Peter shares Vienna's history and gastronomy with passion. Bars and restaurants are very well chosen and we discovered an unexpected quality of food. Quantity is much over than what we use to have in this kind of tours !

What a fabulous first day in Vienna! Peter was an absolute perfect tour guide. His knowledge of history is only surpassed by his clear love for his native Vienna. He took the 2 of us all around the city - walking, on the subway, and on they tram. He introduced us to all the Vienna favorite food and drink. Absolutely wonderful! We had a great time and enjoyed seeing other areas of Vienna that were off the beaten path.

We had a great time with Wolfgang/Wolfi! Starting with a Viennese breakfast from Cafe Korb, not too far from Stephansplatz; we went over to Reumannplatz, a working class neighborhood, tried fresh fruits at the neighborhood market; grabbed a brilliant Austrian lunch on the way from there; had ice cream knodels along the way at a cute place named Eissalon Tichy (filled with kindergarten kids); visited Brunnenmarkt to try some street food; and wrapped up at a chic coffee place before heading back to base! Wolfi’s experience on the ‘trail’ showed well, and we were greeted with warmth everywhere! It was a truly enjoyable experience. Thanks again Wolfi!

The variety of the food was excellent. Patrick (our guide) took his time to explain why each stop was made and explained the background of the food. The plentiful amount of food was very surprising. Don't eat breakfast before your tour. The amount of walking was not too strenuous. We really enjoyed and appreciated Patrick. This is a tour I would whole-heartedly encourage people to take. The walk through the market was a sensory delight, with the sounds and smells. The food choices were a very good assortment of Viennese tastes. Patrick interacted well with both teenagers and adults. The culture of Vienna was explained as we walked through the city. Getting to spots that were farther apart we used the Metro system. Patrick explained how the system worked making our own travels around the city the next day much easier.

A must do if you have time. We had the pleasure to have Verena be our guide. She is very knowledgeable and beyond food, also share many of Viennaese custom. Great to understand how locals live and shop. We had a fun few hours with Verena and she had made our Vienna trip a very memorable one.

Henrietta was a great person to lead our tour. She was very informative and showed us how to eat like a local. We tried a wide variety of foods and drink which gave us the confidence to order for ourselves during our trip. We really liked the fact that we travelled on public transport which was so easy to use. We have enjoyed similar tours in different cities across Europe and have always had a great time; we would definitely recommend the tour to others wanting to capture a flavour of the city they are visiting.

Maria was a fantastic guide! She took us to the best local places to enjoy delicious local meals. We were open to any options and Maria did not disappoint. We would have never found the places she took us to on our own. We would book again and would ask for Maria - strongly recommend her!

Christof was a wonderful guide. I enjoyed the coffeehaus experience (lots of pastry) and the traditional lunch, but he made a special effort to find poppyseed pastry which is apparently a "home style dessert" not something found in fancy pastry shops. But we found some in the local street market and it was yummy. We also stopped at the Xmas Market in Spittlesburg as it was Advent.

Ornella was the perfect guide. We were so lucky to have a private tour with her (they split our group in 2 so our party of 4 was alone). I don't think I would change a thing! From the 3 markets we saw to all the amazing food of Vienna (the dumplings were a highlight for me) but all of the food was amazing. I will for sure recommend Ornella and your tour company to any friends or family visiting Vienna. What a treat!

Great guide who was knowledgeable and friendly. The pacing was great, and the different experiences and wide variety of local dishes were fantastic! We were with a small group, which made the tour special. I highly recommend it!

This was a great food tour with Verena! She took us to some great places in Vienna and we sampled food while she told us stories about the food, the restaurants, and Vienna. She picked interesting places like Cafe Korb, owned by Susanne Widl, where she made sure we checked out the bathroom doors downstairs. Farmers markets are always interesting to check out in a new city or country and she took us to one where she said all the locals shop and I was shocked how cheap things were there. All the food was good, there was even ice cream swimming in vodka (at 11 in the morning! :-) But we also were shown some other things in Vienna like the amalienbad, Altmann & Kuhne with the miniature chocolates and Zum Schwarzen Kameel, a 400+ year old restaurant Beethoven used to eat at, with mini open faced sandwiches. We didn't eat here on the tour but Verena showed it to us and we went the next day and it was so good. Verena actually left us with quite a number of recommendations of things to see and we hit a few like the Art Museum, the outdoors elevator at MuseumsQuartier, Cafe Museum, etc later in our trip. We just didn't have enough time to hit all the places she gave us for homework though! Verena is very nice and a fantastic tour guide.

Take this tour! One of the better food tours I have been on. Not just for the food, but the utilize the Vienna Subway and show you the whole town, not just a single neighborhood.

This was an excellent tour for anyone who wants to learn the about the hidden gems of Vienna and wants to experience a variety of local foods. Verena was a lovely tour guide who shared her extensive knowledge of Vienna! Be prepared to eat A LOT!!! Thank you Verena & Wolfy!!

It was very exciting! And it seemed like there was endless amounts of delicious food! Christoph, our tour guide, was wonderful. Our family really likes history so he made sure to incorporate that into our tour. The unique food paired with the great conversation made for an excellent adventure through Vienna. It was wonderful to run into Wolfie on our tour! We would definitely recommend and would do again!

In general, being on a private tour makes the experience more personal, instead of following a structured tour, it felt like you have a friend who is showing you around. In particular, Christopf was informative, conscientious and most of all, fun. He made the tour light and he did not make us feel like we're on the clock. Such a gentleman. You have to make the food tour a part of your trip.

Fantastic family experience in Vienna! Thanks to Wolfy and the team for a great experience. Pre-tour communication were great and everything went smoothly the day of. Our elementary aged children really enjoyed all the food, stories, and special attention they received. Wolfy even found a special workshop opportunity at the Zoom children's museum in Vienna and booked our family in for an afternoon time slot so we finished our tour with an experience selected especially for our children.
