Had a wonderful day trip. The tour guide Mr. Khaksh was very friendly, well spoken and well informed and explained us the history of the land throughout our Journey. Thanks to him and Hyur team.

We took two private tours one to Khor Virap, Noravank, Areni wine factory and the other one to Garni, Geghard, etc at the end of March 2024 and both were excellent. We visited a number of beautiful places and Armine was a great guide and told us a lot about Armenian history and heritage. Highly recommended!

I took two tours with Hyur while I was in Armenia for a week. Both were very good - the guides (Hatch and Arev) were great, the cars were clean and comfortable, and they were both very knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing their knowledge. Neither tour with them lasted as long as scheduled, but they probably planned extra time for slow folks or for those that wanted extra time at the sites - which wasn't me. It was fine, though - I didn't feel rushed or shorted with the tours. The only real disappointment I had on these were the restaurants we went to for lunch. Both times, the restaurant was disappointing - the food was mediocre, and the service needed help. One tried to overcharge me (added significantly from the price in the menu), and the other brought the veg for my meal 20 minutes after the main, and forgot about my drink altogether (though it was still on the bill). This isn't Hyur's fault, certainly, but they might want to partner with better restaurants ...

We opted for a private tour so we could explore the sights on our own and without a rush, Vahram was our great driver who drove us to all the sites safely, it was very well organised and we didn’t have to worry about anything. The monasteries were beautiful and very unique and lunch was tasty!

Suggesting both to book. As both are so supportive to us. Both came on time to pick us and showed us everything what we planned.

We visited khor virab in the end of July as a family. We were very lucky to have a very good experience with the transportation and our visit of the site. We had an amazing view of the Ararat mountain and visited the old monastery filled with a rich history. We also had the chance to see the different underground chambers. We were accompanied by a very nice and polite driver named Kegham Tarpinian in a very comfortable and reliable car (with A/C). The car was filled with cold water for everyone to enjoy in that very warm day. A must visit in Armenia, especially with huyr service.

Really nice tour. Great to see Khor Virap and I climbed down to the prison whole of Gregory the Illuminator. Our guide Hamas give us a great intro to all the places.

Took a private tour with Hyur travels.. Excellent customer service. Got a really good driver Mr. Leon, who speaks very good English and is knowledgeable. He was more like a guide for us, without paying anything more than for a driver. We are very happy with their service.

The guide and driver arrived on time and tour was as described. I wouldn’t say there was anything extraordinary, but there wasn’t anything horrible either. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, albeit a bit robotic in nature. You could tell that the commentary was very rehearsed and almost memorized like a script, but I guess that to be expected when they do this day after day. The biggest knock I have is the van for the tour itself. There was AC, but it didn’t really work. The van was scorching hot all day and the waters, while were provided were also warm, so we opted to stop and buy our own at the stalls along the way. Overall, it was a nice day, full of information, and beautiful countryside!

A long tour that was made easier with great transportation and driver (if you have more than 2 adults in your group would probably be best to ask for the minivan). Our very knowledgable guide Elizabeth was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. We gained a wealth of information about the two monasteries, bird cave and winery. Lunch was excellent and they catered to our needs.

This tour with Sam (guide) and Avet (driver) was one of the highlights of our holiday. Sam knows a lot and really got us interested about what we were looking at, and also made sure we had some time alone to enjoy where we were. We also had nice talks about contemporary armenian culture. He was helpful, also with ordering food, which can be challenging if you don't speak english. Avet was a safe driver, and although the tour passed through mountains, I didn't get carsick because of his careful driving. We felt very well taken care of and enjoyed the day. Both monestries were interesting and gave beautiful sights (of ararat, and other mountains passing through a gorge to get to the 2nd). For wine took the more expensive option of wine from wooden barrels, which was surprisingly good wine! Or, maybe not surprising since the valley is a very fertile valley with many fruits...

The tour was great and also the driver Gregory with us is so nice and accommodating. Surely will book again.

The tour was well organized. The guide, Khachatur, and the driver, Arayik, were friendly and cooperative. Khachatur was well informed about the history of Armenia and could represent it in a very comprehensible manner. Thank you very much. Will use the services again.

My Girlfriend is Armenian but i have never visited Armenia, after seeing the Hyur Service on a Youtube Bloggers Vidio I decided to book, The booking process was so simple, select your private tour or group tour, I selected the Private Tour , Booked and paid for online including all Fees for the ancient Birds-Cave and Hin Areni wine factory. We did this tour on 18th Aug As we were not staying in Yerevan we had to travel into the city but if you are in Yerevan they will pick you up from the hotel. we visited a store nearby to get lunch, Lavash and then went to the Pickup point. The staff was So Good and very good English was spoken, no problems at all, Our Driver and Translator/Guide came and Introduced themselves and then took us to the Bus, Free Water, Air Conditioning so amazing. Our Guide was so good, she told me about Armenia and all the facts about each place. Even my Girlfriend was so happy with the day, we both learned so much about this beautiful Country, Many Thanks and I hope to book again on my next visit to Armenia

It was our first visit to Armenia. We met our guide Hamas and driver Levon at 9 am in front of our hotel. The minibus was clean and in good shape. Levon drove very nicely so we could relax in the bus and even get some sleep after a short night. Hamas explained everything to us and was able to answer all our questions. She has a good background knowledge about Armenian history. Thank you very much for this great experience!!

We had another great trip with Hyur Tours. This time our guide was Khachik and another great driver. The tour to Noravank via Khor Virap and the "Bird Cave" in Areni was a great experience. Naturewise a lot to see and our guide provided very detailed information on everything. Thank you

We booked a private tour through Hyur a day ahead and we could not have made a better choice. We took the Khor Virap, Noravank, "Hin Areni" wine factory (tour & tasting), ancient "Birds-Cave" (Areni-1). Our driver Levon was on time and very professional. His car was super clean, comfortable and we were provided with complimentary water. Our only criticism was that the ’Hin Areni Winery’ tour wasn’t value for money. It felt rushed and sadly we were unable to understand the guide from Winery. We took part in the tasting which was good but were not blown away. Also felt a little pushed into to buying a bottle… Wish we had checked the google reviews before dining here too. Nothing special and it is overpriced for what you get elsewhere in Yerevan.

We went on this tour led by Rosa our tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave us amazing facts about the places we visited. She knew so much about every site and answered all our questions. Very fun and definitely worth the price. You actually get to walk into almost all of these sites and touch things whereas sometimes with these types of you’re limited with how close of contact you can have with these historical sites and artifacts. The winery was great as well, got a little drunk with the samples and had a great lunch afterwards to sober up for the next excursion. Overall, can’t say enough good things about this trip, and it was Rosa that made it so great, cracking jokes and educating us at the same time. Our driver Armen was also so sweet, and made you feel safe with his driving. Stop reading this review and book it, trust me you won’t regret it , the sites alone are worth it but Rosa and Armen were the cherry on top!

This was one of the best tour experiences I've ever had, absolutely book with this company! We were a group of five friends. The morning of our pickup we asked to change the itinerary by adding another winery we had heard about and removing a prearranged stop. They supported this and even arranged the new wine tour. Our guide Gayane was fabulous - she was knowledgeable on so many topics and patient with our many questions. Our driver Arayak was safe and competent on some challenging roads. Thanks to this company for making our last day in Armenia very memorable!
