This is the best tour I have ever had. Considering the tour guide was a PHD certainly helped. This was the most informative and interesting tour I have ever.

The most advantages of Ferdinando’s tour were a) he was always responsive ; when I asked something about tour in the planning phase, he replied within 24 hours every time. I could plan the itinerary without any frustration, especially on this most popular tour in Rome/Vatican starting in early morning. b) Tour driver was punctual. Because the tour starts from 8am, and the time is quite important to enjoy Vatican museum without crowded people. The driver who is Ferdinando’s business partner came to my hotel at 7:20. No stress at all. c) Ferdinando knew everything about Vatican and their masterpieces. And his behavior was very personal. We could enjoy 2.5 hour tour in early morning with less people. Everything was well planned and the guide was really knowledgeable on history. We were with small kids and he kept them engaged and interested.

Our guide was Ferdinando. He was very personable, helpful and well informed. He answered our questions and took photos. he told more than the basic facts, giving some background context information as well.

Ferdinando did an amazing job and we (my girlfriend, me and her mom) loved all the info and time that we had to admire and learn about the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and especially St Peter's Basilica. He took his time and gave us an incredible tour and spent time explaining different aspects of where we were and what we were looking at. Amazing tour guide and really gave us some great tips for the rest of our time in Rome.

Ferdinando was amazing. This was my family’s second tour with him. The original tour my family took, they wanted to know everything about everything, and he provided all the information they wanted to know. On this tour, we were museum-lite people, and he definitely understood. It was the perfect balance of history with us looking on our own versus learning/asking for more. We had the most amazing tour of the Vatican with many thanks to Ferdinando. We were able to enter the grounds ahead of the crowds which made it so much more enjoyable. Ferdinando’s education and knowledge of the Church and Italian history is incredible. We learned so much and did our best to take in all of the information he had to share. It's rare to have a guide who is as experienced and knowledgeable as Ferdinando. We truly appreciated his amazing explantations of what we were seeing as we went through Rome on our private tour. There were many times on our tour that he took us aside and gave us incredible insights of events/facts that we would have not gotten on a normal tour. He also gave us great insights into what we should do for the rest of our vacation in Rome and even checked on us to make sure we got home alright by cab/train. Our Rome tour was June 2015. Fernando gave a wonderful tour. He was entertaining and knowledgeable. We give him five stars. An additional event happened to us during the tour. Outside of the sisteen chapel, our 12-year old son suddenly passed out. Fernando helped us get him to the clinic. He also helped us by purchasing something for him to drink. The final diagnosis was that my son just needed to hydrate. We were even able to rejoin the tour once he felt better. But, we will never forget how wonderful Fernando was during the experience.
