Our guide Ariel was very knowledgeable of the rapids and had a good sense of humor. We enjoyed the trip very much. The tour operators were very responsive to our questions and were very accommodating. Highly recommend!!

If you’re ever in Costa Rica, this is a must Our tour guide was awesome from beginning to end. We drove from San Jose to the meeting point, from there we left our car there and drove on the tour bus. From the moment we got to the rafting place, it was a go, no time wasting. Our tour guide made the trip so memorable with the history lessons and the jokes, it was simply a trip to remember. I’m not gonna lie to you, it’s a very active excursion, we had snacks in between, be prepared to be tired at the end but it’s worth it, the food at the end was incredible. Overall book it, it’s worth it.

I recently had the best rafting experience of my life on the Pacuare River! It's easily in the top 5 spots for white water rafting in India. The photos they took were incredible, better than HD quality 😉. Even when we hit class 4 rapids, their instructions at the start made everything smooth sailing with no issues. First of all I would to thank you whole team as they have communicated very well, timeline response, flexible and welcoming. 1) They have designed our package very well. 2) The bus was on time and comfortable bus. 3) The rafting guides were responsible and very good. 4) They have arranged separate food for vegetarian and non vegetarian. 5) The photographer captured beautiful memories of our group. Well is an amazing experience . Departure was in time . We made the first stop for breakfast , food is good . Second stop is the last before you hit the water and is to get the last supplies . Once in the river the experience is amazing , the scenario and the scenes are fabtastic . The boat leader amazing as well , knowledgeful of the nature and the river soroundings . After the river your down for lunch , good food and the transport is smooth and on time . Profesionalism and great treatment all the time . The pack of pictures is amazing as well . Recommeneded to anybody that wants to have a blast and fun time rowing down the river

The best white water experience I have ever had! Rio Pacuare has to be one of the most scenic natural rivers in Costa Rica. Unbelievable water, birds, rain forest...even an amazing canyon. The team Ariel and Habib made sure we got the most adventure the wild River could offer us. What a team! Highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to experience the real Pura Vida!

Don’t hesitate to book this activity. Value is very worth it. Firstly you have to arrange transportation going to and leaving Turrialba, but, once you get to their office; they will pick you up and drive you to the site. Very fun guides, Ariel and Fernando were fun and also very accommodating. They also took so many great pictures and there is no pressure to buy after. Dont lose your slippers! Good meal at the end.

Such an amazing experience!! The scenery was beautiful, we saw several waterfalls and we stopped halfway for fruit and a short walk to a waterfall. Our guide Ariel was so much fun, made us feel completely safe and also added some extra excitement. Fernando took amazing photos. We had a delicious lunch when we got back. Highly recommend the trip and Adrenalina!

The rafting was wild and amazing. Nature on the river was stunning. Our guide Fernando ensured an awesome experience by giving lots of information about wildlife and points of interest in the scenery. Furthermore, he was very competent in captaining the raft and giving instructions, making me feel quite safe. The food at the end of the tour was high quality.

My wife and I had no experience white water rafting, but our guide Ariel did a great job of teaching us everything we needed to know and he made it a fun learning process. The rafting down the river was one of the most breathtaking tours I have taken. Fernando was super helpful and took some amazing pictures to help us remember the experience. The snack and lunch were delicious too. From start to finish it was the best tour we have ever been on.

Saved rafting with adrenalina until our last day. Correct decision. Fernando and Ariel were fantastic. Made you feel safe at all times and really made the experience amazing. The pictures we bought were absolutely amazing. It is a full on day and you’re shattered by the end of it but one of the highlights of our trip.

Words can’t describe how amazing this experience was. We did our research, decided on this outfitter, and we are so glad we did. To begin, the owner was very responsive with answering our questions over the phone. We had our own transportation, and met them in Turrialba. After that we headed down to the drop in point to get ready for the float! Our experience consisted of Fernando, our river guide for the day, and his brother Ariel, a master kayaker and guide, who rode along side us to provide safety and capture photos. These guys were fanstastic. They are both extremely knowledgeable of this river as they have floated it thousands of times. They are also really nice guys and a pure pleasure to be around. The whole trip on the water itself lasted about 4-hours and we traversed roughly 14-miles of river bed. Words can’t describe how beautiful this river is. You are literally surrounded by jungle and sounds of nature the entire time. Most importantly, this outfitter knows what they are doing and the experience they provide is what makes this amazing. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. I should also mention the comida tipica lunch at the end (rice, beans, meat with a vegetarian option available) is absolutely fantastic. If possible, ask for Fernando and Ariel. However, I am sure you’ll have a good experience whoever is leading you. Please keep in mind a lot of people in Costa Rica don’t make money like travelers do. This experience is an amazing price for what you pay. Please tip your guides well. You’ll have the main river guide and and your photographer on this trip, and I highly suggest at least $20 USD or more (convert to whatever currency you use) as a tip. Also be sure to pay the very reasonable cost for the photos (an option at the end). When you get the photos back you’ll be glad you tipped well as these guys are professional. In summary, you are missing out if you come to Costa Rica and don’t do this. This is worth a detour if it isn’t already a primary destination for your trip, which it should be. Side note, Turrialba has plenty going on and there are some fantastic places to stay. Thanks guys…Pura Vida!

Such beautiful scenery and Fernando was a great guide. We loved swimming in the waterfall when we took our snack break. It was a wonderful experience!
