Our family is lucky enough to visit Portugal on a semi-regular basis and we have booked seven tours with Portugal Magik in Lisbon and Porto. They are always phenomenal guides who love their country and want to share it with you. Just a delight! Very prompt and wonderful people with whom it is a joy to share the day. This tour is especially memorable - Sintra is one of our favorite places on earth! Very special and well worth a visit.

Amazing service and a great value for the cost. Our tour fell on a rainy day in March but our guide Andre still managed to make it a memorable experience. He was fantastic, we enjoyed the conversation and on top of touring the area he took us for wine and local food tasting and shared a lot of information and tips about other local sites. I would never believe that such a rainy day could turn out to be one of the best days of our vacation. Highly recommend!!

We experienced a wonderful, memorable journey starting in beautiful Sintra and the Peña Palace. With the guidance of Miguel, we learned much of the history of these mystical, historical sites high up on the mountains. With a leisurely pace, we discovered these areas as well as awe inspiring Caba da Rocha and relaxing Cascais. We had plenty of time to have Travesseiros and cappuccinos in Sintra and a delicious prawns and wine in Cascais. One of the most important aspects of travel is the human connection. Miguel exemplified. He is a true gentleman who was able to let experience the past and present. Furthermore, we saw in him, as well as many other Portuguese, a welcoming, sincere kindness.

Excellent trip and Miguel the guide was fun and knowledgeable. He also was kind enough to adapt our itinerary to fit in the Palace at Mafra. Really great day and well worth it. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our tours with Portugal Magik. Communication leading up to the tour was plentiful and they provided the name, WhatsApp, and a photo of our guide to make finding him so easy. We booked both a Lisbon walking tour and the day trip to Sintra and cascais and got the same guide for both. Francisco was incredible and we were thrilled to spend the day with him. He successfully navigated the fact that I had forgotten to get tickets to Pena and instead took us to the stunning Montserrat Palace that we had practically to ourselves. We opted to “trust him” for lunch in cascais and had what may have been the best lunch of our 10 day visit. The sprinter van was in pristine condition and after almost two weeks of manual transmissions we relished having an automatic ride. We all agreed that the tours were a highlight of our trip to Portugal and are already planning a return to cascais and Douro valley, with Francisco leading the way of course.

This tour was the highlight of our Portugal trip. Roy, our guide, was very knowledgeable and interesting. The tour was well planned and executed. We would not have had the same experience at the Palace without Roy. Highly recommend this tour!

We had Miguel again for our full-day tour to Sentra and other areas outside Lisbon. Can't say enough about the tour and Miguel. He knows how to read people and didn't just go through the motions. One day private tour was another WOW!

And exceptionally knowledgeable guides. T Thank you Miguel for a great day outside of Lisbon. We started our day off at Pena Palace and Miguel provided an exceptionally good tour tour. His knowledge of the history of Portugal and the palace is impressive. I don't think there was any question we had that he was not able to answer accurately and thoroughly. We then spent some time in the little town of Sintra, then to Cabo da Roca and one of the highlights of our day was our time in Cascais. It is an absolutely beautiful seaside town...looks like the French Rivera. When we come back to Portugal, we will spend more time in Cascais. It was just beautiful! As a side note....Miguel is a GREAT photographer. He really knows how to handle the camera and get the best photos.

Our guide Miguel was the very best guide we ever had. We have been on many private tours and Miguel surpassed them all. He brought incredible energy, provided wonderful intricate details on each stop, was extremely informative, friendly, fun and most important - was the best photographer we ever had. Our guide Jaoa was fantastic, knowledgeable and engaging with out kids. Felt like we got the local feel and guide with great overviews and sharing his personal favorites. We got some amazing pictures and views and lunch was probably the best we had all trip! Highly recommend.

Our guide for the day, Victor was an incredible resource of history, culture and overall information regarding Portugal and our highlighted sights of the day. He was energetic, positive, professional and a great guy overall. He was a very good driver, made sure we were comfortable through the entire day and stayed flexible to our interests. He brought us to an beautiful restaurant for lunch with traditional food and also include a few stops along the way for added treats. Our guide joe was very knowledgeable. The travel accommodations were great. The three sites we went to were amazing and we have a little time at each site to walk around and explore a little.

Visit to Pena Palace, walking down the narrow lanes of Sintra, Cascais and also the end of the world at Cabo da Roca. It was a beautiful sight. While commenting on the tour we must compliment our Driver cum Guide John Madeira. He was excellent and took very good care of us. He understood very well our requirements and made our trip really memorable. He was very kind, considerate and loving person. We took four tours with P-M. Our guide, João, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, prompt, and, most importantly, flexible. Almost every tour we took somehow deviated from the proposed itinerary, based on his suggestions in response to our stated desires. There were things we ended up not seeing, and things not on the plan that we were very happy to have seen instead. There is a LOT in the area to see. We have a list of things we need to go back and see and P-M will be our first stop for guides.
