and I can’t thank Rhonald enough! The timing was excellent, food (breakfast and lunch) was delicious, and had a lot of time to enjoy the hike, the views and take pictures before it got too crowded. Rhonald made sure we were feeling good and enjoying the whole time, I absolutely recommend this tour!

Wow an incredible adventure worthy of 10 stars. Our guide Victor helped us make the time on rainbow mountain very special with a blessing to pachamama and extra pics to remeber the trek. I would absolutely do this again and I would use crossover tours for all my Peru experiences.

Luz is AMAZINGGG and subtly funny too! We were a group of 7 visiting from US. Our trip was on Saturday. She came to the hotel to give us a briefing and preparation tips for the hike/trek. She was very thorough with planning. We had a Van ready at 5 am sharp right outside our hotel as planned. She had arranged breakfast for us at a very unique private site in Cusipata. Real PERU meal and experience. At the start of the hike, she provided everybody with walking sticks and ‘agua de Floridas! some members were slow, she stayed with the slowest one and made sure everyone was safe. When at the top, views are breathtaking and she explained in detail about the formation and colors of Rainbow mountain. One of our friends developed Altitude sickness and she had portable Oxygen cylinders and it helped tremendously. Lunch was again at the same place and just fantastic! We can’t rave enough about her and she has a charm about her that is so likeable! We highly recommend her if you are visiting the area!

Luz and Yaritza were great guides, supportive and encouraging. Both were great with conversation as we made the hike. Breakfast and lunch were delicious at a local spot on the way. Leaving early was totally worth it as we beat the crowd to the mountain top. Pachamama ceremony at end was great.

Had a great time during the tour with Luz! She kept everyone in the group motivated and I had a great conversation with her on the hike as well! I would highly recommend this and would be more than happy to do it again!

The landscape is beautiful and our guide Yaritza knew so much about the area and the community. It was a perfect day. I have only positive things to say.

I always wanted to go to a mountain of colors, and I think it was the best choice, since I contacted them they gave me all the necessary information. The guide Kevin helped me on the walk, we went very slowly. When we arrived it was all beautiful. We stayed a long time. When we return we have local food for lunch. It was a great experience. I recommend this tour after knowing Machu Picchu

Our guide was Edgar and pickup was at 3:30am on the dot. Stopped for breakfast about 2 hrs away which was a buffet and delicious (they had coffee and eggs, among other things). Then drove appx 1 more hour to reach the entrance. Very glad we took a private tour because the elevation was rough and we needed to take our time. Edgar was very patient and helpful. We rode horses part of the way up which was 30 soles each. There are bathrooms along the way that are 1 sol each. The last part of the trail you cannot ride a horse and was very steep, but we slowly made it. Had some coca tea at the top, stamped the passport, took some pics and started heading back. Walking back was a breeze in comparison...first descent can be hard on the knees but otherwise ok. Lunch on the way back was a buffet at the same breakfast place and was very good. Definitely worth it and do not regret paying extra for a private guide.

A small group tour is the way to go with Rainbow Mountain, beat the crowds and enjoy the views without hundreds of people at the summit. Our tour guide Kevin was great, he answered our questions, helped arranged horses for us, administered first aid when I needed it, and, overall, was an awesome bilingual guide. Home cooked breakfast and lunch was provided and it was delicious and gave us a authentic cultural experience. Highly recommend this company and Kevin.

I just had the pleasure of traveling with Daniel and Tigre and they took wonderful care of our group. Daniel as our guide was very informative about the challenges we would face on our ascent and helped us prepare for the weather, the atmosphere, and the physical rigor of the journey. Together, Daniel and Tigre kept our whole group together and helped keep everyone on pace yet, also comfortable and safe. Daniel is also so warm, personable and funny and did a great job with storytelling. He spent time informing us of the geological and environmental importance of Rainbow mountain, while still gauging the group’s interest and tempering his approach based on our interests. Tigre helped care for people who were trailing in our group. He helped several of us climb the summit and find the best places for unforgettable pictures. Thank you so much, guys! We had an amazing time, with great memories and even better photos!

Michael was our fabulous tour guide for trek up to Rainbow mountain. He did an excellent job of briefing us the day prior (at our hotel) of what was expected and needed for the hike up to 16,522 ‘ to witness the beauty of the Andes . He was informative , friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture of the Inca people as well as the terrain. I highly recommend this tour if you have a day in Cusco ! Short, challenging hike at high altitude but worth the view. The landscape is impressive and a definite must do when visiting Cusco!

I was visiting Peru with Under30Experiences. We went to rainbow mountain with CrossoverPeru and had Kevin as our guide and Jimmy as our driver. Everything went very smooth. Transportation was clean and safe. Kevin was awesome, especially with his Rocky soundtrack. Kevin also carried oxygen and some smelling liquids to help with any altitude issues our group had. The previous day I had also went to the salt mines with Kevin as our guide and Walter as our driver. Kevin was great with all of our impatient questions.
