Our tour leader (Adrian) speaks English very well. He explained everything about Ecuador. He is very on time when he picked me up. The hiking was very rough but he made everything so easy and we made it until the end. He is so friendly. He asked one by one why visited Ecuador and we are like knowing of each other for so long. He remember our name as well. I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed my tour! I booked last minute and Quito Tour Bus was super accommodating for my last minute change of plans. My guide, Ernesto spoke great English and was very kind and knowledgeable. He even took our photos and we had a very fun time the whole day! Ernesto is the best tour guide in Quito! I 100% recommend

For this tour we had driver Andres and our guide was Irene. Irene was a fun and entertaining guide that made sure we had an amazing view at every stop we took. From the moment we met her she was very attentive. She shared information of every place we went to from the Tigua stop at the canyon, to the indigenous lady we met along the way, explaining their way of life, to the descent to the Quilotoa lagoon and back up. Also the stop at the flower lady and the famous local artist's gallery along the way, it was all fun and informative. Irene was there to assist and inform us at every moment. As a photographer, I was able to capture some amazing memories. Thank you very much.

An amazing experience a big thank you to tour guide Irene and driver Jimmy! A great tour to experience the lagoon and see how the indigenous people live their lives in the area. Guide had fantastic knowledge and was able to answer every single question asked by the group. I went solo and felt very welcomed and would recommend to others.

This trip was a great trip. Camilla was an awesome guide with great energy to ensure you have an enjoyable day. Be warned, walking back up from the bottom of the crater is very physically demanding, particularly if you have only been t altitude for a short time. Mules will bring you up from the bottom (for $10 per person), or you don’t have to go all the way down to enjoy the great view of the crater. We also really enjoyed visiting the small local farm and seeing the way of life outside the city. (This stop also provides great photo opportunities with lamas and Guinea pigs too!) Would do this tour again.

The Quilotoa crater is a beautiful location, the hike back up is quite challenging and we got a lot of rain on top of it so not an easy tour but definitely worth the trip. Our guide Irene was awesome, super friendly and energetic, spoke good english and took good care of us.

We did this tour with Alejandro and we really enjoyed all the stops along the way. This was the second tour we did with Quito Tour Bus after the Cotopaxi tour. Alejandro explain everything really well and kept us informed when we ran into an unexpected road block with a bike race that nobody was informed of ahead of time. Even though we were behind schedule we still managed to hit all the targeted stops and had a great time exploring Quilotoa. High recommend this tour operator and their professional guides.

We took this tour on December 29th. Adrian (our guide) and Mauricio (our driver) were awesome and went above and beyond to make this an incredible experience that my family will never forget. Highly recommend.

Everything was as described plus more. Camila(Guide) was personable with all of us and just a joy to be around for the trip. I don’t think there was one person on the trip who was disappointed in the least.

Camile was our tour guide and she was amazing . The trip itself was so much fun . I got to walk down to the lake and yes it was gruesome to go back up but nevertheless was a fun experience. Again thank you Camile !

The tour was great. Irene the tour guide was full of energy and provided a lot of extra information during the drive and also taught us different words. She was great. Irene provided us guidance and time to meet back for lunch, which allowed everone in the grouo to explore, which I really appreciated.

The tour was great! Our tour guide Irene was exceptional! She was so enthusiastic to share her knowledge of Ecuador, and the region we were in near Quilotoa. Irene even taught us some words in the indigenous language on the drive back! If you are thinking about doing any tour… Ask for Irene you won’t be disappointed! My only regret is I forgot to tip her for her excellent guidance. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Remember to tip!

Quilotoa was amazing and definitely is something that you should do if you are in Ecuador. The hike back up is not as bad as everyone says it is if you are in decent shape and you stop to rest every once in a while. But they didn't leave us enough time on the tour to hike down and explore and hike all the way back up. There were too many stops at the beginning of the tour that were unnecessary.

The lagoon is beautiful but the hike back up is very challenging.(you can pay for a ride on a mule for 10$ if needed). It is along drive to get there 3 to 3:30 but the scenery is beautiful. There are only a couple of extra stops along the way so it was a low key excursion. It worked well for us as a third trip since we had already received a lot of information previously. Our guide didn’t speak very much compared to the other tours.

Fantastic tour with a knowledgeable guide - it was a fun experience including visiting an indigenous family, an art gallery and a fun but tough hike down the crater. Weather was perfect and allowed an amazing view of the lake.
