Despite being advertised as a budget tented safari, I only spent one night in a tent and the rest in private rooms. Food was plentiful and tasty and the water was kept cold. The landscapes and high wildlife numbers were breathtaking. Comfortable land cruiser and excellent driving skills. Also we enjoyed at materuni waterfalls and coffee tour this day trip was amazing

We did this tour after safari it's was unique experience And unforgettable trip we enjoyed to make coffee and dance with coffee boys. We swimming at hotspring was amazing I can't recommend enough

I went into my safari not knowing what to expect. I am a single traveler and spent a lot of time looking for options to join a group. Lucas was able to find me a group to join at the last minute I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food we received, the camping and accommodations were better, so I wished I had brought a towel) and I enjoyed getting to see the animals up close. The highlight in my opinion was the early morning game drive making me glad. Also last day I did waterfalls was amazing make coffee and drink then I was swimming in hot springs

From safari to this day trip everything was good they provide all services as we promise. I real like this day trip we enjoy to swimming in cold water from Kilimanjaro mountain and make a cup of coffee. We really recommend this tour

We had a great time on our tour! It started out a little rocky as the guides were late. I don't have Whatsapp, which limited our ability to check in with each other but one of my travel companions reached out. We were able to get an update and the guides were apologetic once they arrived and made sure we still had time to everything. This was the only so so part of the experience and the guides made up for it. We started out at Chemka Hotsprings to avoid the crowds. This worked out perfectly for us! The water temperature was comfortable (more like a reasonable temp for a swimming hole than a hot spring in my opinion) and the pools were great to swim in. One was more active than the other with a rope swing set up. We spent a couple hours swimming around. Materuni was beautiful! The hike to the waterfalls does descend a fair bit and I had to go slow coming up but the guides were patient. They were great about taking photos for us. The coffee tour was also a highlight - you could tell that the group was enthusiastic about what they did, which is infectious. The coffee and lunch were delicious! Overall we had a great day!

We started the tour visiting the Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour. It was cool and really nice for a morning hike. Our guide Christian knows everything about the culture, the place and the history. He literally knows every passerby. He also takes great photos. We enjoyed this private tour very much.

We had a very nice day tour with Christian. He explained us many interesting facts about the local population and went around showing us the waterfall and coffee village. At the end we enjoyed a nice relaxing swim at the hot water springs and when we asked for a detour through Arusha, Christian gladly showed us around there as well. We purchased a 6-day, 5-night tour and added-on the visit to Materuni waterfalls on the day of our departure. Lucas and I corresponded via WhatsApp(+255763468213) which made it easy to ask questions. We were able to make the tour private for the 4 of us travelers, tailoring it to our needs. The payment for the Materuni tour was easy using Pesapal. Our guide, David, picked us up at our hotel in Arusha and we drove to the Kilimanjaro region. We were able to see Mount Kilimanjaro on our way, in the distance. When we arrived at the Materuni village, we were met by our local guide, Emmanuel, who accompanied us, explaining about the region on the way to the falls. The hike to the Materuni waterfall along the slopes of Kilimanjaro was a challenge, but well worth it. The included lunch which was made by the local women was delicious….we tried banana soup. We loved the coffee lesson and seeing how the Chagga tribe roast and grind the coffee on site. We bought a few pounds of ground coffee to enjoy when we get home. Since the airport was not far, we were dropped off in time for our flight home.

We had a wonderful & unforgettable experience, everything was well organized. Our guide Aboh was amazing, we enjoyed every part of the tour. I certainly recommend this adventure; nature, hiking, culture, swimming, relaxing and good local food. I recommend this experience to every one

It was a great experience. Abouh explained in step by step detail about what would happen on the tour. He was very professional with lots of knowledge. We saw the materuni waterfall. Then we learned about making the local coffee dance and singing with coffee boys also we got chance to taste the local food and banana beer and finally went to the hot springs. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend to everyone need great experience.
