I went on a phenomenal 3-day tour with Quito Tour Bus that took us to Quilotoa, Baños, and Cotopaxi. It was an awesome adventure tour made even better by our tour guide, Dani and driver. The stops and logistics were well planned out. I received detailed information about the tour and pick up time the night before from the coordinator, Grace who arrange my pick up at an AirBnB. Our group was a total of 4 backpackers plus Dani and the driver. Dani is by far the best tour guide I have ever had. She is knowledgeable, spirited, enthusiastic, and has so much pride in showing people her country. She went above and beyond to show us (and in some cases, have us taste) the local gastronomy in the form of ice creams, candies, fruits and other dishes and drinks. She was the right amount of engaging without feeling like she had to talk for the entirety of the tour. The tour involves many hours in a van driving to each location. The van we were in was very comfortable. Breakfast was provided and included for us at our accommodations for two mornings of the tour. Everywhere we ate felt authentic and natural based on our itinerary. We loved this tour and thought the value was high for what we paid for. I will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ecuador!

Andrés was our professional driver. He drove very safely for two days, with zero issues or concerns. Adrián was our personal guide who guided us through both days of Quilotoa/Banos. He provided friendly conversation and interaction while keeping the schedule. He made intelligent adjustments to the schedule, according to the weather, and provided us with spectacular views. He also added in personal flair to the trip, I hope you get the same experience by having him as your guide. You can make a special request for him while booking.

I loved every part of this trip - such a brilliant way to see some of the natural beauty of Ecuador and understand the ways of life. It enabled me to see all the highlights without feeling rushed which was perfect for me as I was on quite a tight schedule. A bonus we were blessed with great weather but I don't doubt it would still be brilliant without. Pack for changes in climate! It was chilly in the highlands, and shorts weather in Banos - especially for the waterfall and canopying. Andres our driver was wonderful - I felt so safe on the trip and he was always ready with a smile and helping hand. Adrián was an absolute stand out guide - one of the best I've ever had. Kind, fun, friendly and knowledgable, a total gem. Adrián was also my guide for Cotopaxi the day before and he was brilliant with our larger group - flexible and supportive with everyone's mixed abilities and needs. Thank you for a memorable three days 😊

Dani and Ivan were our tour guides. We did SO MUCH and it was so fun! Definitely recommend. The price is extremely reasonable. The tour guides speak English and help with every aspect of the trip.

The 2 days tour with the guide Adrian was amazing! Everything was well scheduled and can fit all ages and the most incredible thing was our guide Adrian ! He was so nice and has a lot of knowledge about the history of Ecuador, the natives and the nature. He was always happy to answer our questions and it was always really fun having a conversation with him. You could really tell he loves his job and his great vibe made the experience so much better! And also he speaks English fluently.

Just I want to say thank you Misa for this wonderful tour in our first day we went to Quilotoa which was amazing the hiking was challenge but worth during on the way towards there we stopped and meet a indigenous family where Misa provided information about them (even was my first time that haul one guinea pig in my hands ) in our second day we were in Baños where we visited some waterfalls including the Pailon del Diablo which was my favorite .Misa take her time for show us some natives fruits which I appreciate given that because I love trying new things really thanks Misa . Guys if you have chance to take one tour with him, it will worth it

Had an awesome time at Quilotoa and Baños. The guide Adrian and driver Ivan went out of their way to make the tour extra good with additional activities like visiting a place that makes candy and fruit tasting. They provided lots of helpful information and were very good with helping us communicate our nut allergy when getting food.

Great time had by all. Kids had a great time. We were able to see things we would not have seen otherwise

This is a must do tour! Our guide, Misael, and driver, Ivan, provided outstanding services. They both went above and beyond to ensure our group had an AMAZING time. I strongly recommend the two day tour to Quilotoa and Banos. It’s jammed pack activities and adventures. Misael was very knowledgeable and always willing to meet everyone’s needs. Ivan made sure we made it to each of our destinations safely and on time. They both are an asset to the tour company.

The tour was incredible, we started off by going to Quilotoa and it was stunning. The hike is not easy but it’s definitely worth it! And you are rewarded by a nice lunch afterwards. Then we left for Banos and stopped by several very interesting stops on the way. The next day Banos was very beautiful. We woke up earlier to enjoy the natural hot springs and I definitely recommend doing that! In the morning the view was beautiful and it was such a nice and energizing way to start the day. Then we completed some activities in Banos, like swinging on the swing and visiting waterfalls, all of which left amazing memory. The highlight of the whole tour was our tour guide, Irene, she definitely made the trip much more authentic and enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable and funny, which is a great combination in a tour guide. Her energy was always up, which helped a lot at difficult times, like going up the Quilotoa :) one of the best trips I have been to, and it is definitely thanks to Irene and her beautiful country of Ecuador.

As a solo traveler, I was having difficulty finding a tour company that I could book a tour with, when there were no other participants. Quito Bus Tour came through with flying colors! Ernesto was my guide, and he was superb. Patient, informative and kind, I felt that both he and Quito Bus tour company were really invested in making sure I had the best tour possible. Quilotoa was breathtaking and we also visited a family farm, a painters studio and had a nice lunch at a restaurant nearby. The ride to Baños takes a while, but the time flew by due to the interesting conversations we had. The tour price was very affordable, so the hotel/hostel in Baños reflects the price point. It’s a clean, basic accommodation but the staff is friendly and committed to making you comfortable during your stay. One caveat, if you are a light sleeper I recommend bringing ear plugs. I find that the soundproofing in the majority of places I have stayed in Ecuador, (including Airbnb apartments) is not that great. Because of the weather and other circumstances I didn’t do any extreme activities but still had an amazing second day visiting beautiful waterfalls, stopping at a spa, going for a swing and riding a small cable car over a rushing River and waterfall. Lunch was also very good. When I booked with Quito Bus Tour, I was concerned that because it seemed to be a larger tour bus company, it might feel impersonal with a large number of tourists in the group. But in fact this company is a family owned business committed to personal satisfaction and it wasn’t impersonal at all.

This tour was a fantastic time! We did the three-day, two-night tour beginning on December 26 and coming back on the 28th. We started early in the morning on the 26th and made our way to breakfast, where unfortunately our bus broke down. However, no worries ... we were able to hop on another bus with Veronica as our guide and Carlos as our driver. We got to Cotopaxi volcano safely, and Veronica and Carlos were so hospitable and kind. My partner got some altitude sickness, and they were very helpful. They helped us with another tour company to take us down from the parking area of Cotopaxi to get down to a lower elevation until our tour bus could come and pick us up. I appreciated Carlos' and Veronica's concern. After staying the night at Chuquiragua Lodge and having a very tasty lunch/dinner, we were picked up by our bus and then transferred to another tour bus, this one a double-decker bus(!), with Carlos as our driver again and another Carlos as our guide. We drove to Quilotoa Lagoon, and some of the tourists went on a hike, whilst we stayed in town to walk around, which Carlos was totally cool with. After that adventure, we left quite late to drive to Banos. We didn't get there until late at night, too late to really check out the area. The next day, after breakfast at La Chimenea Lodge, we had a grand time driving to our different destinations ... Puntzan Canopy for zip lining and so much more; going on the swing and taking pictures at El Arbol al Fin del Mundo; taking a cable car over the river near the waterfall and checking out a guava factory; and of course, going to El Pailon del Diablo waterfall! We ate a very nice meal along the way, and we got back to our original hotel very late at night. We thanked Carlos and Carlos immensely. I recommend this tour company highly, but remember, you'll be on a schedule, and if you don't mind that, your trip will be "chevere"! (awesome!)

The tour was one of the best in my life! Our tour guide Ernesto was so kind and joyful, always sharing a lot of information and giving us all possible options. In Banos we did 2 swings, a lot of zipplining, waterfalls, cable cars, tried amazing fruits and local food. Ernesto was paying attention to details and made this trip the highlight of Ecuador! Hearty recommended 😊

We had a wonderful 2-day experience visiting Quilotoa and Baños with the very kind and enthusiastic Misa and his trustworthy driver Andres. On our way to Quilotoa, Misa showed us how knowledgeable he was regarding medicinal plants and local agriculture whilst also teaching us a few Quechua words. He always answered questions with a smile and gave the group plenty of time to take pictures of the Quilotoa crater lake, go kayakking and hike upwards again. During our drive to Baños he made a very kind gesture by gifting the group (all girls) roses and he also treated us to the local helado! We also had a great day in Baños, from ziplining to visiting Casa del Arbol and the Paillon del Diablo waterfall. Misa took great pictures of the group! The experience might have been even better if we would have had a bit more time to enjoy all the activities.

We appreciated Jaqui and Andrés sharing their knowledge of the area with us. Along the route they provided cultural and historical insights that we would have not know otherwise.

Wow, the tour was awesome. Our tour guide Adrian and our driver Guillermo were so friendly and knowledgeable. If your visiting Ecuador this tour is an absolute must. Adrian taught us so much about the country and the culture, and all the stops were incredible: from the crater lake, to the water falls, to the beautiful country side. Adrian's English was so good, it really made the trip for me and my friends super easy. He taught us some Spanish too, and we got to try some really delicious foods that he picked out for us. Overall, the tour was perfect. If you want to see and learn about Ecuador this is a must. And once again I highly recommend Adrian!

This 2 day tour was fantastic and our guide, Adrian, and driver, Guillermo, were the reason our experience was so much fun and stress-free! Adrian went out of his way to make sure we experienced everything we wanted/could in our short time available, including making a stop at a farmers market to purchase local fruits for us to try and helping us find a great restaurant with live music and dancing in Banos. Quilotoa was beautiful and Banos full of adventure, so anyone looking for awe-inspiring views and adrenaline-inducing activities will love this tour! If you can request a specific guide, ask for Adrian. You won’t be disappointed!

What a wonderful trip we had with Adrian. He was such a knowledgeable tour guide. The tour gives you the best views from each place, plus, you have enough time to take pictures and enjoy in every stop. Recommended!
