I would not Recommend this place. At the cruise port we were charged $46.00 each. My 12 year old was charged full price at the port because the lady said he was tall so he was an adult. We were told it would be a great beach, authentic food, and unlimited drinks. The beach was ok for Progresso, the food had a side of flies and consisted of some chicken with onions and cabbage, stale nacho chips, nacho cheese, black bean juice (no black beans were in it) and watermelon. The drinks were made in gallon containers. I did not drink any because the containers looked like there were better days. My family did not want to chance getting sick so we opted out of any of it. Though they had bottles of water we were told they were not for guest. The seating on this picture was not at all what we had. The entire experience was awful. I am sure you can find a better place to spend your time and money while in Progresso. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

The guide we met up with was rude when I seen her name was not one of the 3 I was given to meet with. The food was decent. Kept getting hassled by people selling stuff. People demanding tips. The water was very murky which couldn't be helped.

We had a deal with a trip to XCambio ruins along with the beach club. It was awesome!!! Shout out to our absolutely fantastic tour guide Mario Lopez and driver Antonio!!! Mario was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the history. He also came around to everyone in the group at the club to ask if we were having a good time or needed anything. Would definitely recommend!!!!!

Do not buy this. I purchased this and transportation was supposed to be included but never been contacted from the travel agency or tripadvisor on where or when to get the transportation to this place. I ended up spending 80 dollars on taxi round trip. When I get to the Tecnohotel Beach, they won't accept this reservation!!! The hotel staff said they only accept the pass purchased through the local staff or a pass purchased directly bought from the hotel! Also, it was only 20 dollars per person instead of this outrageous price from Tripadvisor. Do not buy this, it will ruin your vacation.

Let me start by saying we didn’t leave the port for an hour it took an hour to get there the man that was driving the bus was almost out of gas he took us to the wrong place at first and then have to turn around and take us to the right place we spent four hours trying to get there we only had an hour and a half to stay at the beach and the iguana was everywhere The beach is very small we did not have a beach table you did not have a waiter it was a kind of self-serve type of thing just not cool at all I would not recommend

Overall a good experience, the ride from the pier was approximately 30 minutes each way. The ride is shared so there are other stops along the way. Due to the large sand dune the water at the site is not "crystal clear", but it is clean! The buffet is limited, but it does the job. The drinks were perfect! :)

We were actually taken to the Sicler beach club because the tour operator said they had problems with the Technohotel beach club. Sicler was wonderful and the tour operator Shore Excursions Mexico did a great job.

No lo recomiendo para nada fuimos a conocer Progreso hay lugares muy bonitos pero una guía nos vendió un paquete a tecno hotel lo cual nos arruinó nuestra estancia en Progreso ya que no te pides meter al mar no había sombrillas de playa la comida es mala y por estarnos ahí todo el día ya no conocimos lo bonito del puerto. No deberían ofrecer ese lugar a los turistas de los cruceros es una pésima opción
