Excellent tour in one ofel the most beautiful places I have ever visited Tour guide Jelena was amazing!

The tour ended up being just my husband and I. Jenilena (I’m sure I’m misspelling her name) was amazing! She was so informative. I loved that she is a native of Kotor too. The food was delicious.

Bogdan was a fantastic guide, he really made us feel welcome and had a lot of passion for telling us about Kotor and Montenegro in general. The food was great, too much for 2 people! The starter of cheese, meats, dips and salad was enough for a main course but having black risotto and mussels afterwards was icing on the cake. Defintiely worth booking!

Marina, our guide, was the perfect person to spend our morning in Kotor with! She was so knowledgeable of the city’s history, recommended shops to us, and of course shared the stories of the foods we tasted. We were only in Kotor for the day during our honeymoon cruise, and were so thankful we got to spend a few hours learning from & hanging out with Marina. 100% would recommend, and we can’t wait to come back to Montenegro!

Great way to explore Kotor at the start of our stay here. Tour guide Nikola was helpful, courteous and - as a local - very informative and knowledgeable of the town and its history. Plenty of food (and drink!) stops and a fabulous lunch to finish in the centre of the old town. All in all, an excellent tour which we can recommend unreservedly.

Kotor was a lovely surprise, and my favorite place to discover on a 12 day cruise. The walking tour was great - tour guide Jelena was friendly and fun, and very knowledgeable. We walked throughout the town, learning about its history and shared lunch and a glass of wine together. 10 stars!!!

This was an amazing short tour of the Old Town combined with delicious food and wine! We weren’t expecting so much food - so make sure you come hungry!

Jelena was our tour guide. She was very thorough and a lot of fun to show us around. We thought learning about how the local meats were cured was fascinating and they were delicious.

This tour was awesome! Ryan was an amazing guide, and gave us so much information about Kotor. He was friendly and fun and made it so interesting. We loved the food and wine part of the tour. Absolutely recommend this tour if you want to learn more about Kotor, but also want to experience local food and wine!

I selected this tour based on what I read in Rick Steve's guidebook. Our tour guide, Dejan, was very professional and passionate about his country. We toured Persat and almost had the place to ourselves! Then Dejan drove us to Kotor and took us to the local market for olive, cheese and meat samplings. We walked around town and he explained the history of Kotor. The tour ended up with local wine and food. The food was excellent and so was the wine. I think we could have fed a family of eight with all that food! Excellent tour for cruise passengers who do not want to be on a bus with 40 other people.

This was a super cool experience and exceeded our expectations. Our guide was awesome, and there was an abundance of food. We received a crash course on both Kotor and Montenegro in general. If you’re looking for a unique experience or excursion, this is it.

Our guide Dan made this tour a wonderful experience. We walked through the old city to learn some history, sampled foods at the local market, and then feasted on some excellent food at a local restaurant. All of the food we tried was very delicious. If you are visiting Kotor I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you again to Dan.

Exactly as described. Learned all about this quaint Old City of Kotor. Jelena was insightful and charming. This would be great if you could add a couple more people for further enjoyment.

What a great tour! Nikola was great and very accommodating. We had lots of great food along with information about Kotor. Would definitely do again!

My husband and I took this "two hour" private trip with our guide Kim and thought it was terrific! We met up (on time) outside the city gate, which was easy to find, and started at a local market along the city wall, tasting olives, oil, meats, cheeses and brandy/rakija, and meeting the local producers. As we toured the Old Town, Kim shared info about the city and its history, as well as local culinary traditions. We ended the walking part of our tour around 11:30 when we sat down outside at a charming restaurant on a busy square in the Old Town. That stop included bottled water, several glasses of wine apiece, a beautiful charcuterie board that included local sauces/dips for with bread (just like in the photo ad), as well as a lovely squid ink and aubergine risotto. It was a VERY generous amount of food, and all of it was delicious. Kim sat with us until about 12:30, patiently answering our many questions about daily life in Kotor, and providing personal perspective which we appreciated. She was very forthcoming, took her time with us, and could not have been nicer. It was a delightful way to spend a morning and have a lovely lunch (for not much more than the cost of the lunch!).

Marina was a superb host during our 'Private Walking Food and Wine Tour of Kotor' and definitely didn't let 'Bura' or the wind and rain dampen our spirits. She was extremely knowledgeable and provided some interesting facts and insights on Kotor along with some restaurant recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Marina. Our only regret is not stopping to buy some of the olives and homemade honey with fruits and walnuts in the food market.
