Absolutely amazing experience visiting Egypt. Mohamed helped us organized our itinerary and was fantastic at coordinating drivers, guides, etc. we visited Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Abu simbel, and also took a Nile cruise. Big shoutout to our guide Hamdy who was wonderful both for customer service and explanation, and also Mahmoud who is very knowledgeable regarding hieroglyphic. Our guide in Cairo Mohamed Ramadan was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend him!

Guide and driver were right on time at my hotel for pick-up. Nice guys. At the first stop it became clear they tell their story and you go and explore by yourself and be back at a certain time. Fine, but being a solo traveller I would appreciate you taking some pictures of me as well in front of some of the stuff. All well...on to the valley of the kings. We entered and we walked up to a seating area. He said, you should go to three places and just pointed north, west and east. Little did I know that you only get three stops with your ticket. I thought that was the exact point of getting a guide...to show me exactly where to go. Needles to say I wandered in the wrong tomb and was refused access to the one I was supposed to enter because I used my 3 stops...If only I had a guide to show me the correct ones... We exited and I was brought to a place where I could witness the old arts and crafts of the old Egyptian workers..aka a commission trap where they try to sell you stuff. Expected, but read the room. I was out in 2 seconds. We drove to the next site, which was the temple of Hatshepsut. I managed to get some pictures taken with me on it, got a brief walkaround and was let go on my own again. We then drove to a beautiful location, for I must say, a very good lunch. After lunch I was done and afraid of more commission stores so I let them drive me to the hotel and just went to Karnak by myself. Nice guys. But then I book a solo tour, I expect 2 things: Take some pictures with me on it and here it comes....actually tell me exactly where to go if I only have 3 stops at the Valley of the Kings (which they also forgot to mention) instead of pointing in a general direction. It's not like I come there everyday...you know. Mediocre at best

Very good trip, Saber was perfect tour guide, no rush when we were at each place, we had time to take photos, explained everything we wanted to know but left us to explore some sites as we wanted. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and both the driver and him were very kind and we enjoyed learning about the West Side of Luxor. Thank you for the nice day! Mohammad provided an excellent experience while we visited Luxor. It was an amazing lunch overlooking the Valley of the Kings. His crew made our Luxor visit the highlight of our Egypt tour. He has wonderful employees that cater to each person or group. The tour’s most valuable player was our guide, Saber. Often referred to by other guides as “the Professor,” Saber was able to tailor our tour to our specific interests. He provided a wonderful background to each location and then enhanced the tour by providing specialized knowledge on certain topics we inquired about. His ability to create such personalized tour info makes him an elite guide.

I had a great day and did a bespoke tour with valley of the queens and temples added on. Samah Ahmed was my guide for the day and she was great. She took time to explain each of the places we went and welcomed questions. It was a good balance of allowing time to enjoy the areas and giving information about the places, the carvings, stories and history. She was also local from the West Bank of Luxor so it was nice to have a local person explain things. I recommend her as a guide for anyone who visits!

Our guide, Saber, met us at our hotel and escorted us across the Nile by private boat then we drove to Valley of the Kings. Excellent, informative and professional tour of three tombs included with the tour plus KV9 Ramses V and VI. Saber gave us an in-depth explanation of Ancient Egyptian culture and had photos to illustrate the key points. This was invaluable as there is so much to see in the tombs and temples; we now knew what to look out for! Hatshepsut Temple blew us away - great architecture and a huge scale. On to Madinet Habu which is very well preserved and quiet, a quick look at the Colossi of Memnon followed by lunch at Malaya House. A private chef cooked fresh and delicious Egyptian food for us. We loved every minute of our tour. Full marks to our guide who brought the sites to life for us and our professional driver.

I would highly recommend booking with Far & Beyond Travel. We booked the private West Bank tour for the three of us, which included transport (mini van) and an Egyptologist to guide us around the valley of the kings, mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon. The tour was fantastic and well put together. Our guide, Hamdi Mohamed was very knowledgeable, giving a good introduction to each site, and, in the case of the valley of the kings, suggesting the tombs to see and what to keep an eye out for. While at the mortuary temple he gave us a detailed explanation of the hieroglyphics and reliefs, as well as the ongoing excavation works on site. In addition to all this, we also stopped off at a local alabaster factory, and got to see first hand the art of real alabaster carving.

A place of wonders, giving us a taste of how Egyptians live here in Egypt. Our accomodation was well taken care of and every room was clean, even the toilet! The aesthetic on the interior is uniquely Egyptian, even the common room where we had dinner is a good place for photos! Each mealtime, the chefs, Hassan and Syed, made sure that our stomachs were full. Upon serving us, they explained to us how each dish was cooked which gave us a better understanding of Egyptian cuisine. Ahmed, the host of Malkata, ensured us we could call him if we had any request and was friendly and always accommodated to our needs. Our guide for all our tours is the amazing Egpytologist, Saber. We believe his knowledge of Egypt culture is unmatchable, and he even gave us a short interesting lecture at the Valley of the Kings. All our doubts regarding the ancient Egyptians were answered with detail by Saber. There was no rush in each temple, as he took his time to share with us the history of the temples. He even knew where the highlights of each temples were! Amazing! Our concierge Abdullah, Mahmoud, Khalid and Alaa were all very puntual. Each time we entered the vehicle, the air condition was already on blast and helped us cool down better. They were super friendly too! Not forgetting, we went to Muhammad's (the manager of Malkata House & the tours) village to witness how handmade crafts were made. His family made us feel like family and welcomed us with open arms. All in all, we wished we had stayed longer in Malkata. It was a bittersweet farewell, and we will definitely be back for more. Thank you!

We had a wonderful day in Luxor With Hamdi. We visited Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatschepsut and the Temple of Ramses 3. He could give us a lot of Information about the sights and could answer all our questions. You can feel his passion for this period and That He wants share his fascination. The Lunch at the end of the Trip was also very good I can only reccommend a tour With Hamdi !

This was an incredible tour and our tour guide Samah Ahmed was amazing and so friendly and really helpful, she has so much knowledge on facts and ancient Egypt. She was informative and full of facts and figures. She showed us around Karnak temple, Luxor temple, valley of the kings and more other historical places. Samah also recommended the best Buffett lunch restaurant for us and food was amazing! I totally recommend booking with Samah she is a lovely person and a lovely tour guide.This trip was a 5 star trip. We travelled as a group of 8 with a child and people with walking difficulties but Samah made everyone feel comfortable. She also gave us tips on how to ignore people that come and haggle with you and made sure we were safe. Everything ran smoothly on the day. Thank you Samah. Hope to visit again in the near future.

We had an incredible tour in Luxor of the Hatshepsut's temple, Valley of the Kings plus so much more! Our guide Samah was absolutely amazing, she was so knowledgeable about all the history, spoke excellent English and had a really amazing way of explaining it so you could easily understand and follow along. Also she is very sweet and kind, we became friends with her on the trip and felt we could ask her many things about Luxor and Egypt in general and she openly spoke to us about many topics! We definitely recommend taking a tour with them and if you do ask for Samah you won't regret it. Samah is hands down the best tour guide we had in the whole of Egypt and trust me we had a lot of different ones! Thank you for the best tour, we will come and see you again one day! :)

This was our first time visiting Egypt and it was truly an experience like no other. Unfortunately me and my partner were both a bit poorly on the day of the tour but that did not stop us from having an enjoyable time. We got a private car with a driver named Ahmed from Hurgada to Luxor. It was a full day leaving the hotel at 5, starting the tour at 9 and returning home at about 8. We had a great day touring and got to see so many of the sites. Samah was our guide and she was very friendly and knowledgeable, she allowed us to take in each site at our own pace and told us many interesting stories and facts about the places and things we saw.

We had a great tour with Samah! Our plans changed last-minute so we went to the booking office at 7:15am and by 8am we were already on a boat to the West Bank! Samah gave us all the information we needed, answered our questions, and recommended the best tombs to visit in The Valley of the Kings. Definitely recommend!
