On an extremely frigid but brilliantly sunny day in early December, Michel was our guide for a Quebec City walking tour. We hardly noticed the cold though as he gave us so much to see and learn. What a fascinating city and Michel made the past come to life with his deep knowledge for the area and a passion for history. Thanks Michel and we hope the 250 Yr Boston Tea Party Anniversary reenactment went according to plan!

We were looking for a private tour of the attempted invasion of Quebec by Benedict Arnold. Michel took us on an excellent tour that included all of the important locations and gave us his insight into the battles. He is very knowledgeable and provided us with a detailed history of the events of the invasion and a bit of the history and culture of the Quebecois. Just what we were looking for!

Seeing how Canada and the US fit together in the big picture couldn’t have been explained better. We highly recommend the tour.

Michel S. was our guide for our private walking tour (we wanted to be able to customize our tour so we went the private route, and it was worth every penny). He met us at our hotel and started with a discussion of the history of Quebec that was a perfect beginning to the walking tour that was to come. Then we spent about 2 and a half hours walking through Quebec City, from the lower town up to the upper town. Michel was extremely well-versed on the history, even of the specific buildings. He came prepared with historic photographs and renderings of what had once been vs. what exists today. He was also quite funny. And, he was able to answer every question we asked him. He paid attention to our needs (one of our group has arthritis so needed to go more slowly when walking up stairs or up hill) and was generally very entertaining. All 4 of us were thrilled by the tour, which exceeded all expectations.

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. He provided a very thorough history of Quebec and Canada. He showed us numerous landmarks throughout the city. Took us to key historical sites. We highly recommend this tour to all history buffs and those interested in learning more about this lovely city.
