We went to Long Tan, Nui Dat and asked our guide to take us to The Battle of Coral/Balmoral. The guide helped us find the memorial for Coral/Balmoral which was where our Australian friend was killed in May 1968. It was fantastic that we could go to the place where this battle happened. No other tour does this. Thank you Tuan our guide for finding it and taking us there. We thoroughly recommend this if you want to visit the Battle of Coral/Balmoral.

This was a fantastic tour with great attention to detail. Tuan shared his incredible personal connection to the War, including with photos, and took us to some amazing sites. The van and drive was very comfortable. This tour was the highlight of my journey to Vietnam.

Our tour guide Alex was the best. Full of information and old photos. He even organised flowers, our national anthem and the Last Post to be played at Long Tan. I can’t recommend Alex highly enough.

The first hand information from the tour guide that served in the war. It was somber to lay flowers at the shrine and reflect on what happened here for both sides of the war.

Tuan was a wonderful tour guide, I was traveling with my teenage son who selected this tour and it was just a great experience. Tuan also encouraged us to join him the next day with his tour to the Chu Chi Tunnels. These 2 days were my sons favourite experience in Vietnam. Would definitely recommend both these tours with Tuan.

Booked a private Long Tan Tour. We attended the Long Tan Cross which was peaceful and glad we had the opportunity to pay our respects. We also visited the Long Phuoc Tunnel which was really interesting and Nui Dat. The vehicle was clean and tidy. Our guide Tuan was a South Vietnamese Army Officer during the war. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable in regards to all aspects of the war, in particular the Australian and New Zealand Army units. I also enjoyed his personal memories of the war and could really listen to him talk all day about his first hand experiences. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Tuan, he was awesome.

We were warmly greeted by our tour guide and driver as they picked us up from our hotel. The car was clean and comfortable. Our tour guide was a jolly 75yo former officer from the South Vietnamese Army. He gave us insights to the Australian and New Zealand deployment to Nui Dat and history of the era. The Long Tan memorial is a peaceful place and we paid our respects to the fallen there a minute’s silence, burning incense and leaving flowers. There is not much left of the Nui Dat base and the area is now a quarry. Nui Dat hill is there so some of physical features remain. The Nui Dat airfield’s runway is now a local road and helicopter landing field a soccer field now. We visited a few other places along the way but the Long Tan memorial and Nui Dat were definitely the highlights. We were returned our hotel happy that we had visited this significant part of our troops’ history.

Tuan was a fantastic guide with a really insightful knowledge of the history of the area, and knowledge of the battle. Really enjoyed the tour. Would highly recommend especially for anyone with an interest in Australian military history. Not much of Nui Dat left as it is being used as a quarry, but still worth a visit.

Alex (sticky rice) was a very knowledgeable and informative tour guide and along with his 2 apprentices running the camera got a lot of photos and videos of our trip to nui dat and a short remembrance at the long tan cross.A look at the tunnels and a very nice lunch saw us heading back to saigon. Thanks to Alex and the team for a very good day and would highly recommend the trip.

Went to Nui Dat and Long Tan. Was a comfy ride and we saw all that was left of the Australian base (not a lot as it’s being mined out) and the memorial cross. My guide did a ceremony and was informative with place cards and information. I knew bits about the battle from the documentary narrated by Sam Worthington so it was very interesting to put yourself in the place of the soldiers.

Tuan was a wonderful guide full of information with photos and maps to explain site locations. Took group photos and forwarded them on to us. Not much left of the Nui Dat site much of it quarried, the airstrip which is now a road, being the main remaining feature.

This was a very worthwhile trip and made particularly memorable because of our guide Tuan who is a spritely 76 year old former officer in the South Vietnamese Army who was able to share with us some of his experiences. We also briefly met another older gentleman in local markets who used to be a driver for the Australian army whilst they were in Vietnam. The tunnels were interesting to experience (albeit obviously enhanced for western tourists). There wasn’t much to see of Nui Dat as there is now a quarry operating at the site. It was awesome to see the memorial at Long Tan and a nice touch by Tuan who played Advance Australia Fair for us to pay homage to the vets who sacrificed their lives for Australia.

We loved that our tour guide, Tuan was an ex serviceman in the Vietnam conflict. He is very passionate and has a wealth of knowledge that he eagerly shared with. He is also very dedicated to keeping the memorial as a place for people to show their gratitude and to pay respect to those who lost their lives. As ex service people, we were very pleased and honoured to share our experience with Tuan. Our bus driver was also very capable and a lovely man, who drove us very safely to and from in a luxurious limo.

Alex is an incredible tour guide with a wealth of knowledge and ability to tell the true story of the American (or as we say Vietnam) war. He tailored the trip for us after we talked about which battalions our family had served in. The historic photos helped us connect to the war history of the places we visited. Alex also helped us suggestions for the rest of our trip! Definitely recommend this tour!

Private car picked us up from hotel and took us to Long Phuoc tunnels, Long Tan cross, Nui Dat base site(that has now been demolished) and runway (that is now a road). Tuan explained in great detail of the history of the area, mostly from personal experience as he was a captain in the South Vietnam Army. Very emotional and respectful tour as an Australian.
