For our final day in Taipei, we opted for a half-day private tour of Yangmingshan, expertly guided by Mr. Hicks Wang. Pre-tour communication was superb. Hicks promptly picked us up at our hotel in a super clean, comfortable vehicle. Although the day started off rainy, he adjusted the tour sites so that each could be seen in better light as the weather improved. We covered a lot of ground within Yangmingshan, saw some spectacular sights, and ate at a local restaurant with some of the best free-range chicken and wild vegetables that I’ve ever had. Hicks was super apologetic about the weather (of which he had no control, of course) and insisted on taking us to see some additional sights that were not on the itinerary as the skies cleared. Overall, what a wonderful way to spend our last moments in Taiwan! I would wholehearted recommend Hicks Wang as your guide!

Henry was fantastic! The weather didn’t cooperate with us but Henry came up with an alternate itinerary. We did go to Yangmingshan and saw the cherry blossoms and flower clock. We then went to Beitou and dipped our feet in the hot springs. We went to a Buddhist temple and then went to longshan temple. Henry provided us with so much Taiwan history and introduced us to Buddhist/taoist customs. We had a lovely lunch at a local restaurant that has been in existence for over 100 years. We expressed interest in tea and he took us to a friend whose family is in the tea business and we sampled some teas. We had a wonderful day and highly recommend Henry and his tour company!

Jimmy was a wealth of knowledge about everything. We got in a tremendous amount of things with him leading the way. We did a lot of hiking, sight seeing and I enjoyed the day very much. He was a very excellent driver and really customized the tour to what I wanted to do.

The tour was very well organised with many points of interest. It was ideal to get out and see the country so close to the city. The tour guide, Steven, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. He made a great tour even better. He would be one of the best tour guides we have ever encountered.

We enjoyed our tour with Steven very much. It was great to get out into the countryside and fresh air. Lots of great walks to see the sights. The last place there were some stairs but as it was a private tour we could go at our own speed.👍

We spent the day in Yangminshan with Hicks, our driver. Wonderful trip. Enjoyed the scenery and landscape.

Nice relaxing day. Steven did a great job explaining the details at each of our stops. Really enjoyed the volcanic interpretive center.

The guide picked us up at our hotel in his car and he drove us up into the mountains overlooking Taipei. Along the way he showed us some landmarks in Taipei. He recommended a great restaurant in the mountains. James was the guide’s name and he was excellent company.

Thank you Paul for being our guide and driver on Thursday the 11th of January. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this tour to others. The weather was perfect and we were very excited to see some wild buffalo’s. Paul was not only our guide and driver, but also took the time to take photos of us and personalised our tour to suit our interests. This included stopping for lunch and bubble tea!

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Qingtiangang Circular Trail watching the buffaloes in actions as well as looking at the sleeping volcano at Xiaoyoukeng Recreation Area. The scenic views were spectacular. Our tour guide, Nicolas had managed to help us with the navigation and he had provided us with useful information about the venues. Very vocal and friendly guide. However, the challenging hike trail up the Yangmingshan mountain to look at the Menghuan Pond had caught us by surprise. The steps were very rocky & steep and I had difficulty descending. To my pleasant surprise, a kind Taiwanese lady had offered assistance by lending me the hiking stick. It was a frightening experience. Not advisable for someone like me to take this trail. Thought that it was a simple trail which was supposed to be manageable. Due to time constraints, we got to pay extra so as to cover the tour at Qingtiangang Circular Trail. Nevertheless, we were glad to be able to immerse in nature.

Had a great hike. Sean contacted me to suggest an earlier time to avoid the fog on the volcano. It's not an easy hike but worth it. Our guide took us to an authentic place for beef noodle soup as well and a hot spring bath too. FYI the hike down is harder than the hike up

Mr. Wong was a very good tour guide. We were able to go at a pace that worked well for me. I was able to take the photos that I wanted. He was very knowledgable and I learned a lot of the history of Taiwan. He was also flexible with our plans because of the weather!

We picked the leisure route and spent a wonderful half day. Our drive / guide Sean was great. The scenery was beautiful.

Vincent was our tour guide. I booked this tour with hiking without checking the weather first. That error was completely on me. Despite the rain, Vincent made sure we still saw as much as possible. We opted not to hike given the conditions. He took us to Qingtiangang Grassland, Jingshan Suspension Bridge, Lengshuikeng ecological pool, and Niunaihu Lookout. After these stops, the rain was getting worse, and he took the time to find out what else we could see to make the most of our time together. We ended up at the National Palace Museum. Vincent took us through the exhibits, explaining the history and significance along the way. I highly recommend booking with Yolo Taiwan.

We had a brilliant day on this tour. The views were breath taking and walks were perfect after a long flight. Our driver James knew all the great spots and we experienced our 1st Din Tai Fung. Kids loved it (I have a fussy eater). Thanks James.

Frank is a wonderful guide. My brother and I greatly enjoyed the private tour and despite the rain at the end of the hike, Frank’s energy made the experience awesome.

Great experience! Our tour guide Vincent Lee was very accommodating and worked around our interests. The scenery was beautiful and we were lucky to take great photos before the rain came. We recommend!

Vincent was an awesome guide . Typhoon Hai Kui was hitting Taipei at the time of our tour but that didn’t stop us. We hiked to the peak with rains and heavy winds. The view wasn’t worth a darn but the experience was exhilarating and a good story to tell at parties. I enjoyed every minute of it. I recommend this tour regardless of the weather forecast .

Great trip except for the weather but Harry changed things up for me and I ended up seeing some things in town. It was foggy and raining but no one can control the weather, Thanks Harry!
