I rate this trip a 5. Sergio was a great tour guide very attentive. Very funny and entertaining throughout the entire tour. He is also very knowledgeable of Mexico’s history.

We’re were picked up on time in a nice and comfortable Honda at our hotel. We stopped first at Tula and it was unbelievable. The guide’s knowledge was amazing and that actually started in the city with an overview of Mexican history. It was a great day that included a stop for lunch that was delicious and served on an upper terrace. Next was Teotihuacán, it was a little late, but good. Much larger pyramids the expanse of which isn’t touched. Pro tip, ask about stopping at the third pyramid!

Just fantastic on every level - pick up as arranged from our hotel at 08.00 and then a great day out was had. Our guide was a fount of knowledge and our drive was comfortable & safe - cannot recommend highly enough. 5 green spots stars is the maximum we can give, but it is honestly less than is deserved!

I did the Teotihuacan and Tula tour in October with Sergio, one of Freelance's guides. He is an absolutely phenomenal guide! So knowledge, kind, and funny. My great aunt came and he catered the tour to suit our different capacities, scheduling in rests and modifying the route when needed. We had such a good experience that when the rest of my family came a few weeks later, I booked the same tour again with Sergio. He is one of the best guides ever!

Sergio was a phenomenal tour guide. What a gift to learn from a man who has been teaching about Mexico for 47 years! He was very warm and welcoming, assessed our knowledge prior to starting and then crafted the tour accordingly. The car ride was relaxing and smooth. We loved exploring the ruins and hearing about the ancient cultures. The lunch was at a cute rest stop where you can taste authentic drinks and a table overlooking the pyramid. Loved this tour!

A really great day seeing two amazing sites. Our driver and guide were timely, knowledgeable and good company. Everything ran to plan and we have great memories of our time at these important monuments.

Our tour guide and driver (duo) picked us up in a private van. Very nice ride, excellent tour guide (Carlos), and the day was just made very easy. We went at our own pace, the van was waiting for us at the exits at each stop, admission prices included, end of the day meal included (drinks and tip not included with the meal).

Ramon was an absolutely outstanding guide. I've never spent a day with anyone more informative or engaging. Absolutely stellar! We can't recommend him enough. We kept peppering him with questions and he was happy to give us all the detail we could handle. It was just a delightful day! The itinerary was extremely well organized and Juan, our driver was excellent. Best tour ever!

Luis and Veronica were great guides they brought these sacred places to life with their knowledge and stories. They made the experience fun and enjoyable. Definitely would recommend this trip to anyone willing to visit and learned about these sacred sites.

Outstanding full day private tour to two incredible archaeological sites with our guide and driver. Our guide was extremely well informed about the historical sites as well as the countryside en route. Our driver was safe and very courteous, Large modern vehicle fully equipped with water, soft drinks, sunscreen and even a stylish hat for my wife to wear in the bright sun. Taking a private tour is the most efficient way to cover a lot of ground quickly and being able to see exactly what you are interested in. We are both in our early 60s and we highly recommend this tour and Mexico Tour Freelance.

It was a very fun walk, at the beginning there is a museum where there are pieces that were found during the excavations, there is a corridor where there are different types of captus, it is very beautiful. I recommend that you bring a hat or an umbrella, as well as comfortable clothes for walking since the road is a bit long to reach the Atlanteans and the day I went it was very hot. Also bring hydrating drinks and eat breakfast before so you have energy. As for the route, the history of each figure and monument was very interesting to me. I recommend you buy a souvenir of your visit to this beautiful place full of history. I hope and do not hesitate to come.

Both sites were very interesting - Arturo was a knowledgeable and excellent guide. Food at the lunch restaurant was average. Definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting Mexico City.

Literally the best tour we have ever been on, and we travel 3-4 times a year to international destinations. Pedro, our driver was incredibly safe and courteous and was always where he was supposed to be at the end of our tours. Ramón, our tour guide was nothing short of incredible. There was not a question about anything involved in our tours, or in general about Mexico, that he didn’t know. We were consistently blown away by his knowledge of Mexican history, including pre-Columbian, as well as his vast cultural and current political knowledge. Highly recommend, best guide ever!!!!

Ramone & Pedro were the absolute best! We had a group of 6 people and they catered to our every need! Ramone knew everything about the history of Mexico and was super fun! Group of 30-45 year old friends and we had a blast! Please book direct with Mexico Tour Freelance and ask for Ramone!

Driver Arturo and Certified Tour Guide Carlos picked us up on time at our hotel (8 am) and spent the whole day with us going to Tula and then on to Teotihuacan before returning us to our hotel in Santa Fe at 6:30. We can't say enough about Arturo - he negotiated the heavy traffic and highways with calmness and care. Nor can we say enough about Carlos. He was so informative and patient with us at every step. We can't imagine having seen these sites any other way - but know it was worth every penny to see them this way. Carlos is a scholar and you can tell he enjoys both the history and sharing it with others. We'll always be grateful for these two and their professionalism. We were offered cheaper prices for trips to these sites, but we're so glad we chose to pay the money to go with professionals. Just in case you wondered, the jeep looked brand new. Perfect condition and very clean. The agency has travel insurance. Lunch was really good and very close to the site. (La Mayahuel). Don't hesitate to book a tour with them. We hope we'll be able to come back and take more tours this way. While this was a really long day, both of these sites are not to be missed. Two days, two tours might be better, but we only had one day so squeezed both in. Our deepest gratitude to Carlos and Arturo and the Mexico Tour Freelance tour agency.
