Perfect tour company. Xavier and Yoko planned 9 day/8 nights tour of Tokyo/Kanazawa/Kyoto/Osaka. They mapped out all of the trains/drivers/guides and worked with them over email for hotels/activities. Some highlights were visiting multiple distilleries/sake/Samurai exhibition with the "Kill Bill" choreographer, Shibuya Sky, Fish Market, Kappabashi Street for high end knife shopping. We had guides at all of the cities and for a first time trip made everything very smooth. There is really so much to do and they were excellent partners in this. They even created our own website to show the daily plan. We didn't have to do much except wake-up and get ready to go! FIVE STAR!!

Yoko-san was a phenomenal tour guide! She truly catered to my your adult sons' interests - from food to everything in between. Most importantly, she is such pleasant company - she was very patient with my old-lady knees but got us to walk through awesome tour spots - and local spots too! I actually would say the best part of the tours are the places were the non-"touristy" places - especially the food places. I would definitely keep Yoko-san's contact information with me as for sure, there are still a LOT to see!

We had a great tour with all the highlights of Tokyo. Yoko taught us how to navigate Tokyo on public transportation. It was so easy to do(with her help). Thank you Yoko for a great day in Tokyo!

Yoko was outstanding! She, like most Japanese was punctual and met us at the lobby of our hotel. She custom tailored out itinerary according to not only to the list of things we wanted to see but also the weather. In addition, she took us to some very local places where we were the only foreigners. A wonderful experience! Next time we will plan all of Japan with her travel company. We also booked the Sumo Wresting and a custom tour from Kyoto to Nara to Osaka.

I was on a business trip with a work colleague to Indonesia and decided to work in a long layover in Japan on the return trip home to the US. I've always wanted to visit Tokyo and decided to seek out a tour guide to help me get the most out of a short trip. There were a lot of 3 hour tours out there to see a specific area of Tokyo, but none gave me the feeling that we'd get to see anything more that a typical tourist restaurant or attraction. I came across My Japan Guide and am so grateful I did. We were arriving in Tokyo on Friday Nov 16 and flying out on Sunday Nov 18, so we had a very limited time. I was able to get in touch with Yoko-san via the website email and she was very prompt and started suggesting itineraries right away. We worked through some logistics and preferences based on things that I wanted to see and do. I wanted to really experience the food scene in Tokyo especially wagyu and sushi. Yoko-san did not disappoint. She arranged a wonderful wagyu Teppanyaki experience for us on Friday night at a local restaurant that was off the beaten path in a residential neighborhood. We were staying in Shibuya and would never have found this place on our own. Just having her guide us through the subway system was worth the price of admission!! On Saturday, she had a full day planned for us with visits to various shrines and temples al while making stops for drinks and food along the way. The highlight being a traditional sushi lunch just near the Tsukiji outer market. Yoko-san took care of all the reservations for our meals and was such a great resource communicate with the chef. She got us seats right at the counter and we had an amazing meal. We saw so much that day visiting various sights around Tokyo. I'm not sure how she was able to squeeze in so much without ever feeling rushed. I can only imagine what she's able to do when you have more time to spend with her. I can't thank here enough for making our short trip so memorable. We are experienced travelers on business around the globe and I know that there is no way we would have been able to see and do so much without her help. She was so knowledgeable and was able to explain the sites we were visiting. Thanks again Yoko-san and I can't wait to return with my family to experience more of Japan. My Japan Guide will be the first call I make when planning our trip!!!!

I traveled to Tokyo with my family of 5, all grown ups who had very different interests. The nature of planning this trip was difficult - Luckily I came across Yoko on TripAdvisor. She was an absolute star in creating a tailored itinerary for places that we specifically wanted to go. Overall, it was fantastic experience and I would highly recommend her!

Very pleasant day. Xavier was an excellent guide. Asked me what I wanted to see and then supplemented that with his own suggestions. Having him around to get us from place to place on the subway system was invaluable. I could have never done that myself. Got a great overview of the city. Recommend this tour highly.

My family visited Tokyo for the first time over the New Years holiday. Xavier led us for two days of sightseeing - I don't know how we could have done it without him. Xavier guided us through the Tokyo metro so we got to see a wide array of places - and we gained confidence to ride the metro on our own on the days and nights without him. Xavier was great fun to be with and he shared wonderful insights into the Japanese culture from a western perspective, being from France but living in Asia for 25 years. And Xavier was kind enough to send us suggestions and metro routings for activities on the days and nights we were not together. Thank you Xavier for a wonderful time in Tokyo!
